Yo community! A friend of mine just started a Legal Grow in Germany with his roomate under my Supervision, as it is now Legal to grow in Germany. So I thought about documenting this grow. I've been growing for long time now, but my buddy Bili is a complete newbee at this stuff. I am positive that this "is gonna be huge". We plan on growing 6 plants. Bili is gonna be growing 3 and his roomate also 3 plants. Of course Bili will only care for his own 3 plants and his rommate for the other 3 as it is regulated like that by law. It is Germany where everything has to be like this apparently. lol. This grow will be 2-3 Weeks indoors 51w with low cost 3x17 Watts 4000 k LED Bulbs. (3€ each) Those produce 2500 lumens each, about 147 lm/W 1.45 l pots for the first few weeks indoors. The plants will then go into 5l pots on the window sill until harvest. faced to the south. So far the seeds have been placed into water over night. tomorrow we will put them into the soil. They are all Automatics. Day 2: seeds soaked over night. about 16 hours. The Gelato are already opening their shells.. The others are still closed. All sinked to the bottom over night. We are now planting them into the Soil.:) We soaked 9 seeds. 3x O.B. 4x Kryptonite and 2x Gelato. After cutting the dome off the lamps and counting the LED's (81) it looks like these are 0.21w SMD 31lm per LED (manufacturer says 147lm/w). for bulbs really good little LED's. looks like these are cree 2835 J series or similar types. there are cree 4000k J types that are exactly 31lm wich would be exactly what each LED should produce. (2500/81). Plant in Soil Date was 05 june. 14:00 Today, 2 Days and 10 hours, (58 hours) after planting in soil The 2 Gelatos came to life:) and one Kryptonite basically 3 full days including soaking time. 08.06 at 1:30 is the beginning of VEG Day one We will give them 24 hours light. day 5 after waterglass. Berries still no sign of life. lamp is at 30 cm distance. no signs of stretching. At Day 5 Veg we located the berry seeds and put them into paper towel, cracked them open and scraped the shell. we have enough plants now but nothing to choose from in case a plant has weak genes. So we hope a few berries will make it. probably old Seeds.

Another very happy week around here with my girls getting fat, showing their potential. I kept the amount of fertilizer at 6ml per liter and the temperature inside the greenhouse continues without interfering the evolution. Very happy, satisfied with the results so far

Just bending some branches and taking out a couple leaves. This plant is insanely vigorous its making the other plants jealous 😆 Can't wait to see how big the nugs get definitely some good genetics in these RF3. Happy growing 🌴

Day 14 and the Cali snow is growing pretty well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. 6/26 Rained last night. Might have showers bur the sky is clear. Real good weather coming. I need to transplant those seedlings. Plants are noticeably bigger every day. I see small spits of damage but it's isolated and in a high wind area. I'll address it and watch for nute deficiencies. Also need to transplant those seedlings. At leastcones an auto. 6/27 Rained overnight again. Looks clear today but we did get some rain yesterday. Tomorrow is all sun. I'm planning to transplant those 3 seedlings today. Also noticed some ragged holes so I've got a few pests. Looks like grasshoppers or something. With all the rain could be slugs or pillars I guess. Need to get ipm up amd running. I've got work to do. Found a plant on my gmo in the 30 bag. It got sun burnt and wind burnt but came out of it and they're all doing great. At first this one was a little behind after transplant but so were the other gmo's. Originally, it was one of my best plant prior to transplant outdoors. That one leaf I found during a thorough inspection of the garden. I'm hoping it's not tmv. Plants growing vigorously and better than but I'll keep an eye on it. I also transplanted the 3 seedlings. I added half new 707 in the 50 (prior soil was this same mix from last year) and transplanted one in that. One in a 10 gallon bag and the auto in a 5 gallon bucket. It will be interesting ingredients seeing how they turn out. All transplants went really smooth. 6/28 It's gonna be a hot one today. I haven't watered in over a week due to rain. Wind was whipping this morning! Looked like plants MIGHTVE been drooping but now that I think about it it was probably just the wind. ANYWAY I WATERED TWO AND A HALF GALLONS on the clones. That wind dries the bags out fast. Some still had some heft to them. Lately I've been going by my intuition which has seemed to be on point. All the seedling transplants look good and show no signs of stress. 6/29 The site was down so I couldn't update. Looks like it's gonna rain. It's noontime. This morning i found and killed two inch worms. There's not much damage so I'm wondering whether bt is necessary. Birds sit on the frame and dart I'm and grab them. I'll have to think on it. I also need to decide what I'm going to use for nutes this year. Don't need it yet. GMO's and sherb pie is putting out pistols everywhere. Same with the event horizon. Looks like I may have an early harvest this year. I certainly hope so. Still.....only did half what I did last year but with everything going on its all I can handle. 6/30 Site was down and it doesn't want to pet me upload my pictures 7/1 Trying to keep this updated. Need to spray bt. I'm seeing some damage. Not much but I need to get a handle on it now. Poured yesterday. Super sunny today. Plants seem to be flowering early this year while I still have a 2 seedlings that haven't shown their sex yet (they are fems but still). The clones are beginning to flower it looks like so I may have an early harvest this year. 7/2 WATERED THE GARDEN WITH 4 GALLONS. Spent some time looking over the plants and decided to hold off on the bt seeing as there isn't much damage. I spoke to a few shop owners and after seeing my garden this wad their advice as well. While watering I noticed red ants coming out of the soil of my GMO in the 30 gal. Some of these strains will be early finishers. The only time I've had stigmas like tjis was when I grew mendo breath and that was a super early harvest. Either way things are looking fantastic. The auto seedling finally showed a stigma. One seedling left (they should ALL be females) but I cant tell by the preflower yet. It looks female but I need to see that little white hair emerge to be sure.

Sooooooo many hairs I am truly a kid in a candy shop right now. Introduced small amounts of Big Bud to my babies next week and transplanting to 5 Gallon fabric planters 💚

Whats up yall! We're here at the end of week 6 in flower! Some rearranging and formula shifts have occured as we head into the final push of flower. 7 plants are being fed 3.6/1.5/1.5/0 part B while the others continue the Jacks full strength plus 1.2 MKP. I have also began giving recharge and molasses to the plants every 10 days instead of 21 - I've read/watched/listened to some people and it sounds like more microbes can be good and at worst, not harmful. At this time, GDP seems to be first up with Platinum OG or Purest Indica on deck. Permanent Marker and Bag Seed [to be named] should be next and finally Pineapple Express #3. They're all at least 2 weeks away from harvest/flush and I will be monitoring trichome development closely to determine a target harvest day. The remaining 5 need closer to 4+ weeks before they're ready to be chopped. Things are looking good and are moving along very steadily! I cannot wait for the end of the month!
