and yet another grow has ended....

Started off week 2 of flowering on 11/19. All of the ladies look good with the Tangerine Dream being the only set of clones to start showing bud sights and not just pre-flowering. Did a significant amount of clipping and clipped most of the fan leaves on the main colas of my ladies and side branches too. I also began playing classical music for them! True to it’s genetics my Tangerine Dreams are putting off numerous side branches with side branches coming off those branches! Since flowering my Cotton Candy has grown the most. Before flowering it was just barely half the height of my TDs and now they’re taller! As for the Chronic Thunder it’s always been the tallest but in flowering it’s focus has all been on the side branches without me even topping it.

Apart from the spot on the leaf she’s growing fine I guess. Weather has been getting better during the day but still cold at night 7-10 d.celcius. I considered topping her but since this is technically part of my first grow I’m going to let her grow all natural. Any advice always welcome!

most of the buds look to be turning darker and about 60-70% of the hairs are turning orange now and only some lower buds still have white hairs standingup. very close to chop day ! :) im trying to be patient on starting my next ones so i can use the tent to dry first but its hard !!! i started to get worried about the green stuff on the stem thinking it was algae or something so i started leaving the light on 24/7 to finish her off, wondering if i should harvest the done parts and leave the bottom 25%(ish) to finish maturing. any advice or comments are welcome and very appreciated! i have 2 bubba kush photoperiod seeds, and the rest are autoflowers so i think i will save the photos until i get a few more grows under my belt or another tent. i have 1 purple punch, 4 bloody skunk, 1 forbidden runtz, and 1 gorilla cookies that i have to choose from for my next grow. what do yall think i should pick? since i have 4 bloody skunk i may just do 1 of those and 1 of the fastbuds.

As mentioned before, I was traveling and let the plants do their own thing. This turned out to be the perfect test for a living soil grow. The only manual intervention was a friend adjusting the grow lights, something that can easily be automated in the future as well. The plants look absolutely fantastic. In the pictures and videos provided, they’ve already been trimmed a bit. My mistake for not documenting the true “sea of green” when I first opened the tent after three weeks. The biggest leaves were larger than my hand, it was ridiculous. I’ve honestly never seen anything like that in an indoor grow before. I’m back now and will continue with weekly updates. The next step is installing the SCROG net and switching the light schedule to 12/12. They’re more than ready to go into flower. Aside from using a bit of root juice at the very beginning, I haven’t added any fertilizer at all and the results speak for themselves. I can highly recommend everyone to try Brotanics living soil especially for beginners, lazy people or as add in for professional organic grower

Sunday, 28-08-2022 Stretching up and out and looking good. Top-dressed midweek with 60 ml Humic Acid flakes. Foliar sprayed yesterday with The Amazing Doctor Zymes Eliminator(TADZE). Plants continue to seem pest free since starting to use TADZE. Only one midweek feed due to pots being saturated with rain on previous weekend. Supplemented feed today with Beneficial Booster comprised of 50 ml molasses, 125 ml EMAS and 15+ ml~ Recharge in 12 litres stored rain water with the molasses diluted in 950 ml filtered tap water, rain water EC=0~, final EC 1.7.

MONDAY: Taking all those cuttings last week seems to have really triggered her auxins, all branches are stretching, even the ones I cut from, but her main is reeeaaalllly stretching.. I think I'm gonna have to either top her or supercrop her. I've got to keep her height down so she isn't too much of a pain to deal with in a tent full of her little clones. this fall. Or maybe I'll just stick her in a closet somewhere and keep about 15 watts on her all winter long, then take some more cuttings to put outdoors? I wish I know for sure how well she smelled/tasted/intoxicated. I'd hate to learn she's a super-plant and not be able to grow her again... WEDNESDAY: I gave her a drink of water with bud candy and calimagic and started foliar feeding with Flower's Kiss. THURSDAY: I checked her clones today...4 have rooted very well and going into 3 gal pots tomorrow. Foliar fed her and told her how beautiful she looks. FRIDAY: I gave her a gallon of grow nutes including Microbe Brew and also started her on Terpinator. I planted 7 of her clones in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots today. They are sharing the 4 x 4 tent with the 6 x White Widow + 1 x Candy Cane seedlings for now. SATURDAY: I planted 7 of her clones today in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots. I added two new blue/cold white LED panels to the 4 x 4 tent. They are kickass. Very low heat and excellent coverage. The 2 lights is overkill for this space, but I like it....a lot. So much so, that I will order 4 of them in 660nm deep red for flowering..two for the 4 x 4 and two for the 5 x 4. I also bought and installed a 16' string of 300 Cold White (7000k)/Warm White (2800k) strip lights(150 each). It has a remote control which lets me change over to warm white for flowering...or have steady cold white and pulse warm white..or whatever. I think that they will serve as excellent low-heat side/corner lighting. Kinda pricey because in addition to the lights, you have to buy a controller and power supply, but they seem very effective. I plan to order another set for the 4 x 4 tent. But, it's a double-row set (600 leds) ..one row of lights is warm white, and the other is RGB adjustable, so I can run 440nm blues for veg and 660nm reds for flower. I plan to keep them just below the canopy so as to illuminate the secondary and tertiary buds as much as possible. Once this concept is proven (and once I save the money), I'll do the same thing in the 4 x 5 tent. Update: Ok, so I've decided I'm only kinda happy with the strip lights.. I've decided to try velcroing 4 of those 4' integrated led tube lights in cold white for veg and warm white for flower to my horizontal poles. The cold white(6500k) are 2-rows of lights that pull 36w and put out 3000 lumens each and the warm white(2700) are single row pulling 24w at 2200 lumens each.

Flower Week 3 / Day 2: The plants each received 2 liters of water and nutrients. I only gave them half the dose of fertilizer. They are doing wonderful. The leaves have a rich green color and are praying. Flower Week 3 / Day 5: Today I defoliated them again a little, as some parts were getting a bit too bushy. They are now quite sticky and the trichomes glisten in the light. Unfortunately, it doesn't look quite the same on the video. All of Taylor's buds develop evenly. In Beyoncé's case, one half is already well developed and the other half behaves completely differently. In any case, both are healthy. Perhaps it is also due to the genetics of the plant.

All popped tails after 48 hours in water and then after approx 24 hours outside in solo cups they all started to break soil.

Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Hello Diary, Apollo F1 is in full bloom, progressing nicely. The flowers fill in nicely, they are hard and compact and take on an increasingly intense scent. It progresses quite quickly considering the fourth week of flowering. In this week he reached his maximum height, at the last measurement I found that he has not grown since last week. Watering has become a little more frequent, I have to water every three days because they drink a lot of water. I continued this week with the addition of nutrients, bio flowering booster and easy bloom tablets. The conditions inside the grow box are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is around 45%. Here's a quick recap of the week. 12/06/2023 - Day 44. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, added all three components from the bio flowering booster, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and with that amount I watered all three plants evenly. 15/06/2023 - Day 47. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water again, inserted one easy bloom tablet, lowered the pH. and again with that amount I watered all three plants on the farm. 17/06/2023 - Day 49. Chopped on day 82, and dried for 8 days. Produced 27.9 grams (1 Oz) of flower. The yield isn't great, but it's my fault due to stressing and transplanting the plant. I had to fix her and by time she was back on track, the yield was severely impacted. However, the quality seems great. Now time for curing.
