Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed. Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying. As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.

Bulking quite well, she has a very strong haze smell as already mentioned she is handling everything like a champ, could not wished for a better plant :) From now on I will only give her PH 6.3 water without any additives. I believe its about 2 weeks until chop chop :)

Day 84 The plant appears healthy and vigorous, with broad green leaves arranged in a symmetrical pattern around several strong central stems, The foliage is dense, showing a rich, deep green color that suggests good nutrient balance and sufficient light exposure. Wow!! It was sunny and hot all week! You can see that they almost doubled their size and are looking pretty much more healthy. That is also because I followed @MadeInGermany 's advice and decided to wait more until I had to water. They seem to have liked that, beacuse there is no more sign of Ca blocking in the leaves. And they grew very nicely, no need of everything. Also following his advice I will use Cal/Mag in the next watering. But, you know, I'm making it cheap... so I will use another home-made recipe: wood ash fertilizer, which include those nutrients and some that are needed in flowering stage -which seems to be starting, so next week will have the flowering label-. It also degrades the N in the soil that could be still causing a little overfeeding (leaves' tips are a bit burnt). However, I admit that my mistake was overwatering from the beggining. Lesson learned! No watering for the whole week and the plnat didn't seem to worry about it. Man! If only it had been this sunny all the time! Plants look very healthier and are way bigger, with huge new leaves. A little amount of pistils showed up in the last days, so I guess it is the moment for stretching. Knowing that, I decided to do a little training on Sweet, as it is the one a bit behind. You can see in the last picture how I took a couple leaves that were blocking light from side branches-future bud sites- and taped them, so they didn't. If results are good I might do the same with Rebel, but I have a feeling that she'll do good without it. Sadly, next week will be all rainy and cloudy... Nothing to do tho. Any commentary will be thanked, even if it is about how cheesy the videos are! 😂

Super Sativa Seed Club Purple Punch OG Auto Germination Week First time trying Super Sativa Seed Clubs genetics and personally am super excited to see how they'll turn out. Started 3 Purple Punch OG autos by using the shot glass method. Soaked in just tap water in a solo cup for 48hrs and then straight into the soil. 48hrs later and we have sprouts emerging. So far all seems well and with 100% germination rate it's hard to argue those results. Happy Growing

All I’m going to say is ooouff, it’s been a rough one this run and the plants took a beating especially the younger sister who’s got necrosis all over because of one fatal mistake I made; I didn’t use the correct calcium to magnesium ratio , the result ? Calcium lockout. I’m happy to say that I have managed to halt it though! Although I’m way too late , I think #2 is going to finish just fine, it’s not going to be 10/10 yield wise but there’ll be something :) As for #1 she is in a much better spot , the crown and few tops here and there are a lighter shade of green (which looks yellowish under the lights) but in actual ambient light they’re a shade darker. Well lesson learned, respect the calmag ratios! 😅
