A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We are gonna see what happens coming weeks with this strain. So far I am a bit disappointed and didn't expect this from this strain. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... Me: but this bong is made from toxic plastics? Headshop: yeas but it has this crumbling image of a leaf, 20 dollar! Can they get their shit together? For god's sake, I've seen crack dealers with better PR and customer care. Someone do sumtin, take us out of the car boot era please?

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Our number #17 grows really well, the leaves have only a few flaws and are tapered a little curled perhaps but I think that's the effect of the beginning, the stem is straight and does not bend and is very well proportioned. I am giving Plagron Pwer Roots rooting soon starting with Alga Grow. The plant grows well, the leaves are regular and very turned towards the light, it is very proportionate even I don't see stretching, bending and things that don't convince me. The girls have already been poured into 11 liter jars because the biodegradable jars have started to decompose prematurely, no problem let's go to the ground. (10/28-11/03) Starting a new grow with two 420 FastBuds Fast Flower seeds (thank you 420 FastBuds for making this possible) I plan to be rough with these plants and top them both to 8 colas. This journal will be different than my last (alot less detail) but I will still look for new opportunities to learn something new that I can share. I also plan to take at least 5 pics per week with 1 video and 1 'pretty' cover pic per week, however I also plan to delete the excess details at the end of each week. I sanded both seeds on the edge and simply soaked a towel for germination. These seeds took 3 days to show a crack in the shell from the time that I placed them into the paper towels without glass of water soak prior- As soon as they cracked, I placed them into Rapid Rooters in an incubator until they showed tap root growing out from the bottom of the rapid rooters plug. That took a total of 6 days (now called Day 0) from paper towel to transplant day (now called Day 1) where they were about 1 to 1.5 inches above the soil line after I planted them in 5 gallon pots with about 2 tsp of Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant already mixed into the ph balanced soil that had been growing Happy Frog mycorrhizae for 12 days under cardboard. I fed them each about two cups of plain de-chlorinated tap at 6.3 ph on day 2, and another .5 gallon of 5.8ph de-chlorinated tap on day 7(both plants top soil was 7.0ph before feed). I plan to ph read the top soil again tomorrow but it read 6.7 on both plants after 5.8 feed)

Sono un po’ in ritardo ma posso già commentare questi boccioli di Gorilla Cookies FF perché sono già stati trimmati e puliti per essere curati in barattoli di vetro. Non ho avuto particolari problemi nel crescere queste ragazze, l’unica cosa che purtroppo non ho potuto mantenere sotto controllo era la temperatura che nelle ultime settimane era arrivata quasi a 30ºC :-/ e questo non è stato di aiuto alle piante a cui ovviamente non piace stare sotto queste temperature di continuo…nonostante questo e alla poca compattezza dei fiori sono super contento del gusto e dell’odore che ricordano tanto i terpeni della Calypso Sun Rock di Anesia Seeds, sarà che ho trovato un fenotipo che condivideva gli stessi geni con cui sono imparentate entrambe! Inoltre è stata la prima volta che ho avuto il piacere di utilizzare il super soil di Dogma Organics che sicuramente ha esaltato al massimo le particolarità della pianta e confermo che la differenza si sente, le piante crescono a meraviglia con struttura solida e zero carenze di nessun tipo se si usa con giuste quantità e tempi sia il top dress che le giuste quantità di acqua che dovrebbe sempre essere la cosa più importante dove bisogna imparare a capire i bisogni in base allo stadio di crescita…in più ho condiviso alcune foto del mio giardino di quest’anno :)) Fast Buds super consigliato genetiche ottime e selezioni veramente interessanti

After seeing what Weekend at Garry's was coming along, I took another clone!! 👌 Also 1 lemon grab, 2 creature panics broke soil!!

Plants are getting more and more oderous. They are looking amazing and starting to give a couple yellow leaves in the undergrowth. can't wait to see what the end of this mo th brings.
