1/11/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 1- I have a root almost in the water.. Yay!! Top feeding is almost done. she is looking a little sad as I work the transition Top feeding but once the roots are fully in the water she will start to take off. Ensured my PPFD is set between 250-300 it is set to: 258 1/12/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 2- I have a root in the water.... NO TOP FEED TODAY SIR!!! now that a root is touching the water and she looks stable, I am not going to topfeed, I will see how she looks tomorrow and as long as everything looks good I am going to go ahead and do a change and week 1 fill on Nutes.. I know it is a couple of days in but the same Nutes go through Week 2 and get changed at Week 3 So I should be good to go.. I will just ensure I fill to root touching the water when I change tomorrow. 1/13/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 3- Water Change Day!! I added 36 Gallons of Water to the system: Silica= .5mil/gal= 18mil CalMag= .75mil/gal = 27mil FloraMicro=3.0mil/gal = 108mil FloraGro=2.0mil/gal = 72mil FloraBloom= 2.0mil/gal = 72mil PH DOWN= 30mil Very important thing with this system is to now wait the 24 hours for the system to adjust.. Do not make any further adjustments to your PH up or Down for 24 hours to allow time for the system to balance. 1/14/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 4- Today I just adjusted the PH to ensure that it was right at 6.0 1/15/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 5- Today I Cleaned up the lower damaged leaves from the transition from top feeding to roots in the water. She looks good today. 1/16/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 6- Today I just took a picture of the beautiful lady for Log. Other than that just normal day to day operations, check the pH, check the Humidifiers and fill as necessary, check level of water in the Res. Everything looks great. onto Tomorrow!! 1/17/2024 Vegetation Week 1 Day 7- Today I filled the humidifers, checked the PH and just let her grow.. Grow baby Grow.....

Day 14 - Clay balls arrived, all looks good.... 😎 **the rust and damage on the first leaves is nothing to worry about, the ice cream container water level dropped below the root level, fixed it, but was cool to learn how fast hyrdo dmg can occur.... 👍 Day 17 - Lookin good... vid.... 👍😎👊

2/21: heat stress is starting to show again and noticed less leaves on the fan side. Turn the light down to 75% and going to start rotating to even out when exposure. Not tall enough for LST yet. My top if she starts to look healthy again. 2/25: started LST. Leaves still slightly stressed looking.

OMG. È cresciuta ancora.. Pazzesca. Per fortuna ho spazio nel box. Non potevo andare prima quindi non ho potuto più eseguire LST. No problem. Somministrato cal mag per qualche foglia che comincia a mostrare qualche sintomo, niente di evidente per ora. Mostruosa.

# GodFather OG by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱👔 ## Germination Week | Another Seat at the Family Table Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new journey. As some of you may have noticed, I've recently changed the way I'm documenting my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary instead of sharing a single journal with its sisters. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development in as much detail as possible while selecting the best photographs from each week. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To create a complete educational record from seed to harvest while sharing observations, successes, mistakes, lessons learned, and everything in between. Today, we welcome GodFather OG Pheno B. And just like her sister, she arrives carrying a name that brings certain expectations with it. 😄 --- ## A New Member of the Family Every seed begins the same way. Small. Silent. Unassuming. Yet inside that tiny shell exists an entire future waiting to unfold. For this run, we're following GodFather OG from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll do my best to explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. For now, another member has officially taken her seat at the family table. And the story begins. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System To start this run, I once again used the Cannakan germination system. Simple. Reliable. Organized. The kind of system that keeps everyone where they're supposed to be. 😄 The container is divided into separate chambers, allowing multiple cultivars to be germinated simultaneously while remaining properly labeled and easy to track. The seeds were placed inside using only plain water. Nothing else. No additives. No nutrients. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours healthy taproots had already emerged, and the seeds were ready to continue their journey. Exactly what we hope to see from vigorous, healthy genetics. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that frequently appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seedlings immediately?" The answer is simple. The seed already contains everything required for the first stage of life. Nature made sure of that long before we arrived. Inside that shell are the energy reserves necessary to establish roots and begin development. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural resources exactly as intended. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. --- ## First Experience Using Coco Starter Plugs This run also marks my first experience using coco starter plugs. The plugs were fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining an ideal balance between water retention and oxygen availability. Once germinated, the seeds were carefully inserted into the plugs and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a very short period. Within less than 24 hours the seedlings had already emerged and were ready for the next step. At that point, they were transplanted directly into small containers filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environmental Conditions The environment during germination was intentionally kept simple and stable. Temperatures remained around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. While many growers prefer keeping seedlings inside a dome for extended periods, I personally like allowing them to adapt relatively early to the conditions they will experience throughout their life cycle. The objective is adaptation. Not overprotection. Airflow remains extremely gentle at this stage. Just enough movement to keep the air fresh without creating unnecessary stress. --- ## Heat Mat Temperatures The propagation mat was operating around 40°C. While that number may sound high initially, the heating source itself must run above the target root-zone temperature in order to compensate for environmental losses. The seedlings are not exposed directly to that temperature. Instead, the mat provides the warmth necessary to maintain stable rooting conditions and encourage fast, healthy germination. Consistency is the goal. And seeds appreciate consistency. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination is intentionally soft. Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels. The goal is healthy establishment rather than explosive growth. Once these girls become properly established, they will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins. We'll start discussing PPFD, light intensity, and environmental management in more detail during the coming weeks. For now, healthy beginnings remain the priority. --- ## First Observations Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far. Fast germination. Healthy taproots. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A clean start. At this stage every phenotype is still an unknown story waiting to unfold. And honestly, that's part of the magic. No matter how many grows we complete, every seed still carries a little mystery inside. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks we'll follow GodFather OG Pheno B through the first stages of development. We'll explore: - Root establishment - Early growth - Environmental management - Watering strategies - Light intensity - Structural development - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype decides to reveal Because every seed starts with potential. The journey determines how that potential expresses itself. This is only the first chapter. And for GodFather OG Pheno B... the family continues to grow. 🌱😄 Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along for another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower's Love everyone. 🌱💚

. 📹 : Full Video on YouTube @hinterhofgrower 🌱 : soft topping on day 17+20 💧 : 2l day 19 💡 : Dli: 20 mol/m²/d 🤔 : Finally, a plant is growing with wider internodal spacing, even though it's supposed to be Indica dominant. There was the usual overwatering discussion on YouTube. The soil I'm using consists mainly of peat with added perlite. It's also not compacted. In my last grow with this soil, it settled by about 5 cm in the 20L pot. The measured soil moisture reaches about 60% when saturated, but with my current watering pattern, it only reaches a maximum of just under 30%. I think there's always enough oxygen in the soil. I did, however, wait longer before watering this time. The removal of the bottom pair of nodes was also hotly debated. In my opinion, it was exactly the right thing to do. I would have had to remove the large pair of leaves above them to give the two branches full light. I would have had to trim the next pair of branches down significantly to bring them to the same level. In my previous grows, this resulted in small, bushy plants. This meant the buds were very close together and therefore susceptible to mold. Furthermore, the lower parts weren't fully developed. This was something I wanted to prevent in this grow. No more energy needed to be invested in the small branches, allowing the plant to focus on photosynthesis with its large leaves. The result is a uniform canopy.

She’s a beauty like her sister purple punch! She was number 2 to pop up (strawberry pie) and took to training straight away top of the class on mission catch up to purple... I defoliated and tied down through the weak shape shifting her into a lovely little bush! She has started to show signs that she also will start her pre flower stretch, so I’m excited to see what happens! I shuffled them around to suit age height etc as I will have to start raising my lights! In bloom I set these mars hydro leds to 12” and 18” during veg!

Last few weeks have been fantastic and I can't wait to see how they all respond to the first big stress event. Topping any sites that are at canopy while letting the rest develop but keeping the best 6 primaries and keeping it nice and simple. 3/9 ok so I kept more than 6 on these, I think there's one of them that has 7 but the rest all have 8-9 main branches, if they were within 3-5" of the top of the canopy I just kept them, that much variation will even itself out with just some slight bending. 3/12: So I've topped all primaries once now, should be 14-18 new tops on all of these, I'm hoping to top again next week assuming they can keep growing 1" per day, that should give me an excellent structure for a big fat canopy in the flower room.

This girls an absolute beast for her age, she's only 4 weeks old, going into 5th week, she's filled up my space nicely, ive defol'd and lst'd a little, nothing to heavy, ive also lollipoped her. I'm switching to half bloom and half veg nutrients from now until next fortnight, then straight bloom. Thanks for taking the time to read my diary. Feel free to check out my other diaries, and please leave a like, maybe a follow. Stay high stay fly. #420everyday

Let's be honest. These should have gone to flower months ago. Nevertheless, they look amazing, and they're going to flower this week. Plants have to move around so much that SCROG isn't really practical, and headspace is such an issue that these girls need to be tied down for a few weeks, hence the tomato cage/chicken wire solution. Stripped 'em up, flipping to 12/12 light schedule in a day or two.
