August 17th. 64 days post flip. Plants growing very well. Still moving buds out from under the viparspectra every couple days. The one pot with two plants in in require watering every two days too avoid drying out. Buds are still growing new pistals. I have some browning of pistals which is concerning as it looks like it’s pollinated but I believe that is part of these sativas. At this point I believe I have about 60 days left. I also believe flowering is really just beginning. And we will see these buds fattening here shortly. I added in one of my larger fans from the automatic tent, wanted to increase airflow at this stage. I also removed some of the lower buds that were getting dirty when I watered. Parents: Growing very well. Simply going to continue watering every day or two. I have 1.5 cubic feet of elite living soil coming as I’m upgrading the auto tent from a 15 to a 30 gallon which will give me some extra soil to give these gals and guy. Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

Constant LST on these girls. They are so leggy I'm worried that if I let up the canopies will get out of control. I feel like i'm doing a good job with it thought. The occasional super cropping is needed and I leaf tuck and even take leaves almost everyday. Doesn't seem to slow em' down. Lights are at about 75% now. Weather has calmed down so temperature in the tent is consistently below 80F. Happened just in time for mid-flower. Right before the weather changed I build an exhaust to vent everything outside so controlling the atmosphere is a lot easier and I think it shows. Switched to bloom nutes towards the end of this week. Miracle Berry Remix IMMEDIATELY perked up and stopping being droopy all the time. CDLC woke up and I'm really happy with her now. Phosphorous is really important once pre-flower begins. Getting impatient....gonna pop some Double Grapes for the Solo Cup competition. Lowering my PH to 5.5 - 5.7 to accomodate for any salt build up in the coir since they drink water so quickly. Their response was very good. CDLC loved the drop in PH the most I believe. I cut my veg nutrients (nitrogen) to half because they aren't in full flower but i'm giving them full doses of the Maxibloom and additives. I've learned that most chlorosis I am experiencing is a nutrient deficiency. PH and increasing PPM steadily is a MUST to be successful I believe. Potassium is what generally causes the "nutrient burn". You'll catch nitrogen toxicity before any chlorosis and phosphorous is really difficult to give your plant too much of. Especially in flower. I'm gettin' the hang of this.... If anyone could answer me this....Why would you use a feeding schedule when your plant is going to require different nutrients than any other plants? There are too many variable to use a feeding schedule correct? Really not much to see this week besides the plants bulking up. They are gorgeous...except for the CDLC...she's got some work to do. Day 49 - Watered with some whacked out PH water today...didn't catch it until it was too late. Mango Smile was dropping by the end of watering...hopefully I didn't stall anyone out. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Buds are getting swollen, smells somewhat like pine trees.

Ho laciato le piante crescere con un Lst applicato un po in ritardo, ma entrambe le piante hanno reagito benissimo e formato delle belle chiome a cespuglio. Profumo tendente al dolce, note di lavanda ed erbe aromatiche, una delle 2 in fase avanzata di fioritura profumava di ananas maturo, semplicemente uno spettacolo! La resa sembra buona, le cime sono di ottima qualita, aggiornerò con peso tra poche settimane!

Day: 9 I'm considering replacing a cpl of these with different seeds. They are already behind schedule-1 OG Kush and the Gorilla Girl. Any tips varigation on leaves? I just gave them there first feeding of Big Buds and Blooms (N5) after the 24 hour Superthrive wait period. Both Superthrive and NPPK were used at 1/4th the strength called for on the lable. Nighty Night girls. Going to bed wet is not ideal but they needed a full watering bad..hoping I didn't over water (purified water) Some of the soil just does not seem to get wet in these pots. weak leggy blackberry kush has some wind tonite. Hoping to boost stem strength. they are trying to fall over from the weight. Day 10: made little stakes from coated wire. Repositioned the Gorilla Girl for a third time. You can see that part of the stem looks white from being underground. Still gonna give it a little more time. Otherwise, all are seemingly fine after first feeding. Day 11: applied SuperThrive and my Gorilla Girl turned yellow for a few hours. Glad she is resilient!!! Day 12 thru 20. So my PH meter was wrong and I have been watering with 9+ water for the first 2 weeks. i had 2 ph meters in case this happened but one is for soil...new grower mistake. So...I've lost precious time on my aotos and my gorilla girl is ...lord help meh..she don't look too good. All are alive in spite of my noobness. I'll post some pics that should have a disclaimer stating this is not what your plants should look like at 20 days in. Also had to transplant into non-waxlined pots. This is not the best experience to show publicly but new growers can maybe learn from my mistakes.

the cutting time has arrived!! It's time to taste it, it smells really good, but not at all like the fresh plant, I'm a little disappointed.. after drying and curing, the variety smells like bananas, very ripe yellow fruit, with an earthy and sweet background!! it's very round in the mouth, very sweet and resinous, but there's some rubbish in the taste, on the exhilaration it's a bit acrid.. I missed the drying, the heads are compact but cottony... I will succeed better next time!! see you

Getting fat!!

Happy to see the plants taking off. Watering has not been an issue with the hot weather. Give them as much as they will take every 2-3 days. Gave them kelp meal (1tsp/gallon of soil) and some worm castings this week--about a handful worm castings per pot--dry amendments are very gentle and forgiving in soil. Fems: Both identified growing solo in 30 gallon fabric pots. Not pulling the 1st female much. I did gently set her under a small tomato cage slightly. 2nd female is growing regular--no pull--no pinch--nada!--just straight up. Males--As far as the male count--currently 6 males have been removed from the grow area.

- The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest. - Drying was made at 20°C and around 51% of humidity (4 days). - Curing done with humidity in jar between 60-61%, temperature around 21°C (2 weeks). Veg time : 46 days Flowering time : 56 days Total time from seed to harvest : 106 days Height : 76cm Pot size : 26l

This week, the Diamond Handz by Square One Genetics got........well sticky. She is frosting up nicely and smells like sweet candy. I am surprised by the stacking on these main branches 😃. There is not much to do for her as she has received her last feed already. All that is needed is wellness checks and watering.....I do not mind being in the Tent as the smells are soooooooooo Damn good 😏. I also tend to pluck out any yellowing or dying leaves until the end of flower!

04/16/24. Hey hiii helloooo. We are entering week 8 wow. I can’t believe we made it. All in all I’m very happy with how thing have gone/are going. I’m not sure exactly how soon or not these will be done. I think they’ve done what they are gonna do and now we’re just watching trichomes. They look sorta done? Like I think I could chop them and all would be fine.. but I’m no expert on trichomes. I think they look milky LOL..mostly? I’m going to let them keep going and watch for any changes. Feeling happy and also sad at the thought of murdering them :( I love them Oh and I dimmed the light to 50% and just giving water still when they’re dry which is every other day. Each drinking 1 gallon. Trichome pictures included for anyone who can look at them better than me.😅
