10/8 - going along steady. I'll take few more glam shots later. 2 MONTHS. It may not look like much but I'm proud of these 3. This is probably the healthiest tent I've had since I started growing inside. I just want them to fill out the net a little better before I flip. 10/10 - trellis training is underway. Between topping and this, I should have a nice, full canopy this time around. I've estimated about 72 squares in my net yet only about 35 or so colas forming. Wondering if I should really I push this one or quit while I'm ahead. One thing is for certain, Moby dick is responding much faster to being topped than GZ. Every stem of Moby I've topped has grown lower shoots aggressively and quickly. Gz has been far slower to respond. Noted. Can't wait to see these things bud. But patience is a virtue here. If the veg stage is any indicator, the buds going to be phenomenal.

Hey people! ✌️✌️ So, at the time of this post, it's day 60 of flowering. 🌸🌸🌸 We're nearing the finish line. This week, the seeds started popping out in all directions. Feeding remains unchanged: AB 20ml/5L. Today, I noticed some scary numbers on the runoff, measuring at 2500ppm. Next watering, I'll give them plain water. I'll continue feeding until the very end. The taste of the buds isn't our focus in this grow, and what kind of buds can we expect anyway? I continue to train the big plant as it started leaning to one side. I've tied it to the pot for support. My bet is that in 2-3 weeks, we'll be harvesting, collecting seeds, and running some bubble hash. There's a new addition to the grow box. I added a Barney's LSD auto since it's outgrowing my small box. I also planted 7 no-name seeds that came my way by chance. Curious to see what comes out of them. Day 21 in the flower tent and I think the stretch is now complete. The girls are 12" tall above the screen and I'll probably put up a 2nd layer of trellis just to be safe. Will definitely only run 4 of these next time, or maybe 2 with the same veg time to keep the canopy lower, but I don't think the Photontek x465wPro will have any trouble penetrating down into this! Also time for another big strip! These girls just keep putting out the fans, so we'll just keep stripping them off, keeping tabs on airflow and budsites. We're still not setting bud yet - seriously, four full weeks of stretch so far here...

So I’m making my nurturers then diluting down to my desired ppm be careful using these nutrients at full strength with autos! Test and tried will burn and tox your plant! I transplanted into one gallon pots the last day of week two May 6th,2023. They seem to have taken very well to the transplant. 🤞🤞🤞

(Monday) Trichomes are milky so flush week will commence. I’ll do a week of Florakleen only to get rid of any salts and nutrients in the root base and then just pure ph’d water for final week. Not rushing this as I wasn’t super happy with my last grow of Zkittlez because of my cure. (Thursday) Posted a pic of the first “dark and curly” as I like to call the amber trichomes. Smell has really shifted to a sweet, berry scent. The first time I’ve smelt weed like that.

The veg cycle was shorter than i usually like to have a plant go through, due to time restrictions for the Bubba Cheesecake Diary grow-off, but it still did fantastic in my mind! Three months in veg under high-octane light and 11 1/2 weeks in flower have let this plant turn into a dreadlocked group of nugs. Three main colas, but lots of burnable flower to enjoy once the dry is finished. I did a light LST with a decent amount of defoliation throughout the plant's life. I like to open up the middle area of the plant and let as much light as possible hit as many branch and potential flower nodes as possible. This way, i don't need to lollipop as many branches and as much foliage as i would if i didn't do this. Plus, the candelabra look is b-e-a-Utiful, in my opinion. Light intensity through veg ranged from 40% as a fresh seedling to around 55% the week before i put it into the bloom room. Once it was in the bloom room, the intensity was set at 50% for the first couple weeks to allow for a decent stretch. After that, i think i recorded the light intensity in my diary notes for each week. But, just in case i didn't, I bumped up the intensity by a few percent every 3 days until i hit 100%. Once i got to MAXIMUM POWER, i left it there until harvest. Water was natural well water that tests out at 7 pH. I always added BuildABloom to the water, never the soil, when i used it. Same with Dr. Earth's 1-2-1 tea concentrate. Other than those instances, it was just straight water that i was giving to the plant. Grow rooms are both about 4'x8'. Into week 4 now and I'm starting to pour the coal to these girls. I did a nutrient change and increased the solution PPM to 950. At the same time I replaced the air pump for a more powerful one as the other one I had was fairly weak. Still seem healthy and they are getting very bushy. I did a little LST mid last week and they seem to be responding well to that. This is my first grow and I'm not sure if I should defoliate a little so I can expose more tops to light or if I should just let them do their thing. I will see how they go this week.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Power Plant XL nr1 is 55 cm Power Plant XL nr2 is 49 cm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strain information Genetics for the famous Power Plant were captured by a group of Dutch growers on a trip to South Africa, back in the 90’s. They managed to breed a strain that was soon a popular choice in coffee shops of the Netherlands, most likely due to the soaring and intense Sativa high. Zambeza Seeds thought that the productiveness of Power Plant should never be forgotten and created an updated version, to bring the legend back to live. Power Plant XL yields up to 600-750g/m² in a flowering period of approximately 55 days! The efficiency and productiveness of Power Plant XL fears no comparison with many recently bred cannabis strains. Indoor heights of 80-110cm make this sativa-dominant variety relatively easy to grow, but outdoor growers need to be aware of the power that is being released under the sun. Today is day 72 from seed!! This week went real well , 2 of the Forbiddin Runtz have been getting flushed an the rest will also start flush through this next week, I can’t believe the smell of this combo strain,, super fruity smelling an all are super sticky!! Stay tuned for next week yall !

💀💀 DISASTER 💀💀 -Also the Autoflowers have started to flower! ⚘⚘⚘ ⚘⚘⚘ I went away for the weekend, and came back to 50L inside my tent!!! Thank goodness, I have the water proof tray liner installed. Something happened, I think one of the Auto-pot valves got stuck open. I took them all out, cleaned them top to bottom, and in some cases, re-trimmed the hosing to have a perfectly straight end. A few were slightly slanted. So they went 2 days without water or humidity, as the flooding killed my Humidifier (there goes 100 bucks 😭) I didn't take any pictures of the flood, as I was in hardcore mode trying to clean it up. This week also had other challenges, where I live has been having a brutal cold snap and I had issues keeping my house and my tents in good temperature ranges. Week 6 has been very difficult. 🌳 The plants still grew about 5 inches this week. 🌳 I had a plant that was smaller than the rest, by a significant amount, I found out during the clean up, that the air flow had been restricted to the line, so it wasn't getting oxygen. I'm hoping this allows the plant to catch up, and its not genetics!
