8/2 Fed two gallons this morning and took some hurried pictures. Did SLIGHT defoliation of dead leaves. Didn't have much time to inspect things. I'll check things out later this afternoon. Need to go in at night and see what critters are about. Woke very late so it was a very hurried morning. Rained last night like I expected. It's 68 at 9:30 and looks like rain. 8/3 Nice and sunny and 80 at noon. Didn't water as it rained last night nor did I get a chance to defoliate. After seeing a comment about mites I decided to break out the ol 100x scope. I took random samplings of leaves on different plants. I found ZERO mites. Just because I didn't find any doesn't mean they aren't there but it brings my anxiety down a little. While looking I did notice something is munching leaves. I wanted to use something to continue treatment for WPM and any random bugs but I may need to use captain jack's. I have lady bugs and don't want to kill them but I might just have too. I don't know if earwigs are a big problem or the holes are from pillars or hoppers or whatever else. Observing the weather and the 40 degree mornings and the wind tunnel I seem to be in, I don't see mites setting up shop or sticking around too long in these conditions. Either way if I missed something the IPM will get it. I bought general hydroponics cool bloom that I'm considering switching from tiger bloom. My tiger bloom is from last year and it seems to be crystalized a little in the bottom. We shall see. This is the last year of liquid nutes I hope. 8/4 Watered this morning and defoliated dead leaves. Looking on the inside of the plants I've noticed what looks like small leaves by bud sites dying or being chomped on. Not a single fucking aphid anywhere. I think those earwigs got a taste for those sweet lower bud sites and may be causing damage. It kinda helped as all they did was lollipop a couple lower branches in spots. Still I believe it will become a problem if left unchecked. Plan is to treat plants tonight with captain Jack's. I have a little more research to do but I believe that's the route I'll take. I noticed some pillar holes and other assorted pests so I think now's a good time to hit them with the Spinosid. Plants are looking good though. I can see cola's forming and hairs coming together to make small buds. What a great time. I have so much to do but I'm so busy with the other things going on it's hard to keep up. I'll update as I progress. Plans are fluid. 8/5 Topsoil was dry despite the rain we had so I watered and defoliated what needed and pruned some inner branches I missed yesterday. I don't like leaving exposed matter when it's wet. It's not supposed to rain until around 1pm. I'm getting frustrated. I can't find the earwigs anymore and "life" had kept me from being the best gardener I could be. Last year I woulda been out with a spray bottle every night looking for them. I need to visit the garden at night. I think I need to lower my pH too. Hopefully the apple cider vinegar spray I plan to use will help some. The water going in is good so I don't get how the pH is higher at the root zone. I've seen random damage from different pests. Tonight I'm putting petroleum jelly on the stalks and anywhere the bugs can climb up. I also plan on spraying spinosid tonight. I will update as I progress. The traps I made haven't caught a single bug. A little frustrated this morning but the garden looks gorgeous. 8/6 Rained last night. This wet weather sucks. Found a couple spots where bud shoots had been eaten as well as other tell tale signs. It's got to be those earwigs. I've researched my ass off and have none of the normal pests I usually would this time of year. Especially aphids. I have lady bugs but no way they controlled pests this well. More likely the wigs ran out of food and got a taste for nice cannabis shoots and leaves. I can't seem to make it happen at night so this morning I liberally sprayed all plants with a gallon of captain Jack's dead bug at 2tbsp a gallon as recommended. Spinosid works good and I've used it in the past with BT. Should take care of whatever. I sprayed around the cage too but I couldn't find anything. I read Spinosid is good at controlling those fucking earwigs too. Did you know earwigs are 20 million years old and the only species in their genus. I certainly didn't. I see leaf septoria all over the foliage around. By around I mean just driving or walking in the woods. It seems bad this year. At least it hasn't gotten to my garden yet. Garden is away from most other vegetation. I have ONE plant In that 30 gallon tote at the back outside my cage that I can tell has leaf septoria 💯. I don't know if I should cull it or try to fight it. I'll pick up a copper based fungicide and try first. I'm at that point where this plant was just extra and neglected so maybe it would be better of somewhere else. I may just isolate it. Hurried morning. No time for defoliation not pictures. I will update as I go. I will start apple cider vinegar spray probably tomorrow after I feed. I'm researching how to check my pH with an indicator liquid. Maybe I can get a better idea of the pH at my root zone. Those soil meters suck. Update I went for a hike just to check out the foliage in the area. I'm lucky. Japanese beetles have stripped a lot of vegetation around here but have luckily left my cannabis alone. I've killed like four total. I also noticed tons of fungal infections in trees (different area from my grow but within a mile). Hopefully I can come to decision about treating or culling that plant. 8/7 Looks like it's going to be a good day weather wise. Like I said my tiger bloom has what seems like small crystals that rattle when I shake the bottle. I know it's probably better to use one line of products but I switched to GH liquid cool bloom 0-10-10. It came highly recommended so we shall see. Plants seem to be doing well with the transition to flower. They look healthy despite the little ones outside the cage and the one with the fungal infection. Even that has nice tops it's just the bottom that looks fucked up. I think I'll bring it away from the others and attempt to treat it. Luckily it was just an experiment and a bag seed. After taking a hike I realized I'm quite lucky. Local foliage has been skeletonized by japanese beetles. This relentless rain has brought about fungal infections in trees, shrubs and even fruiting plants like blackberries. Things could definitely be much worse. I'm picking up a fungicide today to treat that plant. PM seems to be in check for now but I'll need to stay on top of it. Also need to try to get litmus paper or something to test soil pH. Meter is junk. I have indicator liquid though. I'll update as I progress. 8/8 Its been raining almost every night. Another challenge for the outdoor grower. I defoliated more leaves this morning. I noticed previous damage on bud sites that appears to be from earwigs. Also dead sugar leaves on new bud shoots down low and inside. Glad I got the Spinosid treatment in. At least whatever ate it will be dead. Need to still figure out what to do with that plant and whether it has leaf septoria or just a more advanced powdery mildew. I'm in town now and I'm planning to pick up a copper based fungicide just in case. I may isolate the one plant and treat everything and go from there. It's a large plant but seems to have lost most of its leaves. Not sure if switching the nutes was a good idea as I read that tiger bloom doesn't really expire and it's made to go with the rest of the nutes I'm using. Next week I need to stay on top of treatments and continuing to monitor for PM or other damage. Other than that plants look healthy and are transitioning to flower pretty well. Sunny and Tempe reached 90. RH is stupid high

Good morning, today is day 22 flower ! Nothing much to be reported as everything is on cruise control and there’s basically nothing for me to do anymore but water ! The permafrost buds are getting frosty, stacking amazingly and chucking up while the jungle cookies smell very strong but aren’t stacking as tightly! I’m super happy with how they look! Just continuing to water a gallon every couple days rotating fish shit and silica as usual! Nothing else to report and I’ll see you all next week

Started giving the girls 1 hour a night at sub 60. By end of week it's up to 2 but will not exceed this. Added top dressings of azomite, sea kelp and greensand. It is an irrational number and it cannot be represented as a simple fraction. THORIUM Thorium, at atomic number 90, is one of the rarest elements. 232Th is a primordial nuclide, having existed in its current form for over ten billion years; it was formed during the r-process, which probably occurs in supernovae and neutron star mergers. These violent events scattered it across the galaxy. The letter "r" stands for "rapid neutron capture", and occurs in core-collapse supernovae, where heavy seed nuclei such as 56Fe rapidly capture neutrons, running up against the neutron drip line, as neutrons are captured much faster than the resulting nuclides can beta decay back toward stability. Neutron capture is the only way for stars to synthesize elements beyond iron because of the increased Coulomb barriers that make interactions between charged particles difficult at high atomic numbers and the fact that fusion beyond 56Fe is endothermic. Everyone has roughly 140g of potassium = 0.016 grams of Potassium 40 = 5.643ounces The charge radius is a fundamental property of the atomic nucleus. Although it globally scales with the nuclear mass as A1/3, the nuclear charge radius also exhibits appreciable isotopic variations that are the result of complex interactions between protons and neutrons. Indeed, charge radii reflect various nuclear structure phenomena such as halo structures6, shape staggering7, shape coexistence8, pairing correlations9,10, neutron skins11, and the occurrence of nuclear magic numbers5,12,13. The term ‘magic number’ refers to the number of protons or neutrons corresponding to completely filled shells. I am dropping a fast buds tester FBT2308. The seed was scuffed, and placed in water in dark. In 24 to 48 hours I will plant in Rockwool, and dome. Day 42, start of flowering week 3: they are growing nicely, had to do a lot of defoliation on each plant, except the one in the 3L pot. Day 43, I started to discover that the roots are coming out aggressively from the bottom of the pot. I did not move the ones in the back, but I guess same thing. The one in the 3L pot doesn't have this problem. Day 45: getting really excited for these guys! I'm trying to keep the temp and humidity low, and I hope I can achieve some of the purple color :P any advice on that? day46: defoliaton

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. Week 8 begins! Strawberry Banana is doing great, nice buds super frosty, sticky, heavy and dense. I continue to be impressed by this light and how this plant has grown under it.

The calm before the storm in the Scroggernaut - either yer scroggin or yer not ACMPR licence holder, allowed to grow up to 49 6 mothers, 2 strains for the 2020 photo run. Pheno hunt the best veggers to pick my 2 best moms, give away the rest. Also have 4 autos in there to kill some time while I veg out the moms Running 16 plants total over 40sqft ( a 4x8 and a 2x4). Will be doing 12 x dutch buckets coco/perlite mix on an automated feed and drain to waaste, as well as 4 x soiless mix handwatered for my son to learn the basics of growing. Big ups to the BOOFPARTY crew Lights are awesome. 3 x HLG 550 clones LM301b diodes. Room is self contained, fully climatised and insulated with vapor barrier. This is the garden I have always hoped to build Will be mostly video updates here, limited data. Not looking to win any contests with this

Samen 3 lässt auch an Tag 5 noch nichts von sich sehen. Zu Absicherung unseres Keimprozesses haben wir einen Vergleichssamen unter gleichen Bedingungen mitgezogen, nur um zu schauen ob ein Systematischer Fehler vorliegt. Dieser hat jedoch schon die Erde durchbrochen und aktive Keimblätter. Am Vorgang kann es somit nicht liegen: Temp. konst. 25°C Luftfeuchte ca. 75- 80° mit Osmesewasser durchgezogener Easyplug. Öffnung im Plug zuvor großzügig aufgelockert. Wir warten ab so lange muss die wenige hübsche Pflanze als Model hinhalten. Evt. bekrabbelt sie sich ja noch. An Tag 6 wurde der Samen mal etwas freigegraben er ist zumindest gekeimt ein Stück gewachsen. Wir warten mal noch ab ob er noch weiter wachsen will. Tag 7 Nr 2 Um Feuchtigkeitsschwankungen gering zuhalten wurde sie in den größeren Cube gesetzt, um Algenbildung wie bei Nr.1 entstanden zu vermeiden, wurde mit Kokos gemulcht.

LSD Zamnesia Tripping 🙂 | Fresh Frozen, Ice Water & Temple Balls — Week 16 From Seed First of all… Yes 😄 We are once again dividing the harvest reports into multiple chapters, and once again we apologize for that. But honestly, there was simply no way to fit: * harvest, * drying, * trimming, * curing, * smoke review, * macro photography, * fresh frozen work, * washing, * extraction, * and hash making… …into a single GrowDiaries update without rushing through important parts of the process. And this part? This part deserved its own spotlight completely. Because this week was not about flower anymore. This week was about resin. Living resin. Fresh frozen material. Ice water extraction. Patience. Cold temperatures. Sticky hands. And slowly transforming trichomes into beautiful hash. For everyone joining only now, quick recap: These LSD girls were grown under 12/12 from seed from the very beginning. Minimal training, mostly natural structure, gentle leaf manipulation, and environmental balance instead of aggressive intervention. Part of the harvest was dried traditionally and already covered in the previous report. But another part… …never got dried at all. Straight during harvest, selected flowers were removed fresh from the plants and immediately vacuum sealed before going directly into the freezer. No drying. No curing. No waiting. Fresh frozen. And that changes everything. The goal here is preservation. When flowers are frozen immediately after harvest, a large portion of the volatile compounds: * terpenes, * flavonoids, * aromatic compounds, * and delicate resin characteristics… …can remain much closer to their living state compared to traditionally dried material. This is why fresh frozen extraction became so respected in modern hash making. It captures a version of the plant that only exists for a very short moment in time. Alive. Wet. Fresh. Fully expressed. And honestly? Opening those frozen bags weeks later felt like reopening harvest day itself 😄 The flowers still looked incredibly resinous even after sitting frozen for weeks waiting for wash day. Now let’s talk process. For the wash itself, we used the Bubbleator machine courtesy of Zamnesia , and honestly huge thanks to them for providing it. They knew I wanted to start exploring ice water extraction properly, and they were kind enough to support the journey. The setup itself is actually beautifully simple. First: ice. Lots of ice 😄 The machine was filled partially with ice first before adding the fresh frozen material inside the working bag. The flowers themselves were placed inside a closed 220-micron washing bag. This is important because the bag keeps the plant material contained while still allowing the trichome heads to separate during agitation. After placing the material inside: * more ice on top, * cold water added, * everything submerged, * and then… …we waited. Around 30 minutes or so. And this step is actually extremely important. A lot of people think washing starts when the machine turns on. But honestly? The wash starts before that. This resting phase allows the frozen material to: * slowly rehydrate, * absorb water again, * become fully saturated, * and most importantly… * become extremely cold throughout the entire plant material. Why does this matter? Because trichomes become brittle at very cold temperatures. The colder everything gets: * the easier the resin heads separate, * the cleaner the release becomes, * and the less physical force is required. That is also why ice exists under and above the material: * lower temperatures evenly, * protect the resin, * and maintain the cold environment throughout the wash. Once the water temperature approached near freezing… …the machine came alive 😄 And honestly? Watching the water slowly transform during the wash is always magical. At first: just ice, water, and flowers. Then slowly: foam, cloudiness, resin separation, and finally that beautiful milky golden water hash makers love seeing appear. Meanwhile on the side, we prepared the filter bags. We did not use every single micron separation individually because honestly sometimes over-separating becomes unnecessary depending on goals and material quality. Instead, we focused on collecting the grades we actually wanted to work with and enjoy. And then came one of the most satisfying parts of the entire process: Collection 😄 Slowly lifting the bags. Watching the resin gather. Carefully scraping. Separating grades. Observing texture and color differences. Beautiful creamy resin everywhere. Some lighter. Some slightly darker. Some sandy. Some greasy. Every layer carrying slightly different characteristics. After collection, the resin was carefully freeze-dried. And this part also requires patience. First freeze drying. Then breaking it apart. Then more drying. Then more waiting 😄 Depending on environment and conditions, full drying can take several days because trapped moisture inside hash is dangerous long term. Rushing this step can ruin months of work later. In this case, the process stretched closer to about a week before everything felt properly stable and ready to work. And honestly… This is where the magic really started. Once dry enough, we allowed the hash to rest briefly before beginning the hand-working process. No extreme heat. No giant pressure. No fancy machinery. Just: room temperature, body warmth, gentle pressure, folding, rolling, stretching, and patience. The room itself stayed around 15°C, which turned out to be perfect for working the resin slowly without overheating it. And this step matters far more than many people realize. When hand-working hash properly: * oils redistribute, * compounds begin merging, * terpenes spread through the material, * oxidation starts slowly, * texture evolves, * and curing begins transforming the resin itself over time. You are not simply “rolling hash.” You are starting a living curing process. And slowly… The texture changed completely. From sandy loose resin… to creamy material… to sticky dough… to smooth beautiful temple balls. Honestly, seeing that transformation happen in your hands never gets old 😄 Final result? Three temple balls total: * two smaller ones from smaller micron collections, * and one large main temple ball that became the true star of the session. Final weight: 46.5 grams.( big one ) And honestly? I was extremely happy with that result. Especially considering the quality, texture, color, and how beautifully this LSD washed overall. Once formed, the temple balls were wrapped carefully in parchment paper before being vacuum sealed for long-term curing. And now? They rest. Months. Maybe longer. Waiting. Because the goal here is not “fresh hash.” The goal is evolution. Traditional temple ball style curing allows: * oils to redistribute, * compounds to merge, * texture to transform, * aroma to deepen, * and the entire resin profile to mature over time. Almost like aging wine. Or curing cheese. Or fermenting traditional products slowly and intentionally. This is medicine with patience built into the process. And honestly… That part alone deserves respect. We also included: * detailed process photos, * collection stages, * macro photography, * texture closeups, * curing progression, * and multiple stacked macro images showing the resin in insane detail. Some of these stacks reached: * 62 frames, * 87 frames, * 114 frames, * and even 152-frame focus stacks. Because honestly, hash under macro magnification becomes another universe completely. The textures stop looking real. Tiny resin mountains. Oil rivers. Micro-crystals. Glossy surfaces. Soft creamy structures. It almost starts looking geological instead of botanical 😄 Mr. Baggy of course supervised the entire operation like the professional resin inspector he clearly believes he is. And next week… The final chapter arrives. Smoke review. Curing review. Flower review. Hash review. Terpene evolution. Effects. Textures. Lessons learned. Mistakes made. Nice plants 2 totally different phenotypes, as one was already harvested, and the other isn't even half way of flowering after 10 weeks. Nice trichome production, great fresh and fruity smell, this plant is a pleasure to smoke in the end of the day. Dried her upside down hanging in a tent I have for the purpose, at 25c, 30%RH - Only removed fan leaves, no manicuring, been doing that as I smoke, noticed the bud lasts longer and with a better smell and you end up saving loads of time. Really happy with this smoke, smells like proper weed. Maybe was the best time I dried and cure(ing). Only problem is that I'm smoking more as it's so tasty ahaha. Good stuff, thumbs up! PS - I'll start looking for the "original" Zkittlez to try out and check the differences between them. Update: 12 April 2021 - Chopped down Plant #2 So, finally Saturday I chopped her down. She looked now ready and delicious, although I only notice yesterday how many seeds she has allover the place. She hermied in front of me without noticing, not good at all and need to start looking much better and in detail into the plants. Feel like an idiot now. Anyways, it was a full week! Emptied the grinder collector and pressed it down a little, makes a very nice smoke, light but pleasant, the kind of stuff it keep you going all day without the dumb effect. From all trimming made the bubble hash. Got a little too green as the 220micron bag's stitches slightly opened letting some contaminants in the final mix, hence the green color. This was a hit. in opposition to the grinder stuff, this sent me straight to the moon, really heavy stone effect, even thinking was hard. Reminded me those afghan/ moroccan balls we used to get back in the early 2000's. The weed itself it's still drying so the smoke report will be updated in there. 715g of fresh cut plant is good, let's see the potency and the seeds. Might turn it all into bubble hash, if I see it'll be an hassle to remove seeds. On an earlier bud I've cut and dried, smoked it and you can see pure white ashes in the bong. Ain't that a beauty?
