It was a great call to defoliate I'm already seeing the benefits. The only unfortunate parts is the added time, she seems to be progressing at a steady rate none the less and it will be harvest time before I know it. The smells coming off the stem rubs are very enticing and have this seasoned grower super excited for the smoke report!

Ok folks, gunna be one armed for another 6 weeks so I'm just the conductor the true heroes will go unseen. Everything is alive atleast, had a scare yesterday as things got so dried out everything went limp but an hour after feed turned back around. Noticed some yellowing and other coloring coming thru on alot of leaves so I bumped ppm up a little bit this last feed. They dont look like they have a deficiency, it's weird, they look beautiful but with a premature fade almost. I really like Green Buzz' line up/regiment I just have to dial it in which isnt easy since it's a multi strain crop and various size plants. It's very easy to use and makes me feel good knowing it's not poison. Did a minor leaf strip around the tent just to make things fit better. I'll copy and paste this to the diaries for the rest of the crop per usual but go into a little more detail on each plant individually. Pics and vids were taken on day 28 of flower. I'm trying to keep up with these as best I can from start to finish, the flip date was 6.10.19, today is 7.9.19. I fucking love this girl she might be my favorite. Reason why is because I know these nugs are going to swell, and the 1st pheno was such a good smoke but the buds didnt fill in like i hoped so this is redemption. Already has a skunky orange scent when Terps get on your fingers. This one also has dramatic coloring in the foliage must be due to lack of N I assume (could be wrong). Data.... So there we have it. Another harvest in the bag and some very nice nugs of Zamnesia Biscotti to wait to dry and cure to perfection. The strain has been great to grow with no issues with anything I threw at it. I didn't see the need to use anything to minimise the iverall size of my plants but went with the nutes to see what the results would be. We will get a better idea once dried and cured with a yield per plant to go with too. I am not expecting g a huge yield based on their overall medium size bit rhe buds look so sweet amd smell amazing of a pineapple type sweet and a fuel type undertone. I actually enjoyed this grow cycle and will be popping more Elev8 genetics I have some more strains that is put up in the freezer . Next up will be Star Punch think it Starfighter crossed with Purple Punch . Magic Cherries smoke smoothly and aromas Magic Melon and the taste terps Cherry lightweight. Satisfied ✊🏾💯

She is doing a lot better this week I had to install a heater unit outside tent to keep levels better for the plants . The leaves are doing better and tomorrow she gets a feeding again and will be doing producing more leaves and getting healthier . She isn't flowering yet or any pre flowers but it will soon and she is gonna be a short one this go around . Cheers canna family....

I was unable to use the full use of the Optic 2 LED due to height and heat issues. Which were impacting the amount of light each plant was receiving this stunting their growth. I have now brought/installed the HLG 260w Rspec and have noticed a improvement. The new light covers the canopy well and I am now able to give the plants more light which will hopefully help them develop better buds. The Blue Gelato #41 has responded well and has started to drink less which hopefully means she be ready for harvest in 4-5 weeks time. Although I have stopped using my PK boost, on my next run I will start the PK at the first sign of flower as I feel from week 4 is a little late. Happy growing 🤙🏿

Het is zover, ze is aan haar eind gekomen. Na een moeilijke start heeft ze zich ontpopt tot een prachtige dame met mooie kleurrijke toppen als resultaat. Ik hoop dat ze smaakt zoals ze ruikt want ze ruikt heerlijk zoet bloemachtig. Bedankt Weedseedsexpress voor de mogelijkheid deze strain te kweken en de trotse eerste te zijn op Growdiaries.👌🏽 Ik heb de toppen opgehangen in de tent en wanneer ze droog zijn zal ik de overige resultaten hier rapporteren. Denk dat het ongeveer anderhalf a 2 weken zal duren. Tot dan ✌️🏽 Rook rapport: vandaag 23 april , 5 dagen na het oogsten, zijn de toppen zo goed als droog. De toppen zijn niet echt compact maar luchtig. Ze heeft het ook zwaar gehad met veel temperatuurverschillen. Ze heeft mooie paarse suikerblaadjes. De smaak is lekker licht, tropisch aardeachtig en het effect is een couchlock. Stoned als een moederneuker. Dit was mijn eerste wintergrow en heb er veel van geleerd. Into week three of flowering: - Need to up CalMg this week cause all my last grows with this strain the plants were stressing and showing signs of Mg deficiency I think. - The buds are stacking up pretty tight. - The top of the plant is showing some red veins AGAIN, don't know if it is genetics? Or is it too much light? ANY SUGGESTIONS? - Usually what happens is that after week three top of plant will show red veins and some leaves will turn light green yellow. What type of deficiency is this? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy growing, BM 4TwenTee *****Update on LIGHT STRESS:***** Okay I think I got this figured out. Since my plant is showing the following symptoms: - Slow yellowing of top of cannopy - Fan leaves pointing up in a steep angle - Leaves are tacoing up a bit with sharp pointy serrated leaves pointing up - Veins are turning purple and some leaves are showing green veins and yellowing of outer part of the leaf REASONS FOR THE SYMPTOMS: - Since the light is too close to the top of the canopy, although my light is running at around 60% and it is at least a meter away from the light. I think because this was a mother and basically she is accustomed to top canopy PAR of around 180-220 and she was measuring around 600PAR so that is just too much for the plant to handle. So I've lowered the light output so the top canopy is around 420 PAR. - Also my humidity is pretty high at around 72% so I lowered it to around 65% - The reason why the leaves are tacoing up to the light is because the canopy cannot take the high PAR, the temp at the top of the canopy is only 76F so that is acceptable, but the plant is trying the sweat due to the high PAR, but because the humidity was also too high it was not sweating as much as it should. - The reason why a light stressed plant shows different deficiencies eg. magnesium and phosphate is due to the "extra sweating" that takes place, cannabis plants don't choose what they intake, if they need more water to sweat, extra nutrients will be absorbed and this will lockout some of the other nutrients in the solution. **End of week update: Tried multiple changes but still no luck on getting rid of red leaf stem. - Added a 1 hour sunrise and sundown light regiment - Decreased Humidity to 65% from low 70's - Top of canopy PAR decreased from 600 to 350. Leaves red stems still not going away and top of canopy still trying to get rid of moisture with fan leaves pointing up. If anyone can chime in that would be great thanks.
