Today on day 17 from date of birth Iam preparing a worm casting tea. In a cheese cloth bag ,Made up of 2 cups of worm castings 2 tablespoons of unsulfured molasses,2 tablespoons of mineralized phosphate (bat shit) ,2 tablespoons of soluble seaweed extract . 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 2 tablespoons of all purpose 4-4-4 all Gia green products other than. I also sprinkled in some great white premium mycorrhizae inton2 gallons of water. Tea will brew for 24 hours before applying.

So she got hit with some fricken bugs pretty bad and I tried combating them and in doing so I ended up stunting her quite a bit or I think my buds would be 2x the size. Thats alright though I should still end up with a good amount of golf ball sized buds. They really started packing on the trichomes since I moved her into a much sunnier area so I think the quality will catch up just not the size. All in all I'm happy that I am going to at least get her to harvest!! I will be using neem seed and some other biological methods next season so I won't have to spray any of my plants with any pesticides or fungicides. The ones I saturated with flower shield and organishield didn't like it very much and it ended up stunting them for up to 3 weeks which really sucks considering I'm gone on for the next 2 weeks and will need to pull everything before I leave whereas if they hadn't of got stunted It would have been in the exact time frame I needed them to be before I leave....sigh

Me encanto esta semana, gran avance en las 2 Gorilla Rainbow y gran avance tmb en las 2 White Gorilla. BSF Seeds sin duda está haciendo un gran trabajo… Se les hizo más podas apicales y defoliación, y reaccionaron perfecto. The first week after the flip. What I have been working on is bringing Gelato's soil pH up. Gelato was given water at 6.5 pH and the run off was measuring 5 pH (yikes.) After flushing with 3 gallons of water at 8 pH, the soil pH was still measuring 5 pH. The reaction the plant had tho after the flush was positive, which is to say, no more burning or yellowing leaf tips 5 days post flush. Sour Diesel and Do Si Dos were fed VEG nutrients at 50% strength ( 1.5 tsp Big Bloom and 1.5 tsp Grow Big.) and the pH of the liquid was 6.5. Everyone is looking good. Because it is only the first week of flower, "the stretch" is yet to be seen.

Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music video's 5th March 2020 Flowering Begins ....................................... My little creation is officially Flowering folks!! After stretching upwards about 30cm all tips are developing little Budlets. I started to see minor signs of Nitrogen deficiency from a coupleof bottom leaves that suddenly began to yellow. This is fairly normal as the plant would have needed as much (nitrogen) as it could get doing all that stretching. I needed to feed half strength grow nutes ( professors nutrients) @1ml/L three times during the last 7 days. Now that the stretch seems to have slowed right down I will start to add some Dr Greenthumbs Bud n Bloom mix ( aprox qtr of a cup). The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Sure are stinking the place up now ! Unbelievable. Still maturing nicely buds arnt supper tight on one on the left the right side is looking better. But still a week or so yet I would say one will be done a week or so before the other also. All in all things are looking good.

Fun grow, treated each plant with a different growing techniques - Fim, Top, Lst, super-cropping, etc. Surprised on yield using basic $130.00 Bestva. Dry weight over 1/3 of a pound. They hung for 5 days. I put time into flushing and Trichome viewing, willing to sacrifice THC content for a more energetic medicine. I nailed the harvest based off of partly/mostly cloudy trichs(pic above). The weed is gas, top-shelve, better than the 21.5% thca GC I purchase through dispensary. Very, Very pleased with results. Biggest mistakes made on this grow: 1) 2 initial pots too small for 10 week veg requiring a tricky late veg transplant. 2) not using cal/mag in mid Veg. 3) allowing humidity to drop too low while drying buds in tent - final product is a little brittle.

Das Substrat ist nach heftigen Regenfällen vollgesaugt aber dennoch gut belüftet. Die Blätter sehen etwas mitgenommen aus, keine Ahnung was das ist. Es stürmt, sie brauchte etwas halt und überstand diese Woche ohne ein nächtliches Glasdach über dem Kopf.

Day 8 Flower Hi growers, the end of week one has arrived. The plants seem to be happy. They’re starting to shoot up, new growth has that light green color, old growth is still dark green. I fed with Remo transition feed and and added green planet rezin. I think I may have been under watering as I realized there’s way more than 20% perlite…maybe closer to 45%. I’m going to start watering every 2 days, more coco style rather than soil with a dry back like I normally do. I think that could be the reason for the slower growth in veg regardless of light height and intensity with optimum environment and vpd. I was going to weave the new growth into the open squares, but historically it has caused those tops to be shorter at the end. So if they grow tall, I’ll add another level of trellis net and fill the squares of the upper net. Until then I’m just tucking the leaves on this very leafy plant. Heavy Defo will be on day 14. She has got a stank to her already. When watered or manipulated she has this skunky sour smell that I’m already intrigued by. Still have 2 months and 1 month of cure to wait ugh…..patience 👎🏻 I am having a bit of difficulty dialing in the Vipar Spectra XS2000. It seems very powerful for my setup especially in veg, I’ll try 50% in veg next time. You can see how stacked the buds are in the pics. I’ve raised it up 6” from the top of the tent to hopefully get some stretch. It’s heat output is good at keeping my tent at 77-81 at 100%. I am very interested to see how it grows the FastBuds autos once the SLH is done. That tent will have the XS2000, FastBuds Autos grown with Gaia Green Organics.
