Week 3 going well. Topped her and doing a bit of lst as well. Week 4 fead her with 25ml off grow auto from living Soils. And did a bit of demolition as well.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Started the week off by swapping the girls tent for my tiny 2x2x4 and they loved the environment. Such a small space, so easy to maintain. Increased the nutrients to about 1/4 the recommended dose from Advanced Nutrients, and also increased the water to a little over 1 cup by the end of the week, the girls responded great, and perked right up. I didn’t dial up the light this week as they were in a much smaller tent, but will be moving them to my big tent , while also transplanting n the very near future. I like to move up to 2 gallon pots for the 1 transplant, then move into their final 4 or 5 gallon pot around week 6 or 7, just in time for them to settle in before flipping to flower. Apologies for not updating last week, I have just been really busy! These last couple of weeks have been great - her growth is coming along very well. There are no signs of any deficiencies as of yet, what is your opinion! In regards to defoliating and lollipopping - what growth would you suggest I get rid off?

WEEK 7/4F // D43/22F - D49/28F Der Mainbud fängt an die drei oberen Knospen nebeneinander auszubilden und nicht so wie die üblich übereinander. Bei der Gelato daneben das gleiche. Ist aber nicht weiter wild. Das hatte die GorillaZkittlez im letzten Jahr auch und hat sich trotzdem super entwickelt und geschmeckt. Das einzige was negativ ist, ist die erhöhte Schimmelgefahr. Bisher macht die Guava einen super fitten Eindruck. Die unteren vier Seitentriebe wurden mit Bindedraht an der Stange in der Mitte befestigt das die Triebe bei starkem Wind und dicker werdenden Buds etwas gestützt sind. Zwei Bilder von der Gelato sind auch mit dabei. Die entwickelt auch unnormal viele Blüten. Das sind auch die Genetiken bei denen ich mir am wenigsten Gedanken wegen Mehltau oder Schimmel mache. Im letzten Jahr wo mir einiges weggeschimmelt ist und auch einige einen ordentlichen Mehltaubefall hatten, sind die Gelato, die Guava und auch die GorillaZkittlez und Gorilla ohne Probleme durchgekommen. Deswegen werden auch nur diese Genetiken auf den Balkon kommen. Bei der GorillaCookies mache ich mir auch keine großen Gedanken. Gegossen wurde an Tag 43/22F, an Tag44/23F, an Tag45/24F, an Tag48/27F und an Tag49/28F. An den Tagen gab es ca 1L-1.2L. Der Topf wird vor dem gießen leicht angehoben um zu abzuschätzen wie viel die Dame benötigt. Temperatur Tag: 22-28°C Nacht: 13-19°C Höhe 84cm

Hello and thank you for stopping by, it is now day 28 in 2x4 closet and things are going very smoothly I'm watering still with a pH of 6.5 when dry. I'm having minor issues with Gnat larvae in my coco and I am going to solve the issue by watering with neem oil for the next couple weeks. I will also be trying out some hydrogen peroxide in my water at a 4:1 ratio if the neem oil fails to control the larvae. My first top dress will be in about 7 days and I am going to be doing some low stress training this week stay tuned ☺️

My first grow. It's been a long time coming. This grow is 4 plants, 4 strains in a 90x90x200 with a 440w LED. Bruce Banner #3 Gorilla Zskittles Amnesia Haze Blue Gelato 41 The Banner and Skittles broke the soil successfully this week but unfortunately the Amnesia and Gelato didn't cut the mustard. Successfully germinated on second attempt however this means they are a little behind the the other 2 for now. I have the light dimmed to around 20% as the ladies were showing signs of having too much light, a slight yellowing to the ends of the leaves on the Skittles? This was with the light at around 50%. Will ramp this up slowly over the next couple of week once the other 2 break soil. UPDATE The Blue Gelato and the Amnesia Haze broke the soil a couple of days ago so they shouldn't be massively behind the other 2. Looking forward to seeing these ladies grow!

Die Livingsoiltöpfe wurden jeweils mit einer guten Portion abgelagertem Schwarzkohlekompost aufgefüllt und mit Asiasalaten sowie mit Winterportulak bepflanzt. Die Stiele der Shaman Damen sowie Schneckengehäuse und Muschelschalen-Crush habe ich zwischen die Pflanzen verteilt. Sobald sich die Salate etabliert haben wird mit einer dickeren Schicht C-Material (alles was braun ist) abgemulcht. Die Töpfe stehen geschützt und müssen ab und zu auf ausreichend Feuchtigkeit überprüft werden. Die Salate (Senf) fördern das Bodenleben und die spätere Pflanzengesundheit. Bis nächstes Jahr. 🏻
