Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 2 of my Blueberries were root bound one more than the other.. i transplanted them into soil in a bigger pot. I Have a bunch of strains going on but one vegging mother soon ready to get in under the CFL. Loving the HPS tho wont go back to LED any time soon. Feeding with CANNA terra nute line and using the last Bud candy and big bud from Advanced Nutrients before going full canna. The monster crop was a succes but it took long before shooting. Hope my other clone will do better. I have a very healthy strawberry banana that will be my motherplant as well as a sweet valley kush that are just a seedling now. I am very happy with the HPS from phillips it work wonder in my oppinion :) I started 12/12 as well this week

This week was bright and warm. The fan leaves started to turn purple, I added a bit of Bio-Grow to help it last until the harvest. The trichomes are cloudy overall. Next week will be the harvest 😎

All right guys today is day 47 and as you can see she is progressing well.. she's like the perfect little cannabis plant smaller than I'm used to do to the organics and small pot standing at only 20 in but she's looking really good and I'm really looking forward to seeing if there is a difference aside from yield obviously... Hello. This is the end of week 11 and the beginning of week 12 of veg. Wow, These plants have doubled in size since last week. I'm guessing the roots found the compost. I put in 2 gallons of compost in each pot this year and was worried the soil might be too hot for the plants. But they look good. No burnt or wilted leaves. Showed some yard flowers. After all this site is about the flowers, eh! 😄 Repotted the twins and the extra plant and I will flower them inside under the mars Hydro FC-4800 in the main grow room. They will be harvested before the plants in the greenhouse and I'll show it here. Haven't had a good berry strain in awhile. Looking forward to the taste. Showed how I use the plastic pots. I prefer the plastic pots to the cloth pots, but I still use some cloth. When the roots get into the landscapers cloth, I can bottom water better. It doesn't hold a lot of water, I don't have to worry about mold. and I get better air transfer to the roots. Ok. Be Great. Chuck.

In my opinion, the canopy of 1,2, and 3 were growing vertically again so I wanted to make it more even, I tied them down to 2 nodes lower after bending the mainstem in a 90-degree angle. Week 12 - Day 6 : Unknown information Week 12 - Day 7 : Unknown information Note : * = Changed watering schedule to giving 4 Liters per plant per day since day 3 during week 12, currently giving 6 liters a day per plant due to extreme temperature change. Might drop back to 5 Liters per plant per day depending on weather conditions. Note : Haven't been giving nutrients to my plants since the beginning of week 12, will be giving nutrients again at the end of week 14. The plants are having 2 weeks of flushing and seeing if they are in need of nutrients or not. Pretty happy with the final results from this grow, both times I have done this strain though I have had different results, the plant structure is great to be fair so I don't actually think a lot of training is required with this one but its exciting to see how big they can go! I will defo go for a 3rd time on this strain in the future so will look forward to that but in the mean time I shall have some of fastbuds gelato potted up in the next week or 2 to start a new diary :)

The end of week 9. This week was a bit of a struggle due to temperatures. Airco was missing and a replacement was found after a week. The increasing temperatures caused heat stress to all four plants and slowed growth. The buds are now starting to mature and ripen. The fade is starting now. The trichomes are still underdeveloped with 50% cloudy and 50% translucent. EC will be lower again this week. I'm hoping it will be ready before day 80. Check my other diaries for the progress with the other medusa plants.

Engorde weenooo engoorde real jajajajaja Bueno, pues buenas noticias dado que la población tan bestia de araña roja ha descendido a minimos! Por lo general ni veo ya, pero se que aún queda alguna, por ello, les meteré una limpieza mas con aceite de neem y jabón potásico, pero una sola mas, quizá esta noche o ya mañana. A partir de esta aplicación ya se acabo el uso de estos productos, y el siguiente lavado foliar que le haré será un té de canela, haré un concentrado hirviendo agua y con canela en polvo, filtrándolo para wue no quede residuo. Esto lo haré con intenciones antifungicas y de controlar un poco mas la humedad para mantener los bichos controlados. PD: cada vez levanta mas mi curiosidad esta variedad, se va viendo muy blanquita y eso mola jajaja espero que saque cogollos gordos y con eso cumpliría un cupo de requisitos muy top, REALMENTE TOP, para mas adelante, cuando disponga del segundo armario (para madres y esquejes), la cruzaré con una regular de hash plant que tengo... Imagínate lo que pueda salir de ahí!
