Well what did we say at the start? A diamond in the rough? All that is gold does not glitter? This Xtrakush try-out by weedseeds.site is turning out to be quite the surprise and joy, I might add. Consider this: - She had 2 weeks less of growing time - Had a potmate, removed last week cause it was male, see the hole in the grow. - This seed is 1,50 dollar, her roommates at 10 to 12 dollar a seed. - See the flower growth in one week. It is stunning. - She almost covered the hole of her roommate in a week. No defoliation, nothing. This soil and light combination rocks. I think Im proving at as we go here. Woche 5 / Vegi Woche 4 Der Grow: ​​​​​Zum Anfang der Woche, wurde die Pflanze zum zweiten mal getoppt. Damit wurden aus den 6 Hauptrieben, 12 neue Haupttriebe. Dass toppen hat die Pflanze wieder gut verkraftet. Die Triebe sind im Verlauf der Woche gut und gleichmäßig gewachsen. Am Ende der Woche war die Pflanze wieder schön kompakt und buschig. Wahrscheinlich werde ich die Pflanze in der nächsten Woche, ein letztes mal toppen. Ob jeder der neuen 12 Hauptriebe getoppt wird, mache ich davon abhängig, wie sie sich weiterhin entwickeln. Leider war ich mir dann zur Wochenmitte zu 100% sicher, dass die Pflanze zu feucht steht. ​Kurze Zeit nachdem gießen, hat die Pflanze, ihre Blätter extrem hängen lassen. Auch haben sich erste Mangelerscheinungen gezeigt. Da Mangelerscheinungen bei der kurzen Zeit und dem Erdvolumen, nicht sein können, plus die Kombination der hängenden Blättern, nachdem gießen, waren dann die eindeutigen Anzeichen, für eine über Wässerung. Die Symptome werden hierbei, durch den fehlenden Sauerstoff an den Wurzeln, ausgelöst. Ich habe daraufhin, die Bewässerung komplett eingestellt. Aktuell bekommt die Pflanze seit 5 Tagen kein Wasser mehr, damit die Erde abtrocknen kann. Meine neue Strategie, für die Sonnenerde, schaut jetzt wie folgt aus. Ich lasse die Erde jetzt auf 30% abtrocknen, danach gebe ich einmalig, wieder soviel Wasser, dass die Feuchtigkeit auf 40% steigt, um sie dann wieder auf 30% absinken zulassen. Zwischen diesen Bewässerungen, gibt es 1-2 mal, nur ca. 200ml Wasser, damit die Erde gleichmäßig feucht bleibt. Dies sollte für eine gute Sauerstoff Versorgung der Wurzeln sorgen und das Boden Leben fördern. Damit die Pflanze etwas wenig gestresst ist, durch die über Wässerung, habe ich die LED erst einmal wieder auf Stufe 2 gedimmt und den VPD auf 1,2kpa gesenkt. Beides wird wieder schrittweise erhöht, wen die Feuchtigkeit in der Erde, auf mindestens 40% gefallen ist. Der Trauermückenbefall, dürfte auch erledigt sein. Die Nematoden haben ganze Arbeit geleistet. Auf den Gelbtafeln sind keine neuen mehr dazu gekommen und im Zelt sehe ich auch nichts mehr. Sobald die Pflanze aber wieder Wasser bekommt, werde ich sicherheitshalber, noch einmal mit Nematoden gießen. hello growmies! day 51 finally the pre-flowers begin to appear. I apologize for the few photos but unfortunately they really filled the box and I find it difficult. overall I have to say they look in perfect shape! Welcome to week six! 🌱 Week five was a complete success – all parameters are perfectly aligned. I’ve increased the water conductivity to a solid 3000 and bumped the CO2 level up to 1200 🌿. Light intensity is now set at 1400 µmol in the center and 1000 at the edges, which will keep the plants strong in their generative state 🌞. I’ll maintain these levels until the end of the third week and then start slowly removing the large fan leaves to ensure the buds get plenty of light 💡✨. I’m also trying something new to activate the “Emerson effect” 🌄: I’m running the deep red lights for 5 minutes before sunset and for another 5 minutes after the day ends. This should give the plants a final boost in photosynthesis, helping to maximize their growth potential! Everything’s looking fantastic so far! The Black Cherry has rooted well across different experimental setups, and at the end of the grow, I’ll provide a full report on the best care techniques for both strains 🌺👌. Die Black Cherry ist in verschiedenen Versuchsreihen gut angewachsen, und am Ende des Grows werde ich einen ausführlichen Bericht darüber abgeben, wie sich die beiden Sorten am besten pflegen lassen 🌺👌.

Chopped them today, great coloring so far, really excited to see how they turn out by the end. There weren't any issues this week as it was just a flush and a few days of darkness. I've got to get better at lollipoping and maintaining the skirt in the future. Definitely a lot of wasted energy and nutrients going into flowers that never budded out.

Overall, this plant was a producer! Easy to grow, no surprises and stayed healthy throughout. 11 weeks from seed to harvest. It was squat, but stacked, so airflow and humidity control were key to preventing powdery mildew or bud rot. Took the nutrients like a champ, didn’t show too many demands. I’d like to run this again to see if I can get them taller, to potentially produce more. Otherwise, a very good, potent strain choice for someone who is short on space, and would do well with a sea of green style…Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Growing well so far. This week I added some LST to encourage outward growth. Things started to get a little wonky towards the end of the week bit once she starts to stretch out i think she will look a little neater.

Ladies are looking happy lots of stretching and bud development underway. Will be an exciting week. Watching for calcium deficiency. Noticed symptoms displaying as big stretch was hitting. Wondering if this is a common auto trait. Had a similar issue growing with amended soil last grow. Flower seems to have come on slow, was thinking it was me and my training but I have a feeling it's a genetic thing. Looked thru many diaries and FR seems to run long sometimes. Check questions for more info about this. Added a second SCROG on day 6. Had a amazing 8.5" vertical growth this week. Sooo many bud tops. It's going to be beautiful!

Topped and installed the scrog net this week, they took a bit to recover from topping and also defoliated 48 hours after. Changed out the nutrient solution and upped the nutes. I was hoping for more growth at this point but overall I think I'm only about a week behind. Being my first grow, I didnt know what to expect.

Hard not to play with them but i did anyway. These girls look ready being all golden. Close inspection of tri shows a couple of golden tips (not many). Top of heads look good but down low are still white hairs and no cloudy tri. I will wait another week. Having pulled a small cola I plan to try in a week after drying to see how it tastes.
