Hum wondering if plant won't get to big and if my LST is wrong

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Smooth week plants very healthy. Leaves keep growing. I plucked as needed. Branches are like steel. Strong as can be. Stacking nicely. Very happy with this plant.

These gals are growing fast however I think I should have fed them more calmag this week. Their feeding week 6 will be heavy calmag and I will be bringing up the bloom nutes.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperatures of 79° and skies were mostly cloudy. The lows at night have begun to drop below 60°F. It has been extremely humid with tons of dew in the morning. I'll continue to defoliate and spray with biofungicide to get this powdery mildew under control. Day 2 we had early morning rain followed by mostly cloudy skies. High temperature was 77. The rain took care of the watering today. I'm treating with arber again and more defoliation. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 81°F, skies were partly cloudy, and I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 83° with sunny skies. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I treated with Arber. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 88°F. Skies were clear and sunny. The humidity was around 90% today. I watered 4-5 gallons from the well. I finally got most of the infected leaves off and have one more plant to do tomorrow. I treated with Arber again today. Day 6 we had high temperature of 89°F. Skies were sunny. I watered about 4-5 gallons with well water. I've been treating these with Arber biofungicide but it's hasn't had much affect. I stripped all the infected leaves and lollipoped two today. I'll get the third tomorrow. I'll treat these tomorrow with growers ally fungicide and see if they can be saved. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F with partly cloudy skies. We're expecting rain tonight and it's super humid today. The weather is not cooperating while I'm treating for powdery mildew. This week was a success. The plants gained on average 6 inches in height. They've slowed down their upward growth and are transitioning into flower. The weather has been atrocious for cannabis. These girls are super healthy but the humidity and cool nights have caused perfect conditions for powdery mildew. I began treatment with Arber biofungicide, but it wasn't doing much. I lollipoped and defolated heavy on two of the plant and finished the third after photos on day 7. The non infected leaves are responding ok to the Arber. I'm switching now and will treat late day 7 with Growers Ally fungicide. I defolated pretty heavy, but I expect a full recovery and increased production as there will be more light penetration.

The Blackberry Moonrocks are looking great. They're definitely the healthiest plants in the whole tent. I might have gotten a little carried away with the nutrients, so the leaves are a bit funky right now, but they're still going strong. I'm excited to see how they do in the next few weeks. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

She looks much better than a few weeks ago as she suffered too much of a drought but she is steady recovering. The double kush cake continues to grow with short nodal spacing. She is receiving around 500 ml of water every other day, stands at 25cm from the soi

Love every plant each one is growing differently stacking different even the visual difference of one strain growin two different ways combined smells of diesel, pez candy and lemons

Almost finished. A few more weeks to go. Just bulking up now. They are smelling realllllly strong. I love the way they smell growing organically. Nothing else like it. No more feeding these girls just watering every few days until harvest. Might try the molasses trick if anyone has had experience with it let me know in the comments. I'd love some feedback on how to do it or if its even beneficial at all. Thanks for following!

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Starting to get close to the finish line now! Light is at 100% and they are stacking really nice! Can’t wait to see the final product! I’m really like the Cronk Grow nutrients. After trying Fast Bud Genetics for the first time, they are the only auto flower I will grow moving forward.

Plant is growing well. Transplanted them from a 1 gallon pot into a 3 gallon pot this week.

Just keeping the temps correct is always a challenge in certain indoor grow areas but a tube heater seems perfect. Fan heaters should never be used as they ruin the flavours of the final product. I used a very small fan heater in my first run (obviously not blowing at my plants) but they are too aggressive in heating the air in my opinion and results in on off operation causing fluctuations in temperature. I have purchased a cylinder ceramic heater that does the job perfectly. I know that the temperature in the tent will always be in the good zone.
