No problems thus far. Plants looking healthy and buds are really starting to fatten up now. One of the Dirty Kush Breath's is starting to purple up and they have a sweet berry smell. Sugar cane has a similar sweet smell but more of a citrus smell. Only half way thru flower.....can't wait to see how big these buds get!

14 days on the auto watering system and the girls are looking happy. Everything survived well and my reservoir size was just right. They are looking a little hungry, but nothing s fresh mix of nutes shouldn't fix. Things are starting to look frosty. I'll Be pulling all the Larfy bits this week to optimize my tops.

I’ve redeemed myself for the lack of photos last week!! These girls are caking up absolutely incredible. I hope harvest is only a few weeks out now, but I don’t see a lot of milky tricimes yet, and no ambers in sight at all. I took off a few low side branches to dry, and see how they go. Smell is amazing. Very sweet of sorts. Very hard to describe. Definitely got a lot of gas too.

This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. Now here we are in Week 6: the garden maturing, the flowers stacking, the personality of the genetics truly revealing itself. 💧 Feeding & Balance The recipe continues to revolve around Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, Top Booster, and Plagron’s Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation, with Aptus All-In-One Liquid helping tie the orchestra together. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. After the flooding of the root zone to the top of the container, the pump turns "off" and the nutrient solution simply drains back down the supply pipe and out of the pump intake, which in effect, has now has become the outlet :)

Week 5 Update: Challenges and Optimism! 🌿💪✨ Hey there, fellow growers! 👋🌱 As we dive into the fifth week of this thrilling journey, I must admit that I've encountered a few obstacles along the way. But fear not, for challenges are merely opportunities in disguise! 🌱🚀 Currently, three of my plants are still looking a bit droopy, a consequence of my underfeeding mishap. 😔 However, I've taken decisive action to rectify the situation. I've increased their water intake from 0.5 liters each to a generous 1 liter each, provided every two days. Hydration is key! 💧💦 Let's talk environmental conditions. The temperature within the grow space ranges between 20°C and 22°C, maintaining a comfortable and optimal range for our leafy companions. The humidity levels hover around 60% to 68%, thanks to the diligent work of my trusty dehumidifier. Kudos to technology! 🌡️💨💨 In light of the recent droopiness, I've temporarily adjusted the LED power to 75%. It's a careful balancing act to ensure the plants receive the right amount of light without overwhelming them. We're all about finding that sweet spot! 💡🌿✨ Interestingly, I've noticed a similar issue with droopiness during my previous grow with sour stompers. Could it be a recurring pattern? 🤔 Moreover, upon activating the dehumidifier, I made an intriguing discovery. The CO2 levels have soared over 900ppm! It seems I've stumbled upon an unexpected correlation. I'll certainly be investigating this further to unravel the mystery. I will update the dry weight once she is finished drying, I assure y'all. I'm so glad that I have one or two more of these beans laying around and I can't wait to run this again. She became this monstrous autoflower that never seemed to stop. I supercropped her midway through flower due to her getting close to the light. She took that and just kept going. Even formed a nice knuckle where it happened, but she righted herself back up like a champ. I still can't believe that she weighed in at almost 300 grams. I know that's wet, but I've grown quite a few autos and have never done what I just did with one. I've only heard about that from autos haha. Shout out to fast buds for killing it with their genetics.
