Week 3: Vegetative Stage – Training, Defoliation, and Entering Full Flower The Apricot Autos have really taken off this week. I’ve been doing a little defoliation here and there, but over the course of training and tucking, I sometimes get a little heavy-handed and manage to break the odd leaf. Even with these occasional slips (you can see it in the pics), the plants are still shaping up nicely and getting huge, though not as much as my previous grow, which was also Fast Buds autos. By the end of the week, the plants have started to noticeably stretch, which I’m happy about since it makes them easier to train. At this stage, I like to train using mental pegs, gardening wire, and leaf tucking. I rarely remove any leaves until I have a clearer idea of the plant’s final shape, which did evolve quickly this week, prompting me to take action. On day 27, one of the plants is entering full flower, while the one with the misshapen leaf is a couple of days behind. The difference between the two is becoming less noticeable, although one is still bigger. Current Setup: Medium: 70/30 coco/perlite mix with Great White Mycorrhizae added during transplant Lights: DLI set to 22 Nutrients: Big Plant Science (introduced midweek) Despite breaking a leaf or two during training, both plants are progressing well, with flowering now fully underway.

Second week of flowering in the bag, and they’re all looking really healthy, even healthier than when I first threw them in the flower steady as she goes

Día 43 desde semilla y se ha comportado bien, pienso que el frío nocturno pueda haber afectado en la velocidad de su desarrollo, el siguiente riego lo haré agregando overdrive a la Mezcla para potenciar el engorde de flores, ha producido resina de un olor bastante peculiar con tonos dulces y algo parecido al perejil 🤷‍♂️🏽, el tono morado comienza a notarse desde el interior de las hojas.

A lo ultimo tuve una pequeña plaga de araña roja que pude mantener a raya cortando hojas afectadas, subiendo la humedad y bajando la temperatura... No voy a pesar en húmedo, cuando se sequen nomas... Luego de cosechar las The Ultimate pasare a revegetar ambas, espero que no muera antes jeje... Porque a las otras creo que le quedan mínimo 2 semanas más.

Another week of things going well! I dialed in my automated watering system by sealing the port where the 1/2in tube connects with the output outlet with an FDA approved silicone gel. Wanted to get the FDA sealant since anything else would leak chemicals into the watering reservoir. Tested and no leaks detected! I also found out that there are these sweet quick connectors you can get from Amazon. The nice thing about this is that it makes my watering system modular. I can disconnect the tube feeding into the tent by pushing the quick connect tab and addressing the bucket without dealing with tedious connects and disconnects. All I need to do when I’m ready to reconnect the bucket, I just push the line from the bucket into the quick connector. Additionally, I started using .25 ml (25%) of compost tea along with .25ml (25%) of silica. I think I will need to up the dose next week to 50% strength for both. I will do a transfer to the 1 gal pot in 2 weeks!

Auto Maxi Gom has been steadily making progress. She has started stretching, and is progressing more into flowering. I switched the feed over to blooming feed early week. I defoliated and did some lst. Everything is looking good, and nothing more to report at this time. Thank you Medic Grow. Started low stress training this week. Still doing every 2nd day nutrient feeding. Good growth so far. Let’s see how LST goes, only issue with LST is that plant keeps obviously growing towards sun. But I am monitoring it to check the angles it’s growing at.

Sticky Broccoli Auto — Week 5 Update Stage: Early Flower (Week 1) Grower: Stoney Stark / Little Lilly Farms ⸻ Growth Overview Week 5 marks the official transition into flower, and all four Sticky Broccoli autos are responding strongly. The two larger plants have entered an aggressive stretch phase, showing more sativa-leaning internodal expansion than expected for an indica-dominant cultivar. The two smaller plants remain shorter and bushier, expressing a more classic indica structure. Overall vigor is excellent across the tent. Leaf color is vibrant, stems are thickening rapidly, and there are no visible deficiency or toxicity symptoms. ⸻ What’s Happening This Week (Plant Physiology Breakdown) This week represents the flower initiation + stretch overlap, one of the most metabolically demanding phases of an auto: 1. Rapid Stretch (Hormonal Shift) • Plants are responding to increased flowering hormones (gibberellins and auxins) • Internode spacing is increasing rapidly on the larger phenos • Energy is being redirected toward vertical growth while flower sites are forming This explains why the two larger plants are stretching “harder” than expected, despite indica genetics. 2. Root Demand & Water Uptake Increase • Daily feeding to runoff is necessary because: • Root mass has expanded significantly • Transpiration rates are high due to stretch • Coco dries faster under increased metabolic load The initial underwatering sign on one larger plant (2/18) aligns perfectly with this surge in demand. 3. Nutrient Uptake Shift • Nitrogen demand is still present (for stretch), but tapering • Phosphorus and potassium uptake are ramping up • Enzyme activity and carbohydrate metabolism are increasing rapidly Your slight drop from ~1100 ppm to ~1000 ppm combined with consistent runoff resets kept the root zone perfectly balanced during this sensitive transition. 4. Long time no see. I was a little bit busy the last few days, but we‘re back and she‘s still looking healthy and well developed. I took the apex leafs two times in the last 6-8 days and gave her 2-3 days for recovery each time before i took the next pair of apex leafs. I think in the next few days i‘m gonna spread her wide open and the blooming begins.

Update February 4, 2019 (Video and Pics actually taken Feb 1). I’m figuring I’m about mid-way into flower now with the 6 girls I have flowering. Overall, I’m very happy with how things are going. The buds are coming in strong on all plants, they are stinky and sticky and I’m not complaining about anything really. But, I still see more yellow than I like. Last week I fed Recharge, Mammoth P, MegaCrop, and CalMag+. I don’t feed all of those at once, Recharge & Mammoth P one time, MegaCrop & CalMag+ the next, then the 3rd is usually straight water. I also seem to be able to go at least a day between waterings/feedings. Anyway, yellowing leaves during flower seems to be most common with a Nitrogen deficiency as far as I can tell. I’m tempted to feed in a round or two of veg nutes to see how that goes. One more thing… I transplanted my clones and seedlings into larger nursery pots today. They were transplanted into pots with soil that has been composting/recharging for almost a month now based on some of the tips from the books I have been reading. I’m excited to see how they react to their new environment.

Week 2 flower Day 1, Day 29 from seed. Bent her head just a little and removed a few leaf blockers! She got a tent all by herself. Smellin good now too, only one open stinking up the room! 🤤🤘 10-5 250ml 10-6 1/4 cup poo, 3 tbs buildaflower scoop of connect. 10-7 water, started a tea, 1/4 poo, kelp, yucca, cal/mag, recharge! Tried to keep it simple. 10-8 Day 34 Lovin her tea! Lst and defol, open her up a bit. Slight defol and used some clips. Fun with pictures! 😁🤘 10-9 Last day of the week! Her head and another branch took off enough for me to bend it! Was worried wasn't going to be able to. But we got her! Helped a ton!. After spacing her out, had to play musical tents! Blackberry is chunking out and dripping with resin , just feeding her up and letting her go . I should give her a defol the next few days for airflow as these flowers look to phat up . Same same next week

Day 91 - Getting very close to the end now. Some parts have been harvested already when I see an amber trichome. Those are in the dry net.
