Day29 12/12 light

PKBR #2 is showing a couple leaves of what appears to be cal mag issues + senescence fading. I expect I’ll be able to ride it out til finish. It also happens to be the best smelling pheno in the tent at the moment. Drinking has slowed down as stretching ends. Stopped defoliating in any significance after day 21 of flower to minimize herm risks. So far everyone looks happy and healthy Week 11end = 8/10

The 3rd and final girl has been trimmed, weighed and placed into curing jars! She added another 78grams making the total come to 219grams! I'm fairly happy with the result of my first grow! Id like to thank the community here on growdiaries. Without the hours I've spent looking through diaries, getting ideas, and learning, I've found this site invaluable! I hope my fellow growers keep on taking pics and sharing their experiences! Being my first grow and having to deal with manitoba flood humidity during late flower i believe i ended up with a decent harvest sitting in my jars. I really look forward to growing another photo strain in the future and perfecting my results but I think I'll be doing a run of autos first so I'll be back 😎😎 Post cure edit: These frosty buds matured into a dream to smoke. They really kick your ass and leave you breathless in a nice indica daze. Would not recommend for medical use for anyone with lung issues or super old smokers... but if you got some young lungs and wanna get fucked up, some good old OG kush will get it done boy! This week I decided it was time to employ some LST. Really I should have just done LST and not topped them, aside from the largest one which responded well. They weren't putting out fast enough growth to take to topping well, and I've learned my lesson. That's why my autos haven't done so well in the past. I'm still learning😬 So in order to get as much as I can out of them as we enter flowering, we're doing a little LST this week. Earlier in the week I did have to bring them in the hoop house on 7/11 because we got a lot of rain that day, our basement flooded and the water got so high in the stream that it washed the bridge out. So I think I made the right decision otherwise they may have gotten lockout. I also changed their feed a bit. I added in some Neptunes Harvest Fish Fertilzer 2-4-1 with the Alaska 5-1-1 in equal portions on the 13th and will continue with it tonight. I may add a little molasses as well. Most of what I was trying to accomplish with each plant is explained in the video. Enjoy!

I used to watering with clean water for week now some rainies days coming 😏

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had plenty of rain this morning with partly to mostly cloudy skies. The high temperature was 86°F Day 2 we had a high temperature of 91°F. Skies were clear but it was super humid. I defolated some more today. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94° with partly cloudy to clear skies. It was super hot and humid. I watered 3-4 gallons from the well. I'm defoliating a few leaves here and there and opening these girls up. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 94 with average humidity of 94. Skies were cloudy and we had thunderstorms that produced high winds and heavy rainfall. Several of my 7 gallon pots that hadn't rooted into the ground were blown over. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 83°F. It was super humid today and we had a very heavy fog this morning. I watered about 4 gallons of well water. Day 6 we had cooler weather today with a high temperature of 78°F. Skies were partly cloudy and I watered about 3 gallons from the hose. Day 7 we had cooler weather again oday with a high temperature of 79°F. Skies were mostly sunny and I watered about 3 gallons from the hose. Overall this week was a success. Unfortunately all three plants have powdery mildew. They are being treated with a bio fungicide. I'm removing leaves a little at a time. I'm going to be more aggressive next week in trying to get this under control. This weather has not helped. We have had one of the wettest, most humid summer since I've been here. Powdery mildew is on several of the native plants along our tree line and yard. It's been an issue and typically fastbuds have had a lot of resistance. This weather has been brutal and I'll be doing what I can to keep this under control. I didn't feed any this week as the plants are showing signs of excess phosphorus and the feather meal breaks down to feed slowly.

9/25: Harvested them, washed and hung to dry for 5 days, then alternated from jars to brown paper bags for a several more days. Final thoughts: This strain proved to be very indica in both growth characteristics and effect. I really like it as a "medicinal" variety..great for stress/anxiety or insomnia. The buds are super "greasy" and dank while growing and once dry. They didn't stretch much, and had hardly any lateral branching, unlike their mother. They didn't take up any more space than their pots. Would have been perfect for a single-strain SOG. Very heavy for shorter, cola-only plants...buds are really really dense. Plant A: 72g Plant B: 75g Plant C: 75g Plant D: 71g Potency: 9/10 Yield: 8/10 Flavor: 8/10 Aroma: 8/10 Bag-appeal: 10/10 Ease of growing: 10/10

Week 7 day 52: Ladies are not drinking as much it seems. Probably will continue to water 1.5gal every 3 days. Gave it some build a bloom today 6/29/22 as a final push. Just water from now on. They are just working on fattening up. Still throwing some white hairs but it is not much and trichomes are 20 % clear, 70% cloudy with the remaining 10% amber from what i can tell. I learned today, while using a microzoom hand held camera, that i am very shaky! I need to rig something up to hold the camera in place to get better pics.

Love these two strains. This is my first outdoor grow with fast buds. They both smell great. I need to get some Dr Zymes soon to help with little pests other than that it's been smooth growing

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent.
