Last week was a pain in the @ss😪 batling high temps and super low humidity 😑 I used 2 intake vans to get temps down by 4°c in the tent, and pulled out my humidifier again to get above 43% RH. Sitting @ 55 now Rock on Growmies

Starting the RS11 x Papaya x Red Sunshine project in Morocco 🇲🇦 For this run we're exploring a combination that brings together some of our favorite resin-producing genetics from the Washer Line. The objective is to evaluate early vigor, plant structure and overall performance throughout the season. Seeds are prepared and the propagation trays are ready. The journey starts here, with the first stage taking place under greenhouse conditions before moving outdoors later in the cycle 🌱

Watermelon Autoflower is growing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 in the Gen1:11 nutrition. She is doing a lot of stretching. I lollipopped the plant and defoliated her some. She also got a solution change a few days ago. Everything is looking good. The plant in the front is showing some sort of stress symptoms. All corners of all leaves are bend upwards. Generally also very interesting to see how different the phenotypes are of the two seeds. I have been feeding as recommended but havent been able to check the EC of the runoff as my meter hasnt arrived yet. So might be to do with the nutrients, maybe light or heat stress. As it is summer right now the temperatures have been quite challenging high

Now every time I open the tent fifty cent candy shop song intro plays in my head and my nose do that Lil bewitched dance and I smile like wow this is really like a candy shop and there's a big cotton candy party going on. The ladies a feeding now like food is running out, I'm down to ever tree days watering and they are just in overdrive with bud development. The fade has begun to be more pronounced long with the different tones of citrus.

Hats off to this F3 strain. All healthy, no leaf discolouration. She is drinking her tonics twice a day & really enjoying the side lighting. The buds are picking up weight at quite a speed. No purple hues yet. Midweek update: I added additional side lighting, bringing the total up to 268 W. Her feeds will be more frequent too. Let there be light! 👽

2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Zombie Kush nr 1 is 66 cm Zombie Kush nr 2 is 87 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. Day 15. Girls got dried up again, but i transplanted them !!! Now in one day they stretched, happy and all will go as diamond ! Think i lost one week at the end of grow with all those hiccups ... Pots 30 liters, were topped up with Biobizz All mix soil 80% and Biobizz Worm Castings 20% , each girl got 600 ml of water. Big pots sorted low humidity too , now i have too high even, but exhaust is sorting excess.. Light is working well, but ... coverage for 3 plants is impossible, so for veg i still with help of pot rotation will manage, later ill plug one of my quantum boards as extra. For two plants TS1000 would be perfect in veg, for flower still its one plants light. Money wise its a huge grab ! Less than 100£ for 150W with dimmer ... Honestly impressed with it , maybe next week i wont mention it , but .... ;))) Tent is doing her job too, perfect size for 2-3 plants, even 6 inch fan fitted perfectly ! Chocolopez going well, all damage left behind. Really want to taste final product, have only good memories with this lineage. Happy Growing !!!

D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------
