12/4: I flushed them both today and took some photos. Their buds have gotten so dense that the branches can't support any of them...added a bunch of bamboo stakes for support. I'll harvest them in another day or two. 12/5: Harvested both of them. Very heavy plants! 12/9: Still hanging to dry, and very well protected.😁

The overdrive worked great. We are grabbing all the weight and letting her fill in her final race to the finish. Waiting for the perfect time to harvest. She has Nice tight and frosty buds. Tricomes are turning to a milky haze. The weight of the multiple colas is causing a little bit of a issue. I've staked a few of the larger plants. Have a flush scheduled for tomorrow. Time to clean out the soil and clear up any residual nutrients.Its her final chance to pack on a little more weight and at the perfect time we will wrap it up.Great growing this far. Week 2 in the books here and all is still Lookn good. Should be coming up on fim day pretty soon so that we can better manage plant heights through the stretch. Don’t expect to take much more than another week or so before we make the flip to flower. The Ghost Train clone is still fighting for roots so we’ll likely wait and see based on this cut. As soon as she starts to perk up we’ll move em over. Alls well so far👍. Background I’m killing a few birds with one cycle here. Got some famed breeder strains to show off - genetics that we just haven’t gotten around to growing successfully. Details as follows; Outlaw Seeds - Muffin Berry Why these guys aren’t listed on GD is surprising to me. All the hallmarks of a budding quality breeder from what he read although, I admit, this is our first go in real time. Just another addition to the berry strains as we continue our everlasting quest to find that “best berry” of them all.👍 AMS - Pineapple Express Great co. And I’ve got a full stable of their genetics kicking off this year. This strain has been a massive unicorn for us in the past and I still have yet to see one flower out to the finish proper. Can’t wait to see what this one does. The reviews have been terrific so 🤞. OSS - Banana Sherbet A kick in freebie that came with 2 other strains by OSS. Proven and reliable breeder with excellent hybrid combos. I expect this banana sherbet to be no different and early signs are that she’ll be one of the strongest👌. AMS - Ghost Train (clone) Another unicorn that we’ve had issues with. Our outdoor plant that was supposed to be an auto and turned out to be a photo. Unlikely with the typical fall weather that she’ll see harvest so this is an opportunity to take a cut and possibly salvage that grow. Really looking forward to this one for sure. They’ll all sit in bucket company bags and containers and we’ll be irrigating on drip lines with fewer plants than usual in this space. Hopefully we don’t run into any deficiency issues given that these buckets are a slight detraction from our typical dutchies. Only time will tell, here we go again👍🤞.

Oct 17: close to ready but we’re running out of nice weather in two days. It’s been an absolutely great run of cannabis weather since July but first snow is forecast for 7 days from now, and then it’s below zero all day and there’s no hope at that point. Oct 23: weather has still been good enough to keep going but I’ll take her down tomorrow. She’s the last plant in the grow area and potentially the biggest overall but I don’t think she’ll win that contest. Oct 24: took it all 2,800 g wet. In keeping with Canadian outdoor tradition, there was a bit of snow falling as the plant was being chopped. She would have better buds with stronger sunlight but it’s all for hash and I’m happy with the total weight (of course).

It's been 23 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are usually companies would charge more. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. 8/2: Started new batch of nutes. a repeat of last weeks nutes but with more CaliMag this time. Wednesday we will be bumping Rez to 6 gallons this week. Depending on how she is looking throughout the week we may start transitioning to Bloom nutes. Mixed as usual nutes in gallon jug of water. Transferred half to half gallon jug. Topped of Rez with half gallon jug of treated water. 8/3: Fed her today. Gave her the rest of the mixed nutes from yesterday’s feeding and also a full gallon of plain water. Filled rez to 3rd line today due to roots coming from bottom of bag into rez. Now that’s 6 gallons in the rez now. 8/4: Topped off Rez before bed with the half gallon of plain water. Started transition nutes this evening. Mixed nutes in gallon jug as usual. Poured half into half gallon jug. Filled rez to 3rd line using half gallon jug of nutes. Still some left over in jug. 8/5: Topped off the Rez with the rest of the nutes from half gallon jug. Split gallon jug of plain water into half gallon of water. Poured some of the half gallon of plain water into Rez until it was a little over the 3rd line. Bumped light intensity to 70% This evening topped of Rez again with the rest of the plain water from half gallon jug from earlier today. Then poured in SOME of the rest of the transition nutes left from mixing. 8/7: Mixed another round of transition nutes and fed from half gallon jug split. 8/8: Topped off rez with remaining half gallon full of mixed nutes for the week. Will need to water another half gallon of plain water before starting new nute batch tomorrow. Topped of rez to 3rd line with some of the plain water in half gallon jug. Topped of Rez again late tonight with the rest of water from half gallon. I can now start new batch of nutes tomorrow.

4/10 Hey all. So I obviously slacked off on keeping a journal. Easier said than done when life gets busy. This is for anyone who took a passing interest in this plant because this was a relatively new strain from In-house.When I last left, I was reporting yellowing in the plant and general sadness in how she looked. Long story short, I think it was the enviornment it struggled with. I ended up switching it to my "warmer" tent that was closer to the space heater. It ended up growing more when I did this. That being said, it never seemed to fully recover. I ended up flipping to 12/12 (not recommended if you have a struggling plant) only because I was starting to run out of space. Fortunately for me, it seems like the plant has never been healthier. The buds are coming in nicely thus far and smell great. I think spring came just in time for her. The tent now routinely gets up to about 75-77 degrees F instead of the balmy 72-69 F I was dealing with months ago. Regardless, this journal WILL have a happy ending. Happy growing everyone.
