So I spent about 18 hours searching for plants and picking out mold with tweezers After last year's experience with another seed bank, I expected the plants to be very affected by mold, but I have to say that Fast Buds genetics coped very well! Mold appear mainly on blisters to which the stem of the leaf leads water, which then collects between the stem and the blister I trimmed the plants more so that the air flows better and that water does not stick to them The plants look healthy and the flowers are gaining strength Especially the dark purple phenotypes look very dense and hard. it also looks very resistant to mold Very pleasant sweet fruity scent I haven't seen my children for 3 days, it's raining extremely ... the last time I was chased out by swarms of ants in the early evening, I've never experienced this before, there were maybe a million of them and they sat on me and on the plants I'm finally going to visit them tomorrow, I expect I'll have a lot of work to do with mold and I hope the swarms of ants haven't harmed them in any way

After topping last week,we flipped to flower! I've been training the girl down with LST wire. Want as level as I can until I reach the edge of the light. But I've been increasing the light intensity slowly this run. Normally I just blast them but went slow over the week. Getting water more often now and will install the self watering pots today. Looking good lowering temps to keep my terps from burning off remember once you smell it their gone forever lol! I did run through a few little problems you can see rip burn and some stretching one was a experiment and one was my own fault. As of right know tho I’m very happy for this harvest!

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be growing beautifully and now they are starting to develop beautiful flowers and they are entirely covered with white snow trichomes it is a very strong and powerful plant to grow what a beauty . thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Flowering week - 5 91 Octane - the biggest one is so satisfying in three babies and waiting to see bigger buds in next following weeks. July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Extra watering, misting air, and wetting the sides of the grow bags with hose water to keep things cooler and hydrated. So far so good in the heat. Did foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Also note that for all my grows I use apple cider vinegar for pH adjustment and a Dr Bronners liquid soap as a wetting agent (surfactant). Euphoria is doing great, but to ensure that it finishes early enough for this latitude (53N) where the UV light gets very weak after mid-August, I’m starting the force flowering tonight. Already starting to flower but I want a strong flower set and as much flower growth under strong sunlight as possible. Force flowering schedule is 2-3 weeks of in dark garage at 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then back out at 7 am. The light initiates dark mode 2 h faster so it’s like having a 26 h day. Good trick use as a bloom booster, also moves up the finish 2-4 weeks. So, 10+2 is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight. Might sound bogus but it works. July 21: first night of force flowering caused a big stretch. Notably stretched after darkness in hot garage overnight. Hot outside overnight too but was much hotter inside garage and recorded here as 24 C. Seems okay and high overnight temperature might be ideal at this early flowering stage. Warm overnight temperatures continue for a few more days. July 22: record hot overnight low forecast for tonight of 24 C and feels like 27 C with humidity. Wow, that is really incredible for here and 13 C above historic average. July 26: six days into flowering and she is doing fine. 👍👍

Both outdoor autos settled firmly into early-to-mid flower this week. Nice Cream Auto showed steady bud development with tightly stacking colas and strong lateral structure, holding a healthy green canopy and giving off the first creamy berry aroma. Tiger #2 Auto remained more compact but equally vigorous, pushing dense flower sites and releasing a sweet grape-diesel scent. Trichomes began appearing on sugar leaves across both plants, mostly clear but multiplying daily. The 5-gallon Nice Cream retained moisture longer while Tiger #2 dried faster under afternoon heat, prompting slight watering adjustments. By the end of the week, both plants were thriving under the warm SoCal sun, entering the stacking phase that will define mid-flower in Week 9.

So the trio reached a great point for me to try out the talked about LST 90* bender clips. They worked pretty easy and I didn’t have the feeling that I was about to snap the branches. Day 21 I defoliated all the purple stem fan leaves. Now feeding full strength additives. I will leave them in two litre pots too finish up.

Overall it was a great first time grow. The outcome was smaller than expected. This was caused by the heavy under watering, that stunted the growth of the plant. However the 26g of weed that I got from this harvest is amazing! Smoking is very smooth and the sativa effects are great.
