Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. She had gotten a bit over watered so I let her go a few extra days between watering. The next morning, she let me know I did the right thing. 💜

Pics range from Day 14 to Day 21. Two very distinct phenos of the GLP. One coming in very purple early on and the other must hold distinct visual familiarities of her SFV OG. Will be top dressed with Gaia and EWC along with second application of Miicrobial Mass which has greatly aides in unlocking that Iron.

My three Bubble OG plants are looking fantastic, especially that tallest one! It's reaching for the sky and makes me think the others might have a little sibling rivalry going on. I can't wait to see how huge it gets.

My Rainbow Melon plant is still one of the biggest in the tent, and it's definitely the smelliest so far. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how big the leaves are getting. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

The 50L pot will end up in the little tent with 120W LED and the four 25L pot will stay in the big one with 300W LED. D7. 29/04/24 Last day of first week, they are looking good and already stepped up DLI to 18 💪

Average grow maintenance effort, slow growth, small canopy but not really any issues. I will update all the weights, taste and all that crap soon.

Day 57, very happy so far, plants are just taking everything they get, a very easy strain to grow. Added Bud Explosion this week as flower has kicked in, really looking forward to the next month as temps drop in my part of the world. Thinking of letting temps be a little cooler in grow area as they seem to enjoy it. Thanks to those who comment I enjoy hearing from other fellow growers, learning new things and becoming better at growing this magnificent plant. Happy growing ✌️

Flowering period started, i added adv nutrients to biobizz line and i just have to understand the reaction of blue dream, i just think there is something too much. I m not sure cause i'm experiencing problems with temperature and humidity too, so i can't exactly recgnize wich is the problem now. i'll update next week hoping the problem will be solved. Let's go!

9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine Little vid she is center Nuets not changing for now 9/15 Ok major changes Brought up the alternate tent and placed her in it alone under a 150w Mars This is a test to see if we can help the crowding issue in the Flower tent Video enjoy 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. And the flowering begins! Changed the timer today to 12/12. The plant stems don't seem perfect to me but the clones didn't come as good as they should have been. They were the only ones i had though. The temperature is too high but i can't lower it anymore it's too hot were i live. Can't wait for the colder days! :/ Usually i opt for Scrog but this time i'm going with LST instead because since the grow space is small, its easier for me in case i want to flush or move the plants around. Gonna start the bloom boosters next week. Yay!

Day 32 of flowering Looking good, Delta 9 reacted nicely and now Im combining guano and organic sugar. Autumn is here and fresh air with low temperatures are excellent coworkers for the final cut.
