Day 42: defoliation and single LST for all plants to get 4 stems each. DOS 3 1 stem broken from topping. The main stems are very thin. I use this week 2 times 3L water with 1.5 ml/L terra vega. The humidity is a bit high because of storm outside. I change light HPS 400W to prepare for next week flo. Day 44: Plants look better, put them to flowering stage under HPS 400 W

Start of second week. Everything is going ok. Getting used to coco. Watering every day, getting about 10-20% runoff. No signs of problems on plant, seems to be healthy and happy. Getting about 10-20% runoff. Day 8 - 500ml with nutrients. Day 9 - 750ml with nutrients. Day 10 - 600ml water. Day 11 - 750ml with nutrients. Day 12 - 750ml with nutrients. Day 13 - 1L 250ml with nutrients. Day 14 - 1.5L with nutrients. Peace.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Topped at the 3rd node and mainlined. She went 102 days from sprout and has some dense and resin filled buds. Her smell and appearance have my mouth watering. I can't wait to try this out. 0

plant has been very easy to grow the smell is very strong seems to have a week to go. The plant seems to have a very big buds all over their branches and it is maturing at a very high rate of speed the smell is to die for but you got to keep an eye on the flowering stretch because it's quite large for the those who have small spaces now I'm growing in a tent 3 by 3 foot by 8 foot so they don't have much space to stretch and become monster in my tent everybody's fighting for light and space so if this is grow outdoors with a Canadian long hours of light in the summer and a little bit of vegetable grows indoors maybe two months it will become a truly huge plant in the outdoors the grower only needs to protect the plant so it doesn't get stressed out and doesn't had more weeks to outdoor grow ,for sure for the 1st of October you should have a decent amount high quality flower. I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

So.. She's now just over 12 weeks old with 8 weeks flower and 4 veg, I did the last feed on Friday just gone, and will now flush for a week+ up until she starts showing me Amber's, I AM NOT CUTTING HER EARLY I know she's a sativa dominant but, there is Indica genes in there somewhere and I would like around 10-20% Amber if possible, it is going to be a precarious balancing act between prime potency, amber and degradation of the plant as its been around for a long time she's going to go over DP timing cycle by about 5 weeks haha, As soon as I see Amber's appearing I am going to give it about 36hrs as normal then whack it in the dark for 24hrs (everyone seems to do it so I will try with this one then do two the next time with the same strain put one in the dark and one not and see if there is any difference, I am thinking that there is now about 1to2 weeks left before harvest (I know I said that last week aha) but what do I know, hmhm So looking forward to seeing what she's like, I have put so much care love and attention into making her the best she could be and not stressing her, and has received very little stress, a bit of burn on the tips of leaves (bout 4 weeks ago appeared overnight, cut down food and it seemed to fix. The issue) and the heat for the last week and a half or so crept up to about 31 ish all the time at night aswell, but I was running about trying to keep her cool and moist, well it seemed to have paid off as there is very very minimal foxtailing on 2 of the bud sites the majority remain prestine, I would really appreciate a few guesses as to harvest weight (dry) I could expect, (I won't hold anyone to there word, I know it's an educated guess, haha), Sorry about the missed weeks and lack of quality pictures, I will endeavour to make up for that with a good final post and roundup 👍👍 Thanks for poking your head in, Please remember to close the door when you leave 😜

Day 43-Im waiting just a little longer to flower because she's in my veg tent with no room in my flower tent. If I wait another week or so I can switch this VEG tent into flowering lights. She is a beat! I started to defoliate the inner leaves and did some minor LST my twisty tying the main stocks to the cage. I wanted to "open" her up and get the small branches some light to grow during this veg period. Having a lot of fun with this plantl so far! Day 44-2 feet tall as of today 💪. she has surpassed her step sister(bag seed rando that's actually a phenomenal plant) even with multiple toppings. She is a true work horse IMO. I have 2 very healthy clones taken from her and I am planning on taking 2 more for mothers . Excited to keep her genetics alive to possible breed with this summer. I picked up some original NL#5xHaze seeds from swami I want to breed with this cheese. would be crazy. Day 46- Found a cool branch with three new bud sites coming from one node which was a first for me! Fed with NFTG mid veg feed, recharge, and Mammoth P. Defoliated a few more leaves that I thought blocked light to much from getting to the under growth. I want to focus on growing out the middle of the plant for one more week before throwing it into flower.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 31/07/23 Everything seems to be going really well even though I haven't added nutriments. I'm planning to use LST on plants 2, 3, and 4 this week, hoping not to mess anything up. I'll have to buy a dehumidifier too because it's very humid at my place right now, and I can't get the humidity level below 65% 01/08/23 I started the LST but only on 2 and 3, and I have no idea if I did it well, but I'm quite happy with the result. 02/08/2023 I have cut some leaves, especially on numbers 2 and 3, so that the little heads are no longer in the shade but directly in the light and I haven't touched number 1, I don't plan to touch it until the end.

Day 1 - LST mostly. Will start using bloom nutrients this week. And reduce humidity to 60-55% Learnt from my last batch that 24hr light is best,
