This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Zamnesia Mango Kush. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Miss Zamnesia Mango Kush growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Miracle Grow needs to remain for garden vegetables and flowers NOT cannibas. As a result, I have made an Executive Decision and will going add some @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the remainder this grow. I don't have a lot to report this week except my outside grows are tall and lanky plants. My last video shows you all 3 of my outside grows and they are all tall and lanky. Beautiful plant. I'm switching the light cycle now 12/12

The girls have been growing at a very fast pace. I was out of town from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. When I came back and opened the tent I was blown away by the progress. Today I am going to go and buy some (22/06/2020) garden wire and start Low Stress Training, I'm a bit nervous but it seems like the best thing to do for the girls. Its exciting times... They are growing at a very fast pace but at the same time it feels like time is not moving along fast enough :) LST started... hopefully its done correctly :)

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Fast flowering monster that delivers on extreme levels of frost and terp profiles. Don't believe? Pictures show it all. Die Umstellung auf 12/12 schlägt voll ein und leitet eine dynamische Vorblütephase ein. Die Pflanze hat keine Zeit verloren und zeigt bereits nach knapp einer Woche die ersten feinen Pistillen an den Internodien. Der Stretch zeigt sich hier ausgesprochen vital und schiebt das Höhenwachstum spürbar an; lediglich ein einzelner Haupttrieb tanzt mit etwas mehr Längenwachstum leicht aus der Reihe, während das restliche Kronenbild erfreulich stabil und homogen mitzieht. Das Gewebe steht absolut gesund und satt im Saft, die Nährstoffverarbeitung läuft auf Hochtouren und die Lady baut ein kraftvolles Gerüst auf, um die anstehenden Blütenstände in den kommenden Wochen perfekt zu tragen.

These ladies are doing their thang! One week since sprout. Had to move them to cups to support the stem as they were flopping. Placed a fan for circulation to try and get some strength in them. First feed at the end of week one. Went with half dose of the 1EC measurement as per Pro Line chart.

Hello y’all 👋🏼 Sorry growmies, I was stuck in trim jail and totally forgot to post an update here! We are already done✅‼️ This was an incredible run with all of you. Sadly, I can’t cure the whole harvest because we can only legally have 100g at home. So, I only dried the best buds(around 96g dry) — just the top-shelf buds from the top of the canopy. 🤤🤤🤤 I put the rest of the harvest in the freezer and then separated the trichomes using vibration and micron screens into planty of drysift for my vaporizer at least so I don’t need to dumb the rest of the harvest. It’s a shame I have to do it this way in my country, because this Banana Punch has so much more potential! Happy growing, growmies!

Just fed water for the last week, had to dry in a drying rack due to lack of space. Nice flowers. Both plants look very similar but both smell different to each other. Both smell nice. Will update.

The notes are amazing for the lady in to dry, lemon, sugary sweet, doughy, blueberry. Unfortunately id say I did lose a lil terps etc from budwashing but with how much shit came off it i think I'll continue to budwas, I wouldn't go 1/2 again, id definitely do 1/4 if i were to do it again. #2 still has like a week or two to go till I pull, I think I'm going to leave her for a little longer All additives and nutrients are organic

So, absolutely against the recommendation I received from a friend of mine who's been growing for 20+ years, I pruned/defoliated my plants up a bit this week. I decided to for a few reasons. - the plants were really dense with foliage, many leaves overlapping and pushing other leaves - most of the bud sites were shaded under several layers of leaves - the leaves pilling up would have been restricting airflow quite a lot, I want to prevent budrot or mold by increasing aeration - I wanted to control where the plants were growing, and focus their energy into the buds - with this being an outdoor grow late in the season with less sun I felt it was more important to expose the developing buds to the sun With all that said, I think my plants have responded extremely well to the pruning in the last few days. I've never pruned or defoliated before so this is going to serve as a test for me. I like doing new things and seeing what happens. No matter what, these plants look really good right now and I'm sure I'll get a decent harvest, I'm trying to push it from decent to fantastic. My PPM is a bit high, though none of the plants look like they're being hindered by it. I did a partial water change on 2 of the 3 (the one in the 3 gallon bucket and the one that looks more like and indica). The 3 gallon bucket plant was at a PPM of 5000ish so I made sure to get it more in line with the other two, and with the partial water change I got it to around 2000. The other plants are sitting at right about 3000. I will continue to monitor the plants and check PPM, if it doesn't go down next week I think I'll do another partial water change. I want to keep pumping in nutrient while preventing any burn or lockout. Trichomes are no observable on the two plants in larger buckets. The smaller bucket plant was the last to sprout, so it's about a week or two behind the others. This week has been pretty poor weather where I'm at. Lots of rain and clouds. I've kept the plants under cover but still in direct sunlight. This coming week is supposed to be clear sky again so I'll move them to capture the most light once the rain stops. I know defoliation is debatable, especially with outdoor grows, but I like to push boundaries. Here's a list of the things I've done with this grow: - kratky method hydroponics (other than a partial water change I have added no water since starting in buckets, no airstone, no pump) - Winter grow (shortest light period of the year here) - Topping (and it looks like one is more like FIMing, also one grew as if it were topped without my input) - Dense nutrient load (I've added more nutrient in this grow than any grow I have previously done. Mostly because I never achieved super large buds and I'm really aiming for that this time) - Water change (like an aquarium, I've never done a water change other than flush before, this week called for it with the high PPM which I think was residual from nutrient loading in veg so I wanted to make sure there's room for the flower nutes) - Defoliation/pruning (nothing too crazy or drastic, started this week and don't plan to trim again unless I see a need to)

Auto pots are on. Reservoir is at EC 2.2 and ph 5.5 added 1ml/L of calmag on day 19.
