She's filled out really nicely in these final weeks. The leaves are maturing and turning amber, I hope to cut the plant here soon, I don't want too much amber in the buds, as I'm aiming for a more cerebral head high. I started brewing a batch of Compost Tea today which should be ready in 24-36 hours, after which I'll give the Wedding Cheesecake FF a treat! 5/19- I'm almost certain that slugs are the culprits of all of the leaf chewing that has occurred. I only wish I had figured it out sooner but, on the bright side, this is a photoperiod and she has plenty of time to recover so she'll be just fine. Once I figured out that I was facing a slug attack, I immediately deployed my favorite defense against slugs and other little soft bodied buggers and their larvae... Diatomaceous Earth. This stuff is death to fungus gnat larvae, along with other pest larvae and will ruin a slugs day quickly! If you look at diatomaceous earth under magnification, it resembles shards of glass and acts as the same on the soft bodies of pests either repelling, or killing them! 5/21- The Wedding Cheesecake is putting out a ton of new growth and has maintained her color and vigor. I have been training her branches through the trellis net as they get long enough and will probably be installing a second net before too long! Our weather has dried out and warmed up so I'm watering daily with well water straight from the garden hose. 5/23- Eight weeks of growth for the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower and she just keeps looking better by the day... She's going to be a gorgeous plant! I cannot wait to see her in a month or so... can you? She si a shorts Girl with fat colas, the smell is strong and sweet, the flowers are very hard and sweet, My Main complaint with this strain is the time, because the bank says si a 8 week strain but she doesn't.

Week two went well. Just maintaining humidity still and a good temp. Watered plant two on day 10. 200ml with 2.5ml added fox farm grow big. Also re wetting the sponges I have in them daily for humidity.

She started looking good after 3 days of stalled growth. Thanks to the growmieverse for the encouraging words while I worried something wasn't quite right. Still a modest RH concern (high 30s is ok, wishing for 50). Cool mist humidifier may be in order.

Big Bitch Downunder 19th April 2024 11 weeks of flowering finished 😀 The buds are fattening up nicely now and are covered in big trichomes . The smell is getting better and better every week and I am anticipating a fantastic sativa harvest. As usual cheers for stopping by 👍

Week 4

2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.

04/02/2024 - All the plants are looking healthy but Im suspecting that one of them is a hemafrodite, i would like to read your opinion about it, guys.

Day 44, 2nd of November 2021: Hi there. So the plants had 2 days of darkness before the lamp was on again and from today it is 12/12. Big change also is the power: It is now on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation is different as well under the 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hours on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same, temperature as well. Fertilization changed, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. Previously it was just 1ml per liter each. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week. Not much to mention as it just started.

Week 2 flower (day 9) the plants looks healthy and they straching everyday more and more its going to continue stretching till 3 from my experience. I added second trellis net (scrog) and raised the CO2 enrichment to around 1200 PPM, lights is on arouned 1000-1100 PPFD, I raised the nutrients EC to 2.0, so far so good. I noticed that the plants want more water they’re always hungry the want more and more. I never grow plant that drinks that much of water. Hehe. *update: Week 2 flower day 12 the ladies are starching alot every day, I keep an eye on them and I lift the lights every day. Don’t want to burn the them, I raise the EC to 2.1 2.2 .

Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Willkommen in Woche sechs! 🌱 Die fünfte Woche lief perfekt – alle Parameter stimmen. Ich habe die Leitfähigkeit des Wassers auf satte 3000 erhöht und den CO2-Gehalt auf 1200 angehoben 🌿. Die Lichtstärke beträgt jetzt 1400 µmol in der Mitte und 1000 am Rand, was dafür sorgen wird, dass die Pflanzen stark im generativen Zustand bleiben 🌞. Das sollte der Photosynthese einen letzten Schub geben und das Wachstum der Pflanzen maximal fördern! Bis jetzt sieht alles fantastisch aus! Die Black Cherry ist in verschiedenen Versuchsreihen gut angewachsen, und am Ende des Grows werde ich einen ausführlichen Bericht darüber abgeben, wie sich die beiden Sorten am besten pflegen lassen 🌺👌.
