Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. I did however leave the fan-leaves attached to the new top node and for W.C #1 I left another set of fan-leaves for an extra boost as she’s a bit behind. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. Lastly I removed the extra 2 fan-leaves I had left on WC #1 as her new tops are growing nicely and turned up the light slightly. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foliar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more.

The seeds had 100% germ rate and started all very strong and they are all emerging from the soil at an even pace with no stragglers. The plants are just popping out the soil today. I’m excited to grow these new fast buds fem strains. They are breaking out into a different market with the fem seeds. They had the one drop of fem seeds but now these new ones are a whole different story I’m excited. I know they will do great.

As you can see from the third picture on day 29 she is looking a little ugly and unkept. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or something I need to take action on. Advice would be great. So day 30 rolling around. Decided I had to try LST again. She felt more receptive to being bent over today as well. I mainly had to attempt it for space reasons. With the current covid panic all the markets where I buy my buckets from are closed and I can't procure a new one to increase my height for probably a couple of weeks at this rate so LST was my only option. She seems to have taken well to it and I will upload a finished picture of her shortly. Day 32, watered and fed her. 500ml of water plus .3ml each of fox farm trio. Hoping to see her perk up a bit. Concerned about the large brown spot on one of her leaves which made me think she was having a deficiency? Probably a bit early to worry about buds fattening up also but I am worried they are looking a bit airy at the moment on the non main cola sites. I'm not sure if my LST was effective at tricking her into trying to have more than one top cola? Day 33. No noticeable gains today, at least to my eyes. I can spot a little nute burn perhaps but hopefully nothing too serious. Looks like a cola that isn't the original top is starting to fill out just as much, if not more, than the original top though. Hoping they all catch up at a similar pace to each other and reduce the pop corn nug potential! Day 35. She has shown a few more bud sites since last post. I am worried that she is going to produce a fair bit of larf/popcorn bud and wanted to know how to get rid of that? I am not confident to remove any growth without knowing for sure it has a beneficial impact on the overall health of the plant and the final results. Any advise is appreciated. She also seemed a bit thirsty to me. The leaves were feeling a bit thin and dry so I gave her 1L of water with .7ml each of fox farm trio. Hopefully she responds well. I will check her in an hour or so to see if the leaves are starting to point back up - fingers crossed.

Final weeks the temperature dropped under 17celcius when lights were off.

Minimalste berechnete Menge. 08.04 oh, diese Stille im Zelt. Nix fliegt zirpt summt herum. (bumm bumm ). Sieht doch gut aus. 11.04. 16 h Licht ab jetzt. Und, Day 31 flower 7. Sehr schöne Entwicklung, wie ich finde.

CALIFORNIAN GOLD DWC 19th April 2024 8 Weeks of flowering finished and I have emptied the rez and refilled with plain rainwater . I don't know how important ph'ing the water is for the flushing week but just to be sure , I dropped it to 5.7 👌 She sure smells good and the harvest window is fast approaching . I'll give her as many days as she needs to finish up and I'll cut her down . See ya's next week and Thanks again for stopping by 👍

Day 43 Flowering: Good day all. Hope we are keeping green and mean. Thr Fast Buds ladies have been showingnoff this week with lots of pistil popping and colours beginning to show through now. Six shooter is still a small lady and will nondoubt stay short and stocky. She has a high leaf to bud ratio which is a little dissapointing but her attempt to swallow the leaves should hopefully help that come harvest time. Her smell is getting stronger now and very sweet. Now she is in her own space with direct light, she has picked up a little and shows signs of using the energy boost now. Strawberry Pie is filling out nicely now with buds stacking up. She does look a little burnt leafed from a slightly high dose of feed but sorted now and I do think she needs some cal mag next feed too. She is a decent size andnher buds are really starting to look unique and sassy. Mexican Airline has been the star of these ladies so far and still is . Her buds are very attractive and have a very unique look to them. The camera doesn't pick up the reds and pink that are starting to appear alongside the orange. She smells so strong now too . I am so looking forward to trying her when she is done, until then I will just have to drool in vain. lol They had a good saturation feed today and started to hit runoff before I finished fully. Rhey all seem to burst with growth each day after a feed so fingers crossed I can feed them to the sweet spot to use it all. Happy Days here so far. I have been away for a week but thanks to my automated watering the plant had all the nutrients it needed. Well for the most part there were definitely a few yellowing fans leaves close to the bottom, which I think however was a result of underwatering due to being away and trying to water as less as possible

Hi all, sorry for the delay, all continues to go very well, she is handling the nutrients very well wit only a very little tip burn. I increased the light a little bit, as I felt that some of the main colas on the side didn't get enough light. Next week I will probably be able to show the little veg-box I built, since the cuttings are slowly outgrowing their current home.
