So harvested Gigi yesterday (D70) as she looked ready. And also very beautiful in my humble opinion. Covered in trichomes and very bright orange pistils pics don’t do justice. The buds are smallish but really hard / dense abs she stinks to high heaven. After a week of drying, Heidi is just about to start curing. (120g / 4 oz). Tbh we’re smoking her already as she’s already way better than current stash. Tastes absolutely delicious, I’m not one for describing pretentious flavours. She tastes dank and makes me properly stoned lol. Also only gonna get better now on the cure. Naomi is the final girl still going, plan to pull her on Sat/Sun D77 ish. She’s the biggest of the 3. Despite showing some signs of earlier nute burn she has powered through with the biggest and longest buds of all 3. Very excited about her. And finally the other 2 girls (not included in this diary) strawberry pie autos look a few weeks behind these but just going into beast mode both are 1.2m tall and getting loads of solid super stinky and frosty buds. It's time for the outdoor flower stage from a 4 week veg, these girls has mature really strong and have took to its transplant like champs. At this point it's all about monitoring there growth and any deficiencies and on my part patience. Feed skip a day then water then feed then water, y'all get the pattern.

Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

I lost all my pictures of my candy kush harvest but the bud was pretty uninspiring, not much for terps or smell and just makes me sleepy so been using it when I get home from my 12 hour shifts at 7am so I can get to sleep quick as possible, will be the last plants EVER from royal queen seeds ,defended them for the last year but since growing real breeders seeds I see that rqs is most definitely a white label seed company that sells us all fake genetics that are not what they say they are,I gave them every chance but when I grow 5 different strains and they all end up looking,smelling and tasting exactly the same theres something fishy going on ,sucks too because now I don't want to give those strains a chance because rqs's version left such a bad taste in my mouth(literally and figuratively)

Switched one generic t8 8w led for a t8 9w grow led. Plants have responded well to the change. Will give the plants a few more days before moving them down to the 2nd grow chamber with double the lights. Will leave the small ones in the current chamber until they recover and catch up. USB Desktop fan seems to be too directional. WIll adjust so that the airflow is a bit more uniform.

Plant Progress: 1. Tropicana Cookies: Growth: The plant showed significant progress, reaching a height of 37 cm by mid-week. Health: The plants remained healthy throughout the week. No signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies were noted. Interventions: Regular watering with 2 liters on alternating days and nutrient feeding with Alfa Boost at 1-1.5 ml/L. Light defoliation was performed on the 23rd to improve light penetration and airflow. Environmental Conditions: Maintained a stable temperature range (25-27°C during the day and 20-21°C at night) with relative humidity levels ranging from 62% to 75%. Increased PPFD to 500 towards the end of the week. Training: Introduced LST on the 27th to promote even canopy development and better light exposure to lower nodes. 2. Gorilla Zkittlez: Growth: Continued healthy growth, with notable vertical development reaching 21 cm by the end of the week. Health: Overall health was good, with no significant issues. A slight abrasion on a large fan leaf was monitored but did not worsen. Interventions: Followed the same watering and feeding schedule as Tropicana Cookies. Conducted light defoliation on the 23rd to enhance airflow. Environmental Conditions: Similar stable conditions as the other strains, with temperature and humidity maintained within optimal ranges. PPFD was increased to 500. Training: LST was implemented on the 27th to encourage bushier growth and ensure even light distribution. 3. Apple Strudel: Growth: Displayed steady growth, reaching a height of 21 cm by the end of the week. Health: Maintained good health throughout the week with no visible signs of stress or nutrient issues. Interventions: Consistent watering and feeding regimen with 2 liters of water on watering days and Alfa Boost nutrients. Light defoliation was done on the 23rd. Environmental Conditions: Environmental parameters were kept stable, mirroring the conditions of the other strains. The increase in humidity to 75% towards the end of the week was monitored. Training: LST was applied on the 27th to support even growth and improve light access to all parts of the plant. General Observations and Actions: Lighting and CO2 Enhancement: Continued to monitor and adjust the PPFD levels to ensure optimal light exposure for all plants, with a final adjustment to 500 towards the end of the week. CO2 levels were kept stable to support healthy growth. Nutrient Management: The consistent use of Alfa Boost and Epsom Salt has been effective, with no signs of overfeeding or deficiencies observed. Training and Defoliation: Light defoliation was carried out to enhance light penetration and airflow, reducing the risk of mold and pests. LST was introduced to encourage more even and bushy growth, promoting better overall plant health and yield potential. Conclusion: Week 4 has shown continued healthy development across all strains. The plants are responding well to the environmental conditions, nutrient regimen, and training techniques. 2018-07-17 Start of week 16 of veg. The girls is doing awesome and growing like crazy. I have topped them hard from the beginning and i will do a final topping this week. I will start flower as soon as i get my 4 x HLG 260W QUANTUM BOARD KIT V.2 that i have ordered.

Day 141. Girl is thriving, but now nobody will close greenhouse for nights and watering will be very limited... In two weeks I am back and will give her all TLC she will want. She is the healthiest plant in all greenhouse ;) Happy Growing !!!

We had rain morning Day 1 and the previous night. Early morning Day 2, around 2-3 a.m., we had thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy rain. This was followed by sunshine that afternoon. Despite the 5% rain forecast for day 3, we had a thunderstorm. It produced heavy rain and strong winds. For about a hour in the morning Day 3 and that evening showers. Day 4 was all day sunshine with a lite breeze. That was excellent turn of weather to dry out the soaked soil. Day 5, 6, and 7 we had sunshine and a breeze. I added 2.5 ml of ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil on day 1. I added a second dose of 2.5ml ferrous sulfate per gallon of soil top dressed on day 5 for a total of 5ml/gallon of soil, top dressed for the week. I added 1.3 ml/gallon of soil(10ml) blood meal, top dressing on day 5. I watered on day 6 and 7. The ferrous sulfate really began to work on day 6. On day 7 they had a healthy even green color and are rdy for the stretch to begin flower. These plants surviving and thriving through the challenging spring weather and grower proves how resilient these fastbuds genetics are.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain.
