DAY 42 F: Another roasting week in the grow room. Temps have been hitting 37°c still and keeping them watered has been a battle. The water has been taken up instantly and they had built up a little too much nute in the soil. We have a major yellowing of 2 of the middle row plants ( mango x mimosa fast bud cream cookie) They are still building buds but you can see the effort is taking them without the green for photosynthesis. Hopefully they will be fixable over the coming days. The Banana mash are doing well and even with the heat issues , still bud building. They have shaggy looking buds at present but I am confident they will become more solid soon and swell more. They have a pungent banana hit now and they are so tacky to touch too. The mutant #4 has really spread put at the back of the middle row and is producing some nice looking buds too. Purple Monkey continue to make me drool when I handle them and the buds up close look so edible. With their sweet candy smell and pinky/reds , i cant wai to try these out. They are just pushing their second pistil flush so should swell nicely over the next week or so. The heat has not bothered these at all it seems and keeping them nice and areated to avoid mould being able to form has been this weeks task. All fed and watered for the day now . Starting week 4 flower now. Theses ladies are doing great. No signs of any deficiency thus far. Decided to hold off on potash at this point. Noticed ladies fighting for light hard and middle lady trying to take it all. I removed the exhaust fan and opened the tent on the sides. Then I added another king led 4000w light. Both 24 in with bloom only turned on at a par of 850. That was done on Saturday, and by Sunday could already see a big difference in bud production. Added recharge with last watering. Hoping the ladies continue on happy and building!

Ab geht es in die nächste Woche alle Ladys machen hervorragende vortschritte in die breite. Zudem sind die Abstände der neuen Abzweigungen relativ gering und gleichmäßig. Aktuelles setting: 18/6 Zyklus 60-75% Luftfeuchtigkeit Temperaturen liegen zwischen 20 und 25 Grad regelmäßig. Der Ventilator kommt täglich für 10 Std zum Einsatz allerdings noch gegen die Wand gerichtet damit die Luft Abprallen kann und frühstens 2 Std nachdem das Licht eingeschaltet wurde da die Ladys meiner Meinung nach den Tag nicht direkt mit Stress beginnen sollen :) Zudem entwickelt sich bei einer Pflanze (Welche vermutlich eine andere Sorte ist vom aussehen her) einen stark bekannten Haze Geruch der mich direkt zum lächeln bringt wenn ich sie besuche! :) PPFD: 470 DLI: 30,5 LUX: 18.000 Kelvin: 5100 Dünger bisher nicht verwendet da sie noch frisch umgetopft sind und der Biobizz Light mix laut angaben und Infos von anderern Growern für 2-3 genug Nährstoffe besitzt. Week 9 Flush week for PE1 & PL1. Most pistils are brown or are browning and a large portion of trichomes are turning milky with some turning brown so, another week and they should be ready to harvest. PE2 still has little more time and should follow a week after. PE1 is looking and smelling mighty tasty. She's filled out nicely with clearly defined chunky buds. I just can't wait to trim those down. Despite being outside I can smell the pineapples on the groundfloor at the other end of the garden 😂 PE2 is also looking beautiful but still, has a few weeks left in her. The lemonade could be chopped now in my opinion however, I wanted this one to be my nightime smoke so i'm going to let her mature another week and chop along with PE1. She's so compact I can't really tell where each bud site is, guess i'll find out soon. I've also been preparing my shed for drying. Last season I used the office and stunk the entire house out, it was so strong at one point it made me feel a little sick. My wife, well, she was NOT happy; I'am amazed how she puts up with all my shit, she's an awesome girl. So rather than put us all through that again Inchose the shed. The challenge with the shed was to get rid of the smell. The people who lived here previously stored pool chemicals in there so it took me a few months to get any residual smell of chlorine etc out. It now just smells like somewhere dark so, should be good. The only concern is airflow. I have a fan in there but there's no ventilation. I could keep the door open but I don't want to encourage anyone to go looking for its source 😁

I did some barrier as is the last week i can do foliar spray as these bastards but furthermore is really a red flag as u can create the conditions for contract some fungi. By a lot of having still figuring out the perfection of both illumination & thermals , still trying to enhance the light spectrum , and doing the first interaction with uv exposition to check that plants dont stress or physically burn, as i want to do the uv shit for late flowering as i expect by genetics this shit SHOULD BE A QUICK FLOWERING so, im entering to late flowering and do it for entire 4 weeks and then consider if plants show that are ripe enough, considering there is a quick underdeveloped automatic at bottom on a 12/12 scenario, and thus that motherfucker will not be forgiven by it unstability of this batch. 👻 Also i noticed i had slight fox-tailing that was quite provoked by messed up outside weather, so i still may need to ellaborate on lights to prevent excess of generated heat as well, as can incur in some penalty . I have a faint idea how to deal with as HEAT HERE WILL BE HELL.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Time to start feeding her! She is doing ok but a little smaller compared to other diaries. I figure its because the heat. I’m hoping this is the week she starts to run. Wish me luck!!

More like HST instead of LST. This week was all about low stress training or lst. But as it was for the very first time I would say it was more of a high stress trainig (for me of course). First ties I started already the previous week but this week was hard tie downs on pretty much every branch. Since I messed up the first week and put my lights on almost max power the plants didnt strech out for light and are pretty low and bushy. Thats why the space is really tight and lst is just the thing to do. I used a metal string since I think its better because I can adjust it more and all tension is not on the string. For the past 2 weeks or so I noticed some weird spots on one leaf. This week it went on 3 more leafs and on one more plant. After some research I found out thats a serious Calcium defficiency. Since I’m not from US I didn’t have the same things as in videos I watched. So I didnt get the regular cal mag. But instead some from local store and I must say it was bad choice. Way too less calcium. Ordered a proper one and hopefully it will come in the next fee days. Another interesting thing happened. At the beginning I was cinsidering toping. But after researching more decided no to go with it on the first grow. As the lack of calcium appeared I went full blast with feeding. And it appears thats I was underfeeding, since I thought that my coco was too wet. Guess what happened when I went from once in 3days to twice per day. Thats right. The growth was massive ! One of the metal strings somehow got stuck in the plant and when this acceleration happened it simply snaped itself of 😳 I must say I was a bit sad at the moment, but then I figured it’s some form of self-toping. Not that I wanted it to happen on my strongest plant. But will see what will happen out of it. Alltogether this was a nice week full of wide strech and a lot of new knowledge!

GUSH MINTZ

Wow she is huge. Flowers are everywhere and all very very frosty. Buds are getting taller and fatter with each day. I'm trying to balance her feeds as I have some bug issues and I don't want overly wet soil ATM so I have been feeding from the bottom letting her roots soak it all up. Predators arrive in the week but they seem to be leaving this one alone and picking on her 4 daughters instead. Temps at night are becoming an issue so will deploy my green house heating tube to try and keep temps near 20 at night. Was 15c last night.... I hope for more growth through this week.
