My Runtz plant is finally taking off! It took a little while to get going, but it's growing really well now. The leaves are a dark, rich green and have a really unique, wild shape to them – long, pointy, and unlike anything else in the garden. Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

WEEK14/8F // D92/50F-D98/56F Budporn-Phase1-Zielgerade In Blütewoche 8 gehen viele Blätter der Ladies #3&#4 mittlerweile sichtlich ins purple und bringen wunderschöne Farben ins Zelt. Auch Lady#1&#2 fangen langsam an rot/pinke Spitzen an den Calyxen zu bekommen. Die Ladies ohne Zusätze sind dem Ende etwas näher. Vielleicht wirklich weil nicht so viel Biomasse fertig werden muss wie bei den Ladies mit Zusätzen. Ein Stickstoffmangel konnte ich auch schnell wieder ausschließen.Bei einem Stickstoffmangel würde es zuerst die unteren Blätter betreffen. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher das es der natürliche Fade ist und auch der natürliche Flush weil das Substrat nicht mehr viele Nährstoffe hat. Die unteren Blätter sehen alle noch Top aus. Klar werden die Blätter minimal heller als bei Lady#1&#2 die Zusätze und Booster bekommen haben, dafür das es aber "nur" Langzeitdünger einmal zu Beginn der Wachstumsphase und dann nochmal zum switch in die Blüte gab, dazu alle zwei Wochen mal den BioEnhancer zugeben, war es super entspannt und die Ladies haben sich mega entwickelt. Keine Mangelerscheinungen, nichts. Wenn man dazu eine automatische Bewässerung ins Setup nimmt könnte es nicht entspannter sein. Für jemanden der recht wenig Zeit hat und/oder viel unterwegs ist wäre das eine sehr Stressfrei Lösung. Auf gehts in die letzte Woche💪🏼 ______________________________ Düngen/Gießen: Düngermengenangabe nur für Lady 1&2 (links), Lady3&4 (rechts) bekommen nur ph-korrigiertes Wasser und alle 2 Wochen BioEnhancer. Great week both inside the tent and out this week. Inside they've been fattening and frosting up like crazy. Carl 1 is 50/50 on pistils and still mostly clear trichomes, I'm thinking 2-3 weeks. UKBS 1 is 80/20 on pistils and starting to cloud a little more, I'm thinking 1-2 weeks in that department. Outside, I've built a little greenhouse thing for the plants to chill in, out of the extreme winds. They've been acclimatizing fairly well to the low night temps and very hot days, but that's not to say they're entirely thrilled with it. Hopefully they take fully and flower out well. EOS Rebel T5 shots coming soon, tomorrow or the next day. 6/24/2021- Had some rain overnight, structure held up and kept the moisture out. Came outside to totally dry plants, and it'd been raining for several hours. 6/25/2021- Got the EOS T5 out tonight, got some real good shots of both plants. Carl 1's HUGENESS and UKBS 1's frostiness are definitely showcased well in my opinion. -Timelapse is out this week. Should only be another couple weeks on the indoor plants, probably not enough for a month. (unfortunate as the youtube "Month" Timelapse is going up this week.) 6/29/2021 - Fade on both plants coming in nicely. Purple and yellow on Carl 1, and a much darker color scheme on UKBS 1.

La segunda semana fue bien, a las plantas que estiraban más les causé Low Stress para mantener una altura igualada. De las 3 variedades que tengo, es la que antes ha mostrado las preflores. Un error vuelvo a repetir ha sido no tener medidor de EC-PH y otro ha sido el haberme excedido con los s riegos. Conecto pronto el CO2 a 630ppm par ver si así logro obtener un buen estiramiento esta semana. 📅 Día 15: 🔹 Mal día, elimino 2 machos y me quedo con mucho espacio libre en el armario. La próxima vez que ponga semillas regulares será en un armario doble o en exterior. De los errores se aprende, pero quería proner esta variedad tan exquisita. 📅 Día 16: 🔹 Riego según la tabla de nutrientes. Conecto CO2 a 700ppm. 📅 Día 17 : 🔹 Low Stress para que dé más luz a las ramas bajas y tengan más espacio para desarrollar. No quito hojas ya que creo que les quitas los paneles que las alimenta. El riego de ayer las sentó muy bien y están bebiendo el agua rápido por fin. 📅 Día 18:🔹 Descanso, puntualizar que he activado el CO2 a 730ppm y decir que se han bebido todo el agua, mañana toca riego. 📅 Día 19: 🔹Riego según la tabla de nutrientes. La EC me dio 2000 y el pH 6.3 📅 Dia 20:🔹Pequeño Low Stress. 📅 Dia 21🔹Sigo con el Low Stress, la próxima vez usaré pinzas para dirigir las ramas, será mucho menos agresivo y obtendré mejores resultados.

I'm gonna have to try this strain again as the pheno that I got was not 'The One'😞. It didn't display the really dark, desirable, coloration in the leaves and was EXTREMELY sensitive to nutrients and water amount! Hard as I could try I couldn't get her dialed in. She looks and smells amazing but she ended up much smaller than I expected and was not a big resin producer. Have to see how she smokes after a 4 week cure!😛 I did end up trying out a nug from a jar that was @ 58%RH. It was ROCK HARD, crystallized and smoked incredible! You can immediately feel it hit you right in the forehead, them moves through you with a tranquil relaxing stupor.
