Week 2 : Colorado Cookies in Biotabs Biotabs are drying much quicker than the other pots because they're closer to the fan, so i'll tune the air control in by having the fan pointing upwards instead. They got watered with micro from my very own specialized micro , one tablespoon per L, aloe gel from my kitchen plant, and (regretfully) a bit of lemon juice to pH it. didnt realise the organic would be no match for the aloe pH wise, so i'm spraying 1ml of my very own amino concentrate directly on the soil , not on the plant. i do one spray in the morning one spray at night, for 10 days to try to get the pH normalised to 6 , the night time is just enough to mix one spray can of 250 ml with 1/4 ml of amino concentrate, and have some left over. i added maybe 160 ppm of aloe to the watering. I sprayed the leaves once or twice max with 1ml/L spray and 120 cal mag on day 5. VPD went from week one 0.6 to 0.8 to pretty stable at 1.0. got my laser thermometer in the mail, so that really helps ! very even phenos across the colorado cookies so far, three nodes, very straight, very hungry. they seem to be enjoying having the roots a bit too cold more than the others. in soil ppm went from 340 in week one to 420 in week 2 🚀

Ok heading into Week #5 & nothing but dechlorinated tap water. Yah boi! My 1st venue into high stress topping & training - The Jack's are still undetermined sex, so I figure what the hell -- have some fun & hopefully learn a bit. I don't see anything obvious on the Jack's that are giving me anything definitive in regards to sex. I'll just keep watching. One thing I have noticed with the leaves, is that they are very strong, like a bit rubbery. Overall the are very clean, green & healthy looking. The Green Crack duo is looking nice as well. Same deal with the leaves. Strong & stretchy, but healthy -- I defoliated the giant leaves & cleared off the 1st nodes. No training - YET - Watering is done automatic for both tents. Was bout 1/2 gallon every 2 days, that will change with the the recent defolio ---- well that's about it, .

All in all every strain is doing great! Blueberry is the closes to finishing followed by chemdawg and lastly the Somango I just flipped little over a week ago so still have a little while to go with her! Blueberry has a pungent and fresh berries/citrus aroma going on while the chemdawg has the infamous og odor no doubt og is related to it haha. Thanks for checking it out! Aug 3: this is a very promising looking plant. She’s quite big and flowering quite quickly which is a great combo. She was the exact same size as my other photoperiod until the start of flowering two weeks ago, and now she’s bigger and flowering faster. Humidity is quite low during the day so I’m continuing to mist the leaves a few times during the day. Did a foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate this morning. Aug4: did a major defoliation to remove small lower buds and stuff that was growing in toward the centre. This improves light penetration and air flow which are super important but also forces the plant to direct the energy where you want at the main colas, and not wasted down below. Aug 5: lots of buds forming quickly on lots of decently uniform colas. Should be good. Big rain last night but plants were in dark garage. Watered this morning with 27 C water that had blackstrap molasses, soluble seaweed extract, Monster Maxx and Cal-Mag. Did all four on the weak side of the standard concentrations listed and just 1L used on the plant. Much cooler today so she won’t need as much water. Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. Very well deigned and manufactured like all of their gear. These are indoor lights so fair weather use only. This far north (53 N) we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Idea is to use UV lights for a couple hours each day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm). UV light is the main environmental limit on THC and this will make the light in Edmonton in September more like California in July. Should have a big impact this far north. At other end of light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoors (FGI) 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes for the far red light. This is the third season using the far red light and it definitely works. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Han empezado a tomar ritmo en general esta cepa la he visto y cultivado y siempre se demora en mostrar flores contundentes , va lento pero seguro , lo mejor que tiene es el efecto que verdaderamente se parece al lsd , no se que habrá hecho Barney’s farms con esta cepa pero es un efecto muy fuerte , adjunte unas flores de otro cultivo , esta semana defoliamos otra vez las hojas más nuevas , dándole pelea al frío que ya afuera alcanza temperaturas de 2º C , de noche la temperatura fructua demasiado las plantas están tomando tonos violáceos y se ven muy pero muy parejos todos los cogollos que se vienen.

So far it seems to be fine even if the high humidity worries me even if the temperatures are still high then they have stopped growing and will finally focus on the flowers and slowly we recover these small deficiencies
