So we’re almost there with the soil plants! All the thrichromes are getting cloudy and hairs nice and orange! The frost on all four soil plants is insane and they smell amazing once you get in there and start waking them up doing maintenance etc it just overwhelms ya. In a good way haha! I gave them one strong feeding last night and will keep and eye on the trichs the next few days but will probably start flushing them. But I’ll let them decide. The dwc plant is huge it takes up the space fo two soil plants and will probably more than double the production. It is a week or so behind the soil plants and is really starting to stack the buds on this week. I’m having trouble with the root ball being so big. It’s good and bad. Having a few circulation issues etc but the water ph and ppm are staying consistent so I’m just going to ride it out till the end. I’ll update soon thanks for stopping by and as always. 🍻

Since joining growdiaries I’ve seen that 420 Fastbuds are one of the (if not) the most notorious genetics on here.. so I’ve got my hands on some Fastberry seeds (which with the promotion I got one free!!) I’ve been very bored with the kind of weed I have been smoking recently the taste of the buds aren’t too great so I’m very excited to give this strain a try with the promise of berry flavoured weed!!! Happy growing! Mon 8th March - after a few days of being in a damp paper towel stored in a dark warm place she’s popped a little tap root. I will leave until tomorrow then I’ll plant her directly into her final 3 gallon pot. 🍁 Tue 9th March - Placed into her final pot gave her a little water and placed dome over her until she pops.

Soo I'm going to keep them in the room , can just make friends with my new strains I want to put in there .... sure they will get along

Hi all! 👊😊 Another week started ohh yeaahhh I do foliar 3 times this week and i see pistil white change in orange Smell very good pine and citrus :)

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. I just did a solution change. She was put on a less concentrated solution of the Athena nutrition. I think I overdid it last week changing it. She is still making good progress under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. Everything is looking good.
