Watering less at a time but more often now. Spent some time twisting the main stem to assist in bending her over. Secured down between the first and second node of 3 currently. Stem is very rigid so I moved some soil around the base to relieve some stress on the base. LST seems to be doing great since I was forced to move the tie downs from the main stem to the fan leaves. Watering with Real Growers Recharge on 5/2/22.

Day 15 - First day in the second week of veg cycle and I am generally happy with both ladies. Cheech is looking like she is bending over a little with the weight of her leaves, so I’ve given her a bit of help to keep her steady and strong. I’ve also noticed that the roots on Cheech are sticking together and a bit darker than I would like. This could mean that the air stone left a “dead spot” where the water wasn’t circulating properly. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more centre in the bucket and made sure that the water is cold enough to prevent potential root rot. Will need to keep a close eye for the next week or so. Lights have been not been adjusted (still at 60cm from seedlings) because there has only been about a 2cm growth in the last week. Changed the water (10L), buckets and nutrients to keep everything healthy. The tubes for the air bubblers are wiped down because the nutrients stick to the pipe. Milwaukee PH controller is running for about 1 hour to bring the PH down again from the addition of the nutrients and change in water. Day 17 and we have a clear front runner in Cheech. Her third node is open with a fourth clearly visible. Venezia has a clear third node, but it isn’t fully open yet with the fourth just barely starting. Day 20 - Cheech has a clear fourth node now and the fifth is starting to show whereas Venezia is one node behind. They are looking healthy and they will be ready to be topped in the coming week of veg

Unfortunately my digital timer was defective and made the flowering phase delay by 2 weeks. From one side, this delay allowed them to stretch a bit more. On the other side, it made me start giving bloom nuts with bad timing, thinking the bloom phase was already started. In other words, I gave bloom nuts in the last 2 weeks of veg. This means I’ll have to give them “week 3” bloom nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). Let’s now talk about the lady: well, she’s growing like a monster: 73cm!!!! She is the biggest of the grow room. She’s been growing 7-8 cm every day in the last days. That’s impressive! Woohoo, I love sativassssss! They will make you feel like a king, and they will be your queens 👸 By the way, sativas are WILD, and they make you sweat before showing their pistils. That’s what’s happening now. As well as the two Euphoria, they’ve not shown anything but a small pre-flower (not even a pistil for the moment). We’ll see in the next days. D71/F19 - 11.25 - Got them all defoliated. Everything is looking open, lots of light for the flowers, lots of room to grow and good airflow. I've got a couple co2 bags hanging in there too now. D75/F24 - 11.29 - Responded well to defoliation. Getting chunky! <3

Hello, I prepared a good natural soil for this cultivation, here we have a lot of earthworm humus, horse manure that I prepared and a little bone meal among other components, the idea is to take only water and some soil coverings in case of shortages . This time I think I managed to form a light and loose soil, the solution was to use a lot of dry leaves crushed and sifted in the soil, we have life here!

April 11 Just got done with some serious defoliation. Removing all kinds of nodes that would have wound up as less than popcorn bud while taking up valuable space in the light. Some of the tips of the leaves up top got sacrificed as I waited to feed for a bit too long while I wanted for a calmag solution to be delivered. Little ugly, but no worse for the wear.

They will be all alone without any supervision so hopefully they will behave and I will be nicely surprised of their development on my return. Watered with 2tr mixture and sprayed with water and fish mix solution right after defoliation. My gorilla melons transitioning into flower this week. Not much change in height yet but I will get a good measurement next week. I haven't had to water this plant much at all this whole summer but now that I have the canopy up top I'm gonna have to start watering more. Last day of this week got a mix of compost tea with some liquid fish. It got around 8 gallons.
