She is growing well. Her flowers are getting much fatter and much more dense. Her trichomes are developing nicely. Still a few weeks away though.

I accidentally snapped off a branch during the transplant from 3 gallon bags to a 5 gallon bucket, attempted to clone it but, to no avail. I’m gonna consider that some inadvertent HST.

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

This week I couldn't go and watch the grow because I was out of town. The day before leaving I defoliated and transplanted. When I returned I found the girls in great shape. I am really in love with these 15 plants 😍

This is one happy plant, she takes any of the training I give her, she’s eating twice a week now, around a gallon a day, just eating to be a real beauty, so so excited to see her at harvest.

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Sep 6: Tropicana Cookies FF is doing great. Maybe not as much flower maturation last week as I expected but we’re just starting week 8 of flowering. So likely the end of September which is fine for the late start on this plant. Sep 7: decided on a final top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. Seems they need a bit more P.

2nd time growing this strain. Was the best of the bunch last harvest under a cheap 300W LED drawing ~100W from the wall yet still gave me over 4oz Hoping under this brand new Spider Farmer SF-4000 I'll get much more. Just fed plain water in week 1.

The plants are large enough for low stress training I also decided to add advanced nutrients three-component fertilizer ph perfect As you can see in the main photo, the lower branches are small and underdeveloped due to the lack of light in the greenhouse I therefore decided to bend the plant more than is healthy in order to achieve greater development from the lower branches I noticed that some plants are small and undeveloped, and I saw holes and moles It was clear that something was eating the roots of the plant from below While working on low stress training, a mole ran out of the hole and started burrowing to another plant I really like animals, but I had to quickly decide what to do with the mole I pinned him to the ground with my foot and stuck a stick behind his head :( that I have as a support for low stress training I'm very sorry for the mole, I've never killed such a big animal... 10/29: Watered 2 gallons in each plant. Pulled branches down and out to spread as wide as possible. Things are looking good, pulled a few dead leaves and it has a couple that have brown on the tips, but past experience tells me that it will pass and they will be fine. I'll keep an eye and determine if anything needs to be done. 11/2 - They lost the friend that was finishing up and gained a new friend who is in week 1 flower. This one is another non-diary plant that I began before being on here.
