Obama runtz x gas tax sad to say both seedlings are super crappy so far. If it was not for the gas tax parent being the best flower ever then I wld just toss these but sometimes the crappy slow growing plants end up being super dank It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Orange pistols have started to show up but other then that nothing special happening , plants are starting to thicken up and still have many more weeks to go till harvest. Started to add some flora bloom to the feed to boost the finally product and increase the ppm because will the organic line I'm finding in it hard to get the ppm past 500.

Still not feeding any nutrients because I put extra worm castings in the roots organic. Next time she gets a hair cut she’s getting food.

Stretching really well in 2nd week don't think I will veg them too long, maybe another 2-3weeks, been able to top 2 of them so far. I will be topping all of them just the once. Growing slightly quicker than the last barney's seeds I used. All looking very healthy.

A little longer than a week update here. Lots to talk about since the last time. I increased nutrients because they are full on flowering now (505 ppm total). I had to remove lower foliage and thin them out to get air flow through. Water intake has definitely increased. Overall they look great, the short one is bushing out nicely, the other has stretched way more.

WEEK 12😍 This AU is doing very well, im just studying and learning best time to harvest sativas like this. Maybe first ?? 1 one week first? 5 days?? dunno we will study it through microscope and daily checks. I think surely another week but i could change my mind this week if i decide to give her more sativa effects. UPDATE : i will harvest tomorrow 9th october with 5-10% ambered trichomes

Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? I am excited because the time for harvesting is coming. She is growing too healthy compared to my expectations. Plant #1, which she blooms one week later than my plant #2 about 1 week, I continue to increase the amount of nutrients for her in this crucial stage. Plant #2, she is really my queen, the size of buds and the smell that makes me feel excited. I used a microscope to test her trichome, most of them turned milky that is a good news. So I decided to flush her and plan to harvest in the next 1-2 weeks when 20% of the trichome turns amber.
