Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. Things are going good in here this week. I'm starting to see some yellowing of some of the older leaves as the plants are pulling back nutrients to keep the buds going. It's the last week of food for the girls. I'll be starting flushing next week. I've got a few branches of seeds going so I won't flush too hard the first week. It smells wonderful in here. Smells like sweet hard chalky lemon/citrus candy with some skunky undertones. Delicious. I volunteer at the local observatory and when I drove up the hill this week I thought what are those trees with the silvery leaves. So no one was behind me so I slowed to see what trees they were. All the maple trees had bad white powdery mildew on their leaves. It's been a long cold wet spring this year but it's supposed to get hot this weekend, enough to stop the WPM? or all the maples will lose their leaves early. I don't see any on my zucchini plant yet. It's usually the first to get it. OK. Have fun. Chuck.

I have not been able to spend much time with the plants so was glad i found an hour to transplant them to 5g, not so excited on missing the watering on this one. LOL but she came back the next day strong as ever

What's up Grow Diaries family, super excited to have another grow in addition to the Gelatos. This time is a little different since it will be a new experience for me. First time growing an auto flower strain, first time using Bio Tabs, and first time using the quantum board for the full cycle. I usually use the QB304 for vegging, but since I got a 2'x2' tent. It'll be dedicated for that space. I finally got a hold of some FastBuds seeds but I've been losing sleep contemplating on which strain to grow. I have some LSD-25 and Blackberry, which are fantastic strains (based on what i've seen). It came down to a coin toss and LSD-25 was chosen. Come and join me in this new journey. I've read up on how to grow autos and all that but I know there are plenty of seasoned veterans out there that could share some knowledge. Week 1 - Prepped Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil by mixings BioTabs Startrex and Mycotrex. I know there's been a lot of debate about using 3 gal vs 5 gal for autos but I'm using a 5 gal. fabric pot since that's what I have and probably would still buy a 5 gal instead of a 3. But who am I, I'm another first time auto grower. Hahaha! Let me know your thoughts on this. Light cycle is set to 20 hours instead of the usual 12/12, 18/6, 24. I was debating on running the lights 24/7 but wanted to have period when the plant rest. Not too sure if autos need it but my electric bill could use a break. Soaked the seed overnight and sown into soil approximately 1/2 in. Placed a humidity dome (solo cups 😉) over the site to keep humidity up. Humidity in the room is around 45% which is pretty low for germination. Temperature at 78°F which is good. Within the next day or so, we should have this sprouting out of the soil. Once that happens, an update will soon to follow. UPDATE: 11/9/2018 Day 1 LSD-25 finally sprouted 😃. Relative humidity has been low at 35ish%, keeping a humidity dome/spraying Ph'd water to keep her happy until she gets a little bit bigger. If the humidity levels stay this low, I'll be putting in the humidifier until conditions get better. Enjoy the new pictures and stay tuned for the next update! Day 3 - RH has been going down to the teens so I added the humidifier for now. Conditions are a lot better and is now in the 70's. Increased the blower speed to kinda balance out the incoming dry air. Day 4 - Dialed in the incoming air by adjusting the blower and vent. Humidifier doing it's thing getting RH at 72%. Saturated the soil with regular tap water + Bactrex + Orgatrex + Cal-Mag. We'll see how this goes since no PH or EC readings required with BioTabs. I do plan on using Real Growers Recharge once she gets out of the seedling stage. Once she starts flowering, Mammoth P will be used 😉 Day 5 - Leaves are pointing up, this could be a bad thing right? I think it's due to the low humidity and possibly light burn. Humidifier was setup yesterday so maybe she just needs to get reacclimatized to her new environment. I also increased the light distance a couple of inched just in case. Day 6 - Seems like the leaves are starting to level out and color is starting to look better 😀 Day 7 - End of week 1! Well she just keeps surprising me I thought she was close but she just keeps getting bigger and thicker and stinkier so he’ll yeah. She is getting some beastie blooms nothing else at this point.

So apart from the really low yields.... Which I expected from 80% Indica dominant strains just not that low considering how dense the Budz were. But I can say my growing skills have been consistently improving and it is showing with each grow. With these ladies I should have definitely put them in a 12Litre pot or smaller and still would have gotten the same results if not better. So I lesson learnt for future grows..... To take into consideration the size pots I'm using on the strains I'm running! 👍🏾 But in all very great smoke, even more excited for the next rows that I have coming with the improvements I will be making. 👍🏾🌱💚 Another thing I will say is that I will be putting more effort into how I document my harvest for you guys.... More pictures, better videos showing off the Budz.... Not many pictures because I done smoked it all 😅😅🔥🔥🔥 but still I want to do better for you guys, I want to give people the best view/review of the strains that I run... Heute wieder mal ein Update, langsam gehts mir echt nur noch auf den Keks mit diesem Koffer. Die komplette Hälfte der Pflanze wird durch die Lampe völlig verbrannt. Ich warte jetzt echt nur noch auf den Moment an dem die Minibuds erntebereit sind 😢

Not much to tell this week, happy to say that she's been doing well over the last week while she has been flushed with ph'd tap water! She is now getting close to harvest time, I think I might let her flush for a couple of days more before I harvest her😁 She is a little older and further along than the rest of the tent, so she will be the only one to be harvested and I will let the three other run until I see amber trichomes develop on them! I planted her a little earlier than the three others to allow me to use her as my "test dummy" for my first run, and so I could make corrections for the other three early on! But even though she has been my tester and has taken a bit of abuse from time to time while I was still more unsure of everything at the start, she has still turned out way better than I ever had dared to hope for when I started this journey over 100 days ago, and the heavy aroma shes giving off is amazing and she has developed some of the more dense nugs out of my four girls so far! 🙏 But yeah I'm thinking that I will harvest her tomorrow or the day after at the latest to let me get a trail run off on drying before I harvest the other three girls, just to make sure I get that process down! But the next update that I will come with will be after the harvest if things goes to plan, and like I said I am soo excited for that day to come and get my next run started! 😁 Happy growing everyone! and thank you for all the encouragement and comments, it has really helped a lot and I will for sure stay active on the community and make a dairy for my next run too!
