Week 12: Tangie Finish Line in sight Today, I checked Tangie’s trichomes and noticed that 20% have already turned amber. This signals that it’s time for a flush. I’m using pH-balanced water (pH 6) with an EC of just 0.092 ms/cm due to my extremely soft water. My goal is to stress Tangie a bit in these final days to boost trichome production. I plan to remove some fan leaves two days before harvest and let the soil dry out slightly. She has about 4-5 more days to go. The aroma has become incredibly strong, with a vibrant, fruity scent dominating the air. It’s amazing how much more potent this smell is compared to the pre-harvested buds, which are now in the curing process and beginning to release that delightful orange and citrus fragrance. I’m eager to compare the flavor, potency, and high between the early and late harvests. The finish line is definitely in sight and I'm happy that I could let her ripen entirely to she what she is capable of 😍 Update 17.08 (Day 82) Today I decided to finally harvest the rest of this lovely Tangie. The trichomes showed a good mix of amber and cloudy trichomes, and I don't want to risk letting her overripen. I opted to cut only the fan leaves again to ensure a slow and consistent drying process. Autos are doing alright this week. Very low RH has kept them from being their best selves. No worries, early season growing suck, and this years faults will be next years improvements. Well it's finally time to cut her down. It's day 95 post germination for this lady, and she's at maximum potency. All trichomes are cloudy with about 5-10% amber & she's giving out a mixed palet of aromas. I can smell a very distinct mix of lemon, urea, skunk, and spice. It was relatively easy plant to grow. I started in a super soul which ran out of nutrients early and I had to supplement with bottled nutrients. Going forward I'm going to have to put more thought into my initial soil composition. Please note: I'm only estimating the 'Wet Bud Weight'; for the purposes of this diary I estimated 12-16 ounces. Cannabis can loose up to 75% of its mass during the drying phase and based on past experience, I am expecting 4-6 ounces of finished flower. Dry/cure process: 1. Cut entire plant down by main stock 2 hang upside down in a dark room with controlled humidty and temps.... - Temperature should range from 67-72 °F, and my humidity will range between 57-60%. 3. Full trim complete after 8-11 days of drying. 4. Stick in Mason jars indefinitely with 2-way Boveda humidty packs (62%). 4-20. Well, it looks as if one of the 3 plants is a male. I live in denial for one more day and then I toss it. Not sure which plant it is, as I painted over the strain names when I painted the cups grey. Smooth. So I will find out soon. Otherwise, good weather and some good growth. Roots are balled up at the bottom of the dutch bucket reservoir, Im sure, because I let the drip go dry for a day or two and the plants were droopin (coco)

Day 50 since Germaniation. Genetics are really nice and strong. Even against high amounts of nutritions. Rqs never disappoints but this genetics i like the most so far. Cant wait to see the result

Went 60 days into flower could have possibly went longer but I felt like it’s where I wanted it to be also just couldn’t wait any longer. Overall great grow a lot of challenges but with the help of this site and my own research I’m happy with the results. I will weigh after drying and trimming
