Último día del año y último día de la semana 9 de las bebas. Está semana que entra sería la última de la white quizás llegando a fin de semana corte solo las puntas y dejé una semana más los bajos o en caso que le falte la esperaré una semana más (creo que es lo mejor) viene muy compacta y olorosa, resina no veo tanto como en blue moby que viene con menos producción pero que dejó en segundo y tercer lugar a las otras en producción de resina le quedan 2 semanas veremos cómo sigue evolucionando pero estoy fascinado. Moby dick viene atrasada pero avanzando de a poco espero que no quede estancada y me quedé flaca seguro se atraso por el estrés de que se cortó su punta principal hace un par de semanas pero bueno creo que vale la pena esperar a todas!! Desde lo personal les deseo que empiecen un año mejor al que paso y que les traiga más lindas experiencias con el cultivo y los más bellos cogollos, un avance hacia la legalización en dónde todavía se les prohíbe está hermosa planta, felices fiestas y próspero año nuevo! This one's maturing extremely slow, but the buds are extremely chunky putting on a good bit of frost, and LOUD LOUD LOUD Candy Grapes + New Age Diesel/Gas Terps and it is screaming loud, the leaf rub results in a similar nose with a huge diesel tinge. This is definently a modern spin on the classic. Amazing genetics, but the bag appeal on this Pheno isn't anything crazy! Definnetly will give this another spin some time! I love the Terps on this.

It’s a week full of growth, observations, and some lessons to share. ⸻ 🌿 Current Status • Both plants are looking healthy, vigorous, and branching strong. • White hairs (pistils) continue to thicken and spread — the first signs of real bud-building. • Leaves show some spots, likely a touch of CalMag deficiency. This is not uncommon at this stage, as the plants’ demands for calcium and magnesium rise sharply during heavy metabolic activity. To support them, I’ve kept the full nutrient recipe steady this week and reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to strengthen the nutritional foundation and bounce them back quickly. ⸻ 💧 Nutrient Recipe (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – cell wall support & stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – to address spotted leaves and support photosynthesis • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – reintroduced this week to balance the base nutrition and help recovery from early deficiency signs • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – pushing bud development, resin, and flavor complexity ⚠️ Note on feeding adjustments: This week we removed Top Booster from the mix. While it’s a great stimulator during certain flower stages, running it alongside Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation risks overlapping too much PK. Too much of a good thing can cause stress, salt build-up, or nutrient lockouts. By keeping the recipe focused and balanced, the Lava Cakes can thrive without overload. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temperatures: Lower this week (relief!) thanks to cooling efforts. • Humidity: Still running a little high, sometimes hovering beyond the ideal. • Airflow: Two 6-inch exhausts + intake, all carbon filtered. This, along with fans inside, should keep the air moving and avoid stagnant moisture pockets. ⚠️ Note: Higher humidity at this stage can invite mold or mildew risks, but with strong airflow and constant air renewal, we’re reducing the chances. The Lava Cakes showed us some leaf spots, and in return, we adjusted by reintroducing All-in-One Liquid while simplifying the booster recipe. This isn’t just about correcting deficiencies — it’s about preparing them for the heavier bloom demands to come. With lower temperatures, steady airflow, and a carefully tuned recipe, the girls are thriving. Every day brings more white hairs, more structure, and more anticipation for what’s ahead. ⸻ 🔬 Science Spotlight: Nutrient Antagonism One of the biggest hidden challenges in mid-flower is nutrient antagonism — when too much of one element blocks the uptake of another. • Excess phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) (often from bloom boosters) can interfere with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) absorption. Friends, we're almost at the end, there's still a week or so left to harvest.

D33 - 19/02 Haven’t changed the reservoir this week yet. A few burnt tips on Northern Lights #2, will probably go a little lighter on nutes next feed - she’s definitely more sensitive to them than the other ones. Overall great looking girls and nice growth. The #2’s are higher than the #1’s, nodes developing nicely and the scrog is definitely helping with lateral growth as well. — D35 Mixed a new reservoir with roughly 19L, at around 70% strength. pH 6.0 and EC 1.1 Humidity has risen a bit, so I installed the dehumidifier again. Apparently the tip burning has stopped, or at least slowed, which is good. #1’s are at around 25cm height, while #2’s are around 40cm height. — D36 Did another defoliation session as the girls really needed it. Cleaned a lot of the big fan leaves, airflow and light penetration is way better now. A few hours after and they’re super happy again.

Herercane is doing well and putting on some stretch. I can see the sativa traits coming out in the leaves pretty dominate. I have them on half bloom and half grow now. Will probably cut out the maxigro in about a week and start them in a pinch if flower boosters. Other than that everything is running smooth.
