Hey hey! So my first week of proper seedling growth felt like it lasted forever! I feel like I definitely overwatered them in the germination phase and for the first few days of being seedlings, dialled it back a bit by giving them an extra day to dry out and they seemed to react well and have a bit of a growth spurt. Note for next grow: When transplanting cubes plant them a bit deeper in the soil, as once you water them the soil compresses causing them to poke out a bit! Also noticed a slight bit of green algae on one of the cubes, just picked it off and covered with soil to hide from light. Measured the PH of my tap water and was surprised to see that it was measuring 8.5, whereas previously it was around 6.5 - 7. Checked online and supposedly I do have very soft water, so i'm guessing this was just an anomaly. Anyway, readings for this water were: Tap: 8.5 Mixed with some Calmag due to my soft water + PH down to balance it: 6.3 Runoff: 5.5 Was surprised by the runoff being so low, going to mix in a slightly higher PH for tomorrows watering (maybe around 6.8~) and see how the runoff turns out. Overall pretty pleased and finding growing SUPER satisfying! It's turning out to be an amazing hobby.

The Dwarf has definitely strong genetics. I recommend it for newbies that don’t have a lot of money to spend on growing kits. Yet, I wish I could have grown her under better lights (75W is CLEARLY not enough). I’m sure that the yield would have been a lot bigger with great lights. But it was a great grow : this dwarf convinced me to continue ! I’ve chosen seeds with bigger yield potential for the upcoming months (Blackberry and Gorilla Glue from Fast Buds). Good luck and thanks a lot to this community. Keep growing (and destroy capitalism) 🍁000

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/6/2024- Germination Day 12 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/6/2024- Germination Day 13 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/7/2024- Germination Day 14 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water.

🌿 WEEK REPORT – BHO EXTRACTION (MIXED SPECTRUM) A Deep Dive Into My Process, My Medicine, and Safe Extraction Hello my beautiful friends, lovers, haters, followers, non-followers — the whole amazing community. 💚 Today I bring you something special. Something many ask about, something many are curious about, something many fear because they simply don’t understand it yet. BHO extraction. But done my way — patient, safe, respectful, and rooted in decades of experience. This run is a mixed-spectrum extraction made from the leftovers of my last grow cycle — a blend of gorgeous genetics from Zamnesia Seeds (thank you, Zamnesia, always 🙏💚). When I say “mixed spectrum,” I mean it: multiple strains, different cannabinoids, different terpene profiles… all coming together into one unique batch of medicine. Every run ends up with its own personality. 🔥 WHAT IS BHO? BHO stands for Butane Hash Oil, a concentrate extracted using butane as the solvent. The goal is simple: ➡️ Separate the essential oils (cannabinoids + terpenes) from the plant material. What we get after proper processing is a potent, clean, flavorful resin with a high concentration of cannabinoids. People call the final product by many names depending on texture: • Shatter • Wax • Crumble • Sap • Pull & Snap • Honey Oil Mine usually ends up somewhere between sap and wax, depending on the blend. MY EXTRACTION METHOD – SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, RESPECTFUL I use open-blast extraction with a metal tube, fitted with: a filter on the bottom small holes for controlled flow high-quality butane Here’s my process from A to Z: 1️⃣ Pack the tube I fill the metal tube with the dried material — in this case a mix of Zamnesia genetics. No need to overpack. No need to grind. I prefer a gentle hand. 2️⃣ Blast with butane (OUTDOORS ONLY) I ALWAYS do this outdoors. Never inside. Never in a garage. Never near fire. Safety is the number one rule: butane is invisible, odorless, and EXTREMELY explosive. I blast through the tube, letting the golden oil drip into a silicone plate. 3️⃣ Let the magic (and patience) work Once the extraction is complete, the plate sits in a safe, ventilated place. This is the part many people rush — but not me. I let it dry naturally, slowly, gently. All the butane must evaporate — completely. 4️⃣ Collect and work it After it dries, I scrape everything with a silicone tool and begin working it: stretching, folding, pulling, spreading — giving it that texture we are all after. 5️⃣ Long cure (at least 2 months) This is the heart of the process. I cure my BHO the same way some people cure their finest wine or aged cheese. Two months minimum. No shortcuts. This ensures: all residual butane is gone flavor improves dramatically effect becomes smoother, richer, more medicinal terpenes settle into a stable profile This is how I guarantee my final product is clean and safe for consumption. ⚠️ A VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE BHO extraction is NOT something to take lightly. You are working with a volatile, explosive gas — and for 99% of people, the ONLY safe way to do this is: 👉 OUTDOORS, in wide open space, with full ventilation. I cannot stress this enough: Butane is invisible, it pools low to the ground, and one spark is enough. Now — because I always want to be transparent with you all — here’s the truth: Yes, I do my extractions indoors. But only because: I have proper airflow and extraction fans zero flames, zero sparks, zero electronics a fully controlled environment experience doing this for decades and I'm 100% focused on safety every second of the process This DOES NOT mean anyone should copy me. I repeat: Do it outside unless your setup is engineered for safety and you fully understand the risks. Here are the universal rules: 👉 No smoking 👉 No flames 👉 No stoves, boilers, heaters 👉 No phones charging nearby 👉 No static electricity 👉 NEVER inside a closed room 👉 ALWAYS prioritize safety over speed If anyone wants to take extraction seriously, research closed-loop systems. They recover solvent, control pressure, and are the industry standard. Even though I personally use an open system, I encourage everyone to explore the safer alternatives. I personally use an open system, but closed-loop systems:• recycle the solvent • allow pressure control • yield cleaner extracts • are the professional standard Anyone serious about the craft should at least know the difference. 🌈 THE RESULT — MIXED SPECTRUM MEDICINE What comes out of this run is a beautiful, full-spectrum concentrate with: ✨ mixed terpene layers ✨ mixed cannabinoids ✨ the character of ALL strains combined A perfect example of: “Whole harvest in one drop.” Each hit carries: • fruity notes • earthy tones • some bright citrus • some deep hashy flavors And the effects? Balanced, full-body, mind-and-soul medicine. Perfect for pain, anxiety, relaxation, sleep — depending on dosage. 🙏 THANK YOU, EVERYONE Thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics. Thanks to this amazing community for the love and even for the hate — both push me forward. Thanks to everyone watching, learning, supporting, and walking with me through this green life. 🌱💚 I am grateful for every one of you. 10/5: Comparing photos from the beginning of last week and today, it was pretty decent growth. If they were stunted from being in the temporary grow bags for too long, it wasn't too badly. --Blackberry I (I call her Halle), is really purpling up well, and looking like she'll be a single uber-phat cola...no branching at all..whereas her sister is all about the branches. --Wedding Cheesecakes are consistently big and vigorous. They'll probably be the best producers of the crop. --Orange Sherbets look like clones they are so consistent in shape and leaf structures. Kinda short compared to the other varieties, but nice and bushy. --Gorilla Cookies are also identical in plant shape, but two of them are a few days ahead of the other as far as pistil production goes. Also not a very tall cultivar, but many branches. --The late/stunted Lemon Pie is praying to the sun at all times and starting to look like she belongs in the same crop. The bigger LP is gorgeous..perfect structure, the other one is catching up, but my cat keeps defoliating her.😏 ---Strawberry Pies have massive sun-blocking fan leaves that require constant tucking, but they are branching well, and a couple of them are pretty beefy. The other SP is doing fine considering her crooked trunk and slow start. 10/6: Today I noticed 9 "lone" nanners on the nodes of the crooked trunk-Strawberry Pie!😧 No clusters.. just single pollen sacs here and there.🤨 These plants have experienced no major stress at all...I'm keeping it like late-August upper-peninsula Michigan in the closet. 80f/50%RH 👌 Damnit...this is a new, stable strain, right??👈 I've seen no other SP diaries with hermaphrodites...just my fukt luck I guess.😖 I plucked them and will watch for more..and I guess I'd better keep a close eye on the other two SPs as well... I just got my wife a new 16 x 7 x 7 greenhouse frame with the green semi-translucent cover for her 4' x 12' raised bed...if i see any more sneaky nanners appear, I'll probably remove the plant(s) and move them outdoors to finish in there. I swore I'd not do any training this run, but while removing the pollen sacs I couldn't resist opening up and tieing down some branches on the hermie.🤷 10/9: I fed them.

Start of week 8 (day 50). Started the week off with a little recharge&water. I had to rig up some branch supports to compensate for compounding nugs. I'm pretty sure a pack of papers is a standard measurement? I've been struggling to get out of bed from knee pain (awaiting my 3rd surgery). And really not sleeping at all. Hopefully this lady will ripen early and give me some relief. Happy Gardening any suggestions or comments are appreciated 👴🏼🔥🖖✌️🙏🌱 ¤ End of week 8 and the garden is smelling great. I'm scheduled for knee surgery next Tuesday and will be down for an unseen amount of time. Happy Gardening

Just wow…still kinda shocked everytime I look in the tent and see how massive this girl is! Feeding her 1200ppm every two days at this point. Probably going to need some supports soon!

Chopped her down right after these photos. Had one little area with bud rot! The humidity has been crazy high and she was almost perfectly ready, but needed one more week. Chopping down to avoid any more! She smells like pine gas! Foxtails are from the temps swings. Happy with the turn out because Mother Nature was not kind to this lady! ✌️💚🌿💨. Results after dry!

I was feeding a MKP (low nitrogen, hugh potassium and phosphorus... For the last week. Switching back to bloom nutes with calcium and magnesium. Then the final week will be straight water. Everything looks good, however i may have done a little more pruning then necessary, but they are really starting to beef up.

We were flushing at this point, aiming for a Day 60-64 harvest. Was super impressed with Ayahuasca Purple and LSD genetics for our environment. The Cookies Kush could have used a few more weeks to reach her full potential but still put off decent weight nonetheless. Shoutout Barney's Farms for putting out high quality, affordable genetics! Respect.

Some of the buds/ leafs were starting to turn brown. It seems like it was a bit past it's prime, I harvested on day 60 of flower. The strain was 56-63 days Jack Herer by pHenos Nursery. The trichoms looked ready, I did have some issues that I've noted in previous weeks but it smells amazing and I can't wait for it to finish drying and curing!
