On the 15/10 it was my fifth day in a row without any more signs of pollensacks or nanas! It really is worth the try is you think, you got something special on your hands. Cut immediately: 1 budsite on Forbidden Runtz, 2 on Green Crack. Damage contained for now thanks to eagle-eyed inspection. Daily mold patrols intensified. Just started the 12-12 with carbon load and this thing sprouts like crazy...

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. I think there’s been some sort of salt build up / nutrient lock. The lower leaves have been turning a lighter green and some even yellow on SL plants. Most stems are red. Seems like it’s a pH problem. I flushed them with 4-5 litres of water to reduce the nutrient concentration in the roots. Going to introduce molasses in next feeding! Organic Unsulphered And also stop the Micro (nitrogen)

Jan 4 - Had some high temps in the morning. Plant is growing with buds fattening. Less green on base of calyx' means there's probably less than a week to go. Some wilting occurring as senescence comes to an end. Jan 5 - Watered at 3.30PM. Calyx Trichomes still show clear. Defoliated two wilting leaves to provide better airflow for the next week. Jan 5 - HARVEST UPDATE (7 Days Drying) - First plant showed signs of first small branches snapping. I've snipped buds (with sugar leaves) into a jar to cure. I'll manicure once I ensure the humidity level is ideal. Jan 6 - 11.30PM Calyx' are finally showing amber, and quite a few! There's still clears, but this likely means harvest is close. Removed 1 wilting fan leaf. Jan 7 - 5.00AM Harvested remaining plant, removed fan leaves and left sugar leaves. Hang drying at 60F and 60%RH, will check on in a week. Jan 17 - Jarred both plants at 63%-64%RH. Dry weight for first plant 17.4g is and Second plant after trim is 25.9g. Total harvest is 43.3g dry.

Finally harvest time arrived 🤗 It’s been a great run, though I had to improve a lot along the way. But as usual there was a way to get things done and finished up😎 After a long heatwave I decided to chop the whole tent, just a bit before I actually wanted to. But I see amber trichomes and heavy buds, so I think it’s safe to chop now, so here we go. 🤩 Can’t wait to taste this after so long watching over it🤤 More details to come.

Did some more defoliation but keeping her going as she's wrapping up the stretch. Really starting to flower now, which took way longer than I expected. She's a late bloomer for sure, not the best for growing outdoors, this was a test seed though so I just kept her going. Amsterdam Genetics doesn't recommend this one for growing outdoors btw.

It was a heavy week! Topped and FIMmed my O.G’s, I have no clue if I even did it right since I just topped of the newest node. Gorilla’s seem to be taking a little longer, they are super nice and dense little bushes! Nice dark green tho! 👨‍🌾🏻 Dropped the light on them a few times and burned off a few leaves had to cut off pretty much 25% off a monkey but doesn’t seem to affect it at all.. 1 OG has clear ladyparts sticking out all over, it’s also by far the best grower out of the 8, hope the rest of the plants show some signs soon 😏 I’m impatient. * End of the week update Did lst and it looks like I stepped on my plants.. they are doing fine no worries it just looks terrible 🐘 The gorilla’s are looking beautiful! Dark green and lush! What do you guys think about the OG that’s already getting so many pistons did it start flowering already??
