This wedding cake is looking as healthy as her sister however she's in a bigger pot 25 liters. Let's see if she does as good as her sister,she's enjoying life right I don't think I'll have any type of issue,she's being fed 100% organically,with lactobacillus liquid made by me,liquid bat guano,and she has in her soil florians living organics and more bat guano and seaweed,mycorrizae,humic and fulvic acids,beneficial bacteria and fungus. Welcome back to the conclusion of the Lemons! Day 56 from seed on the dot and these two girls came down, which is crazy fast! I had originally planned to let these girls run for another week, but the stem snapping on LP#2 put an end to that as she wasn't recovering well by the next day and I thought better to harvest now. The trichomes are in a good spot anyway, so I don't feel like I've lost out at all. The wet weight is good, but massively inflated due to the stems, so I expect to lose at least 75% of that, but I still think these girls yielded reasonably well. I like to dry in 2 stages in order to slow down that initial dry as the humidity is naturally quite low here. By leaving the stems and most of the leaves until Stage 2 I can control my dry time a little better. I leave the buds on the stems until they go into jars. There's no hard rule to how long I leave between stage 1 and 2, it depends entirely on how a particular dry is going and I judge it as it goes. Dry took 6 days total, trimmed large leaves at day 3, the rest at day 6.

Done a load of defoliation this week. Buds are looking strong. Im thinking just another week or 2 before we harvest.

Plant started growing faster and I did prune the 2 biggest leafs and started LST training.

Max stretch reached i think, starting to cola up now. Hopefully over the next few weeks she starts fattening up a bit. Added some fluvates and Humates to the res to increase metabolic rate. Adding fluvates as a foliar spray 2x weekly. Seems to he doing well.

So far so good! Watering with ph'd water at 6.3 to 6.5. Running a 18/6 light schedule using a 135w hlg quantum board. This little girl is growing like crazy! 😊 She'll be 3 weeks old in 4 days.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

She's almost done. Starting to see cloudy so I'm just continuing to water. Started the water only last week so things should start to fade out alil more now. .. Definitely learned alot for next time I run this strain. Gonna be fun to redo. See how this week goes tho, not the biggest plant but for the minimum amount of inputs she's done well. It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Really really cant complain with this one. Shes beautiful to look at to smell and to taste and amazing effects she gives off... You will be the envy of all your friends but the great thing is that you get to share! Sublime in all areas and one that I hope never disappears from production! Still see nitrogen toxicity so im going cut biogrow down to half dose and see how it goes! Besides that all looks well Smells are stepping it up in a couple pheno! On the Chocolate Marshmallow side we have a intense sour fruity pebbles on a pheno that is just unreal And on the double d side we have some rotten tooth chem smells coming through!

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Fast Buds Wedding Glue Auto Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Watering top and bottom every other day to every 2 days Growing in Natures Living Soil Autoflower mix with happy frog. I will honestly say I am very pleased that this wedding glue is starting to take off! It did take it this long to build its root system but I am happy. I think it may take this girl another week to 2 weeks to enter pre flower. Because she is the "runt" of the 4 plants in my 4x4 I will probably give minimal training for this run.
