June 28: it rained a fair bit in June which is good, of course, and it looks like nice warm cannabis weather for the next two weeks. There will be a lot of vegetative growth in the next two weeks. July 4: she is filling in nicely and will do fine despite having broken a stem. Patched up but it delayed development on that side. Anyway seems pretty even now so it should be good from here.

This week, the plants have shown strong growth, with nearly 10cm of height gained. Dominant branches are starting to emerge, though all the shoots are making their way towards the light. The plants are very thirsty, requiring more water, and I've removed a few side branches and shading leaves to improve airflow and light penetration.

At the moment, my FC 3000 is hard working but she'll be free in 7 days and will be added to these grows. For the moment I'm using a viparspectra at 45cm at 65% intensity. Using Green House Feeding for nutrients, biobizz light mix & all mix. For the moment they only on light mix but on the uppot in 7 or so days I'll add some All Mix. Every 2 weeks I'll add 1g/1L of Bioenhancer, and that's it. Real easy, will give me more time to work on the girls as they grow and not worry about what needs what, just water and go, depending I get the mixes right. Week 1, seedling day 3. All the girls done in Rock Wool showed roots down the end of the wool, all but 2, I could see in the hole that she was strangling herself, I carefully cut the wool in half, still no roots, so, I went in, and I'm glad I did. As you can see, she literally cut her own roots, it was dangling and came off with ease. Using gloves I held the stem over the 3/4 full wet pot of substrate. Made a small hole in the middle and placed the roots in it and held the stem and folded the dry soil around the stem making it secure. Now, there's no need to wet the top, (as the roots were in the base I made that was wet, so there is no wet soil around the stem. (I'm only thinking of it now, I have clonex gel that would of rapidly increased root growth and helped take some risk out of her not been able to make it) After a few days when I know she's out of danger I'll spray the top of the substrate to activate the nutrients and hopefully get some good mycelium/fungus going. I had a feeling this would happen, it happens a lot in soil but we don't notice it, and if I was using synthetic nutrients she more then likely would of grown out of the rock wool but as the roots need to be touching the soil as that's where the nutrients are it would of struggled. So needed to be done. Next few days will be do or die for this gal. She was stressed a lot and lost half of her tap. Let's see.(update below) Seedling D 3 was when she was uprooted from Rock wool and transplanted with cut roots, D5 you can see her, 1 of her cotyledons has turned pale, so she did struggle to find her footing, but she is doing well. The other WatermZXVelvet moon that was was done with rockwool is in much better shape, have a look. The nutrients are mixed into the soil and you just water every time she needs it, the bioenhacer needs to be given once every 2 weeks. I mixed 3g/1L of substrate. As she gets older when I uppot her I'll add extra powder per/L of sub and I'll also be introducing some biobizz all mix. I just want to get going on some good fungus action and if I added some all mix I wouldn't of been able to add enough powder to get mycelium/fungus going, this is healthy and good. You'll see it when you use root stims, it'll make stuff fuzzy, mycelium. Good fungus that will decay with organic matter and make for a good bacteria ground for your gals. Seedling Day 5 We have fungus lift off, she out of the woods after Harsh transplant if you haven't read about above. Seedling Day 5-7 Okay steady normal growth. I can just see the next set of nodes to up come. So she's on track for normal growth. Her sister though, is miles ahead. 2moro is a new week, so now that the RH/TEMPERATURE is dialed in I'm hoping I'll see explosive growth. Die Woche ist sehr gut verlaufen ich dachte eigentlich sie stirbt aber sie hat sich sehr gut erholt nach dem ich die Nematoden hinzugefügt habe man kann es gut erkennen da wo ich getoppt hab kommen und zwei weitere Köpfe und die neuen Blätter die wachsen sind wieder schön grün und saftig Sie ist nun auch in der zweiten Blüte Woche beziehungsweise der elfte Tag dann schauen wir mal wie es weitergeht.

22/11/21 thanks to the grow diary community realised there was a slight over watering issue and nitrogen toxicity. Have lowered the bio grow to 0.5ml per litre and introduced 0.5ml bio bloom as will start flowering period next week. defoliated the plants on the bottom branches to promote growth of the higher ones. Will now only water once every 3 days not every other day. 350ml of filtered water. - Lights are at 80% brightness for final week of veg. 25/11/21 defoliated largest fan leaves near the base of the plants - bud sites are appearing in light green

Gelato-K By Kannabia Seeds Week #19 March 15th-22nd Week #8 of Flower About 4 weeks left. She continues to stack and swell her buds are cover in trichomes.

Future 1 was a joy to grow , solid yield of 2 feet long dense buds . She didn’t need much defoliation and handled extremely high temps during a heat wave in her stride. The bits that I’ve smoked already are real mango fruity and ridiculously strong . Very happy with the finished product.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I hope to make this an interesting and informative run and welcome any comments , advice/questions or general chatter as we go along. I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .

This week was busy.. feeding, training, defoliation, trying to figure out how I was going to handle the branches now that they're outside of the bag. This is what happens when you wing it. Worked out well though!

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked.
