🚀 Week 8 Overall | Flower Week 3: Taming the Beast! 🌿 What’s up growmies! Hopefully you are enjoying your Christmas time 🎅 Today is December 29th, marking the first day of Week 8 overall and the start of Week 3 of Flowering. The stretch has been absolutely relentless! Even after my last adjustments, the girls were still pushing too close to the light. Today, I had to do some final low-stress training (LST) and bending just to maintain at least a 20cm gap between the tops and the LED panel. I’ve got my fingers crossed that this is the final week of the stretch—I’m officially out of vertical space! Recap of the recent "Rescue Mission": • Heavy Lollipopping: I’ve cleared out the entire bottom section (the "skirt") to maximize airflow and focus energy where it matters. • Canopy Management: Raised the AC Infinity net and thinned out the jungle. It was a massive defoliation, but necessary for the plants to breathe. • Organic Strategy: I’m still seeing those yellow tips from my initial soil mix mistake, so I’ve started adding Organic Silica to help the plants handle the light stress and strengthen their structure. The plants are looking much more manageable now, even with the minor nutrient burn. Now it's time to stop the vertical growth and start stacking those flowers! 🌸❄️ How's your end-of-year grow looking? Any advice for the Week 3 "stretch-ender"? Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 As you can see these ladies are growing nicely. They're both at the same height 59cm but one is wider than the other. Quite nice so far. That's 12cm in one week same as the Royal Gorilla. Evenly spread canopy, the one that had better shape from the start now has longer colas. Both are stacking nodes nice and tight. They have a nice green color to them but you can't really appreciate that in the pictures. I'm still trying to get a hand of this new phone, I might just go back to the camera. 🤔 Starting to get a little shine to them, I think this strain will be the first in forming trichomes. They give off a nice smell but I can't put my finger on it yet. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. **Info and pictures were taken at day 12 of flower.** Hope you enjoyed this week's update. Hallo 👋👋👋 ein weiterer vergangener grow meinerseit, den ich nun Stück für Stück hochladen werde. Dies ist auch mein erster Balkongrow. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine photoperiodische Blue Sunset Sherbet von Barney’s Farm und einer Royal Jack automatic von Royalqueenseeds. Beide sind direkt in einem 8l Topf auf dem Balkon gestartet und wurden mit florgsnics ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Jack hat sich absolut prächtig entwickelt, die Sherbet durfte einige wilde Entscheidungen meinerseits miterleben. Wünsche viel Freude beim Lesen :)
