Hello, long time, no grow. I’m trilled to start on a new grow project, i’m away from growing a long time, but my love for ot was always present, i miss it a lot so i have got a few strains from Fastbuds to test and come back with a minimal setup. I have got the Fastberry, Bluedream, and the 1:20 cbd, they have sent in the Banana Purple punch Ok, so what is a minimal setup? For this grow i have choose to grow in my balcony, it is fairly big and i gave good sunlight, we are in summer now, so temps are high, swinging a lot. It is raining often as well so I did not need to water much. For the nutrients i will go organic i think, in my substrate i have about 30% warm castings, so i’m good for till mid grow length +-, i might add a bit of nutrients in 30 days mark. The objective of this experiment is to use as little as possible, 360 degrees. For the germination process i have used a mixed process method, that i have learned from Fastbuds and i have loved it, 24h in a glass of filtered water, paper towel for about 24h -48h and then the Floraflex gremination pellets, i have tested on the jiffy and worked fine as well. Cool about this method, if you are more on the anxious side or like to control more the process this is the way, you can follow the hole process and see the development in parts. I will add images later on, for this breakdown. Well that is it, lets hope for a cool, safe journey for this girls.

Update 11/8...2nd plant is harvested and jarred. The terps on this strain are amazing! I harvested only 1 plant....her sister (the tall purple girl) is still under the lights. Based on dry weight on 4 upper colas harvested 5 days earlier I'm expecting a whopping 160 grams from just the one plant. The colas are super frosty and dense, holding their weight during drying. I've got 40 grams already curing, the rest is still hanging in the dry box. This strain was an absolute pleasure to grow and even an uncured bud smokes smooth and sweet with a nice, even slow burn and white to light grey ash. It's gonna be my go-to from my winter stash line-up!! Thank you Royal Queen Seeds for the opportunity to select and grow one of your strains and for Organic nute setup. Finally feel like she's headed into flower, thickening of bud sights, growth has slowed, she must of shot up 2' over the last month that flower stretch is real. This will push her to mid October unless I have a miracle, I'm really banking on nice weather. I did a heavy defoliation on the inside, clean it up for better airflow and to make it easier come harvest. I have to battle mold and mildew in the fall, I used to just use a foliar spray of apple cider vinegar, which works great for mildew, but I need something stronger for mold. As such I've started a Lactobacillus Serum, that with a few drops of organic food grade cinnamon oil in a foliar spray has said to reduce instances of botrytis by 90%, anyone have experience with Lactobacillus in battling mold /mildew?

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. Oct 3rd, - start of week 9 in flower; Panama Red, Honduras x Panama get a visit and a feeding tomorrow - (ford) Pink Kush (Bahia black head) get a visit and phood tonight as well. (Bahia Black Head is being Flushed this week, no food) - Alaskan Purple is simply putting on a Huge display after being so quiet all year long. Pictured bottom branch is over 9’ long… 4th - applied the Milk treatment as planned. White Powdery Mildew has been knocked out on this plant; Alaskan Purple. Its also completely stalled Mildew on two other grows. (2-part Milk / 3-part Water. 3.25% fat content is what the Gardener references used for hard vegetables: 7-10 days as req’d 5th - fed Panama Red and Honduras x Panama. (Black Tuna gets Chopped Sunday) 6th *** its a great story, and I’ll keep it short here. - LEGACYMARKETFARM gave me an opportunity earlier this year, and I want to give a shout out to them so people can see the High-Level that they are working-on. Watering only every 3 days or so has become the norm. I am very curious to see how this strain will turn out!

This week has gone fine except for one thing which I’ll come to later on. Still stretching, canopy par level is 900 on average and I don’t have any way of getting the lights up further. Hoping the intense light will slow the stretch down a bit but we will have to wait and see. Worst case I’ll have to dim the lights down a bit. That leads me onto the mystery of this week. The nearly dead plant. I have no idea why it has gone so limp. You can kind of see on the photo lapse how quickly it collapses. Incase it’s some kind of disease I’ll give it another day in there. If it doesn’t recover I’ll have to pull her out and try to train the other plants over her empty spot so I don’t waste any light. EC is around 1.2-1.5 atm, the highest dose I’ll be giving them will be week 4 and 5 of flower when the buds seem to do the most weight gains (visually). Canopy is actually quite even if you overlook the hole in the canopy, maybe a couple inches between highest and lowest. Anyway, thanks for checking in guys, if anyone has any thoughts/comments about the dead plant let me know as I’m struggling to find answers online. 😊

All plants are now dried over the space of 10 days at roughly 65f and 55% humidity in the dark. It’s been 2 weeks into the cure and the smells are popping and the sample buds taste great and get me lit af. Didn’t really expect 5 vastly different phenotypes from 5 seeds, is this the norm?

Aug 10: small but fast this Chemdawg is going to be ready pretty soon. I’ll resist the urge to harvest for a couple more weeks. Using the UV lights for a few hours at mid-day. Early in using it, but I think it helps. Aug 11: another perfect cannabis weather day with all day sun and five hours of UV lights. Ideally I’d have another set of four lights so to get full coverage I’m rotating the plant 90 degrees every 1.5 h or so for five hours total coverage. With the uniform manifold this isn’t a problem as the overall light coverage is quite even. Anyway, she’s getting some good strong light so some trichome production should kick in here soon. Looks good.

Now we've reached day 34. We are now in flowering, we are guiltily carrying with us a bit of vegetative over fertilization but we are sure that we have worked well and that the flowers will not be compromised. The good news is that the plants are exceptionally vigorous and practically do not need fertilizer in the vegetative phase, and it seems to me to be excellent quality. We wait to see the flowers and you will see... Our Wurlz F1 per mea culpa mea culèa mea grandissima culpa shows some signs of overfeeding, the famous yellow tips of the leaves. Let's be clear, this is minor and is due to the fact that these genetics are so good that they need very little or no fertilizer in the vegetative phase. Then if you already have fertilized soil, forget about growing guys, another pro! I gave the recommended doses even a little less to tell the truth of both Aptus and Plagron and the plants more or less all have these small signs of over. LITTLE guys, wait until the end to save if you feel like it, or at least I recommend it. To fix this little thing we go to flush with pH 6.2 and only give Aptus Regulator which should rebalance the plant and soil before delicately moving on to fertilizers for flowering.
