16 tops! Wow so this lady has started to recuperate from the butchering I did last week, the tops coming along nicely 👌 about 2 weeks throw her into flower 🌼, happy growing and stay green ✌️ 💚 👌

She’s almost done and it’s about to start raining here so definitely getting the chop this weekend. Flushed already seeing the colors come out she looks nice 😊 smells good like flowers and skunk also super sticky

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Big difference in the two Cali Snow plants! The centre "Plant 1" is well along in the flowering process with obvious bud sites forming along the small amount of LST I've been able to get going. Got a bit more stretch out of it but it looks like she's settling down but the sativa flowering of this strain is noticeably behind the indica LSD-25 planted same day in my other diary. The other girl "Plant 2" that is far left and was cooked under the dome early in the grow seems to still be in a pre-flower phase and I'm actually getting a lot of decent stretch/growth in the secondary sites. I'll keep an eye on it for the next week to see if I have to set it off myself with a 12/12 cycle but there are a few pistils here and there. Hopefully it's just a little set back in its timing because it's going to turn out to be the biggest of all 3 plants I have going now. Will have the best veg base for flowering for sure. Hopefully I won't have to set it to 12/12 and rob the other two plants I have further along in flower of a few hours of light a day. Gave another feed with upped nutes but still playing it on the low side. Going up a little each feeding and no signs of burn on any of the girls yet. Making sure I'm chasing feeds with plain water and spraying the top layer with plain water here and there to keep any build up at bay; Since the girls aren't big enough for full pot runoff feeds due to small size. Day 48 - 12/16 You can see how different the timing on the two Cali Snow are. I'm loving the extra time with Plant 2 to set up bigger secondary branches and the pistils still seem to be SLOWLY forming near the top and mature sites. In an attempt to avoid switching her to 12/12 to fully trigger the flower, I've let the temperature drop down a bit to the high teens with the light on by lettering in the winter air and keeping the tent open with lights on. Hopefully the lower temp here and there over the next couple days will get it moving. Plant 1 is well along in it's flower. The bud sites are well defined and the stretch seems to be wrapping up bringing it in just a bit bigger than my small LSD-25 in my other diary going right now. Pulled it out and reset some new LST on the plant with a less drastic lean. Clipped a few fan leaves and 3 fingers from the two Cali's, anything blocking light or bunching up too much but tried to leave as much as possible for energy production. The classic Cali Snow smell I was warned about is starting to come in. Even P2 with little to no flowers is throwing off a nice scent. Still tent contained without exhaust for now so no worries on that front. Day 50 - 12/18 Gave them their biggest feeding today in both nutes and volume. Both split a mix of 1ml each PH Perfect MGB with 1tsp Molasses in a gallon of water with a half gallon plain water chase. First time the plants have been big/thirsty enough for a run-off feeding. Will spray top layer in a day to clean top layer of any residue then top with D-Earth sprinkle to let sit until next feed. These girls have gone from identical to fraternal twins. P2 on the left is looking more like the plant I wanted in terms of size and spread. The set back in flowering time has really allowed me to train it up and get lower branches up to a pseudo-canopy. It looks like it's FINALLY about to make the final switch as the still bright pre-flower tops are starting to shoot more pistils and new leaf growth has that telltale upward point as the spread comes to an end. P1 is full flower swing is chugging along nicely as I opened her up main stem up with some selective defoliation and the thin sativa bud structure is slowly but surely coming in. As a new grower, seeing the fatten/faster Indica flower of my LSD-25 right next to the Sativa on the same schedule is a great observational experience. 👽 The smell of the two Cali Snows are finally starting to ripen up. Bananas are doing great, very nice, big, fast-growing ladies. Especially one of them has a very peculiar smell, I definitely get it why they are called Bananas :D I flipped them to 12/12 after 47 days of veg. I was a bit afraid that they were getting too large, I hope they will fill up the remaining space nicely.

So there they are fully blowing my tent! I got 90cm on the tallest one and wasn't prepared at all to deal with such height! The light were just at the 40cm distance limit from the tallest one and she doesn't look like is going to stop growing so I had to reorganize my setup to fit the light at a higher position. Even though the lights are right there with the filter I guess there's not much light being lost. The thrips seemed to started to get everywhere and I could spot one of then (several actually) for the first time and they are nasty. I bath the whole plant with more conditioner for a couple of times and I couldn't spot any today but I'm gonna take a closer look tomorrow as today was about lsting all the side branches to fill the mesh as better as possible. I'm pretty happy with the amount of good potential bud sites. They are several and pretty strong too! I'm guessing that except for some defoliation along the way that's the final shape of the plants. There's plenty of light getting to all important buds and even the lower ones are getting some decent light too (thanks @MarsHydro). I hope they stop stretching and getting those flowers big and chubby soon! Cheers

Hola a todos 🙌 completando la quinta semana. Conseguí aumentar la dosis de fertilizantes, es nítido en el crecimiento de las ramificaciones. La sexta semana será la última de vegetativo para comenzar la floración. Está comenzando a oler bastante, se siente en todo mi cuarto. Actualmente invirtiendo en una manera de disminuir el olor. Esta semana hubo demasiadas variaciones de temperatura y humedad, me parece que la afectaron un poco pero ella continúa creciendo fuerte. Buenos humos 🍃 happy growing

First time lst attempt and mainlining.. youtube videos are my life right

The little ones are developing well, unfortunately there are a few minor nutrient problems in the direction of Calmag with the Morello Cherries and also slight signs of this with the TerpyZ Punch. I counteracted this with a foliar spray. The pH value of the hydrosystem has unfortunately dropped a little to 5.5, which I have equalised with ph up from Plagron. The plants are currently getting light between 800-900 ppfd and as soon as the stretch starts, l'll increase this to 1000 ppfd. Both ladies are slowly starting to smell.

Hey Growers, End of week 10 from seed Earlier in the week I began noticing an orange color on some leaf tips, I probably overfed them nutrients so I fed them just water with a ph of 6.0 on the following feeding schedule and the leaves are looking better now. Last week a weird smell was coming out from the colas, its slowly changing. Its now starting to smell like 🍃 🍋 ⛽️ Noticed a small Increase in orange pistils I want to increase light intensity but I am worried the red stems on the top of the plant will get worst and then affect the whole plant. Only the top part of the plant has some red stems, the rest are all green. QUESTIONS How close am I from Harvesting? When should I begin flushing?

I removed those structures to prevent more stress to the plants, as they have recieved a hard training and i want to give them a breath and also grow as they like. This week i can see how the Gorilla with the main-lining is developing more defined and taller colas than the other plants, let's see how they evolve in some weeks. Following med-teks feed chart. Feeding heaviest nutrients (2.7 EC) runoff currently just over 3.0. Going to need to do a small flush to and start reducing ec prior to actual flushing phase. Advised by my local hydro shop to reduce EC down to 1 before hitting the plants with the heavier nutrients. Only started applying this method 2 weeks ago. Seems to be ok. Would appreciate some opinions but!

Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Lens Flexibility: With interchangeable lenses, I can adjust for macro shots, wide angles, or depth of field, something even the best phone cameras can’t fully replicate.
