Sunday, May 15. 2022 Plants really looking good and happy to me 😁. The roots are sucking much more water out of the pots than my previous grow and I am giving them a gallon every two days now. They wilted slightly a couple days this week because I didn't realise how much water they were using. Supplemented feed yesterday with Recharge and Cytokin, and foliar spray of same solution this morning. Both plants started showing pistils a couple weeks back but now both are full furred out. Plant #2, the one with whorled phyllotaxy, has red and white pistils; I am not sure of the significance of that, if any.

Upgraded my grow light. Did a little LST. So far its looking good. The GG4 is really slow though. But again from my research strains like this start slow but they are robust in the stretching phase soooo I will let her do her thing. On to the next week.

I'm in love with the structure on this sugar cane. She takes training easily and has developed a beautiful canopy of tops without much effort. It's almost like she just knows what I want her to do. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Happy Mother’s Day. 5/13 Getting weird like bright neon orange pistils. I personally think it’s way too early to have pistils changing colors already. 5/16 fairly certain it was wind burn. My humidity was jacking up and my fan was trying to compensate. Changed settings and we should be golden now. Plant is frosting up hella already. I think there’s more frost than there are pistils 5/18 day 20 of flowering. Last day of week 2

9-7-25. What can I say the Apple fritter continues to do very well have no insect damage and no major issues to mention. The plant has been completely trellis for the last time. The bud structure is really great. The branches are really large. Really happy plant is doing well. top dressed it’s last top dress with one cup each of flower, finisher, primo Hydroslate, pure kelp, dry, and soluble seaweed extract as well as Azomite. All of these are micronized and soluble powdered so the plant should uptake the nutrients much faster than traditional top dresses. Don’t have any large granules that are gonna take time to break down and water in from here on out it will be water with its last two sugar water drenches, which I will use boogie brix, and black strap molasses brixs. with all of these nutrients and amendments in place I will let the girls ride out their last few weeks with Just nice rich mountain water to ensure they use every bit of the sugar, phosphate and potassium for frosty buds with heavy resin and terp production .

Her pistils are changing colour now. Maybe a couple of weeks left?? Still doing her thing. 💪

She lost faith around week 6 of flower. My own fault but didn't damage her to much. Look forward to the cure. They've had their 2 days of darkness and all hanging on 60/60. Will look back in 5 days to see where we're at 🌱💚

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! A microbe product, PH going into the medium is around 6.5-6.8 and coming out is between 5.5-5.8, so something is acidifying it up. Also noticed the runoff last week was a bit higher at times. So lowered the feed down quite a bit, going in at 1.4EC vs 1.8 will bump it up to 1.5 and 1.6 in the next few weeks. I also added in a bit of a PK booster. nothing to crazy only 60ppm worth on a total allowance of 700PPM Lights now running at 100% with V1 spectrum, decided to go with 100% now vs after stretch, will see how it works out. 06/23/2020 Here she is very well pollinated, and fattening up! I will post a video of her mid week to show her progress. The waiting begins. I'am really hopping #3 passes his flower structure (week 3 first pic) into the cookie cake for bigger buds, and less cookie like structure but either way taste should be great and potency off the charts!🙏 06/24/2020 Video 2 shows remains of Red Sky male, his pollen is a nice yellow. I kept 1.4grams and must of been 5 grams on floor and walls!
