Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. 🌸 Week 7 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week has passed and flowering is now in full swing across all 6 phenos 👀🔥 The differences between the plants continue to grow, and it’s becoming easier to see which phenos have the potential to become real standouts by harvest time. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #1 and #6 have finally started to catch up and are now slowly building buds as well 🌸 Pheno #5 continues to dominate the tent and has stretched to an impressive 130 cm The flower development on Pheno #5 is especially promising, with some bud sites already suggesting the potential for 25 cm+ colas if everything continues as planned 🔥 Pheno #2 and #6 are being overshadowed by the larger phenos and are clearly falling behind in overall size and vigor The structural differences between the phenos are now more obvious than ever, with some focusing on height while others remain more compact and bushy 💡 Environment & setup: The grow has now reached its current limits in terms of space and lighting: Light fixture raised to its maximum height Light intensity increased to 80% Summer temperatures pushing the tent up to around 32°C ☀️ Relative humidity averaging around 67% Despite the higher temperatures, the plants are still pushing forward and stacking flowers nicely. The next few weeks will be all about bud development, density, and resin production. 🏆 At the moment, Pheno #5 is definitely demanding attention, but there is still plenty of time for surprises. She’s fattened up nicely and in full flush mode. Been in flush around 16 Days but nothing heavy until today. I wanted her to fatten up a bit before giving her some heavy flushes before she gets the chop. Not long now.

Last week of Veg I might actually flip to flowering mid week.

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Never had gelato or GC before so im excited to try them out, thanks for dropping by!

Single plant autoflower harvest. Super happy with the smoke and this is our 2nd autoflower and will be doing LST on future runs

Just like assumed the faster-growing plant is definitely a male which i am happy for…he will pollinate the regular skunk and blue skunk also…i can hardly wait to plant offspring.

The Pineapple Express is very pretty and in our opinion it is growing well, we are almost ready for the first topping we can't wait to structure it as we like it.

Wicked week. Moving: This week report starts with my moving to a new apartment. It's actually not my first moving with a plant, but now it's kinda too big, so I asked my friends bag. Btw, the next day they stayed in different airports, so the bag didn't really smell after it 😂 I poured out the water from the bucket, gently placed it into the bag. And then the main rule I had is to keep the bad vertically while transplanting. And I'd suggest to just walk with the bag to the destination place, but since it was too far, I needed to order an uber. It was quiet hard to find the right car, because I cannot put it into a trunk, and I needed to order a truck or find a car with a large interior, so i could put near foot. I chose the 2nd one. Don't like extra attention 😁 Plant report: The moving was quiet easy for her, and not for me. She recovered quiet fast after it. But here I forgot to tie her down, which is my mistake, and the next day the grow up a lot, so it wasn't enough thread length anymore. Despite I don't use strings anymore, I still stretch her by myself with a bare hands few times a day. It actually works, just a bit worse, I guess. Usually I grow in closets, but here they have no space for it. So I need to think about her future home. I didn't want to buy a tent at the beginning, cause I think it's not that necessary. I still think so, they are way more overrated than the other 'grower stuff', but may be it would be more comfy with it 😃 I forget, that my lamp was not 70% only, so I turned it to max now. I also found out, that I got almost infected from bamboo(week 2) not only by aphid, but by ebanaya Sciara also. And they are growing their fucking babies in a wet ground. So I kind of buried them. I wrapped opened medium in a package. Now I see and kill only 5 this little monster flying around, before that was counted in dozens. I keep defoliating every day 4-8 leaves. To remove old useless leaves, or to open a new ones. Finally, by the end of this week, preflower started. After that smell also changed a bit, now it's less 'plant' and more 'buds' in the air.

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update.
