Week 13 : This wraps up the last week of flush for the biotabs, they got 2.5 ml/L of humic acid each feed 3x 4 pints this week. These have a real funky smell to them, cant really put my finger on it, kinda plant musty, really strong smell, maybe skunky or something, main thing is they're getting the chop soon ! Clipped a fair few leaves but the idea is a dry trim and hanging the plants whole for 10-12 days of slow drying before the cure. Man i cant wait to wrap this grow up ! These kinda grew crowded, i can tell because the biotabs and mrB's have a few branches that are anemic, small, useless, so they're all gonna go into the bubble hash, let's see if i can extract anything from these beauties ! wish me luck 🚀

It’s still hot but the heat index remained below 100. Auto Candy had a growth spurt this week doubling her size from all the rain and heat. She is 12.5 inches tall and so far, doesn’t mind the heat and humidity. My little candy girl is becoming a lady. Little white pistils appeared at the nodes. Bring on the flowers. Days 106 - 112 (from sprout) 9/6/24 - 9/12/24 Chopped Loompa's Headband x Triangle Kush at day 109 - trichome check looked good enough and most of the leaves were drying out. Cut down according to biodynamic moon calendar for flowers. Blue Nose Pit senescence finally noticeable this week - anthocyanin being it's main display, buds turning more purple The Good Shit has a noticeable fade starting this week now IPM: Applied enzymes (tweetmint) at a rate of 0.5 fl oz to 1/2 gallon and sprayed on cover crops + mulch

Warmed up again, 34c highs, but cool nights down to 14c. Flowering has really sped up, this F1's flowering response is very fast, just tons and tons of pistils and the start of trichomes already. Did another compost tea this week, few hours of drip irrigation and a weekly spray of LCPT, easy going this week. Rains coming next week, but fingers crossed for some good weather over September to finish. Would like to push another 6 weeks if possible, but anything after the first week of October is really hard due to the constant 95% humidity.

So, bubba diagonal has the sweetest smell, almost like a dank og smoothie probably inherited from the purple punch and the true og, Guava cake is the most "weed" smelling like pure good sativa funky ganja, not very tangy but a little more on the cookies side, and the kmintz... probably my favourite, she has just a strong mint-fruit smell. Its a sweet and fresh zkittlish-fruity funk with a slight dank earth background, and the smell is sweet and at the same time slightly "overpowering" in your nose, almost like its rotten sweet fruit. Good morning growers .. The third week of vegetative has begun. I add for a day to week the nutrient 'vita race' of Plagron. I applied the LST and topping technique for taller plants and FIM technique for shorter plants. I cut the branches at the bottom because when they go into the flowering phase, those branches will produce small flowers. Sorry for my English 🙄 Stay tuned 🦍💪🏻

Not much to say here, plants are growing nicely and overall look fine to me. i topped the bigger ones at the end of the week above the 4th node and the new branches are starting to develop. They get a little bit thirstier and drink more often and i think in the next week i'm going to put the small ones in bigger pots. So lets get into the next week :)

Late vegetative phase over and the plants are preparing for flowering. I gave the plants grow nutrients for last time and i switched the LEDs to bloom mode. I slightly decrease the RH and i've boost the ventilation so more air could move within the tent.

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. We’re now deep into week 5 of flowering, and the plants are fully in their prime! The buds are getting visibly denser, while trichome production is exploding. Under the microscope, countless clear and first milky heads can already be seen — a sure sign the resin phase is in full swing. 24K Gold is stacking up beautifully with compact, uniform bud formations. Her aroma is becoming stronger and more complex — sweet and spicy with a subtle fruity note. The top colas are firming up and already showing a frosty coating of resin. Gelato 33 continues to impress with tight internodes and a balanced canopy. Her buds are slightly airier but covered in a thick layer of trichomes — the sugar leaves are already sparkling. Both plants look perfectly healthy: rich green color, no signs of stress or burn, just steady growth and ideal nutrient balance. The drip irrigation system keeps the coco medium consistently moist, ensuring a stable root environment. The semi-hydro setup continues to prove its efficiency — nutrient uptake and oxygen levels are right on point.
