My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

A cutting requires roots to uptake water, we must create an environment so humid the plant can absorb moisture through its one set of leaves, 70+RH% but also a good supply of fresh air and full temperature control. Once I see light lime green it will signify new growth of the plant, I will know it has started to re-root.

Sehen einfach wunderschön aus, habe die für die letzten paar Tage rein geholt da es sonst zu Kalt draußen war Heute wird der Rest im Zelt geerntet und dann bekommen die ein neues warmes, sonniges Plätzchen im Zelt um nochmal ordentlich Blüten auszubilden… Von der Optik absoluter Stunner, Purple in Kontrast zum knall Grün der Blüten, welche später noch Purpeln werden 😍😍

First feeding of week 3 juste before taking pictures!! 😁🍀✌️ Day 17 one of the gorilla melon looking not really happy after feeding!! She was doing great I don’t really know yet if it’s a deficiency or over feeding but I’ keep an eye on it 💚✌️ Day 18 I accidentally dropped a full bottle of water on my gorilla melon, which split in two at the base and break the pot😭she wasn’t able to stand alone so I hold her luck she continue to grow 🍀💚✌️

This plant have a very strong smell and there are very high THC with a good balance that allows you to still be productive on my day . All popcorn and small buds were chopped into pieces and put in a pot for edibles. The buds that grow from the plant that did very well are very dense and heavy the main cola waited 15.56 grams dry

This week I topped each main cola at the 3rd node as usual and performed a selective defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow. From now on, I won’t be doing any more apical cuts. In a few days, I plan to introduce a scrog net to start guiding the branches and prepare for an even canopy 🌿💪

Hello. This is the end of week 2 and the beginning of week 3 of flowering. Man have these plants taken off. Man what a stretch. I've only seen sativa's grow this tall this fast. Some of these plants have 6 inches between leaf nodes. Wow. Got to get in here this week and do my final trim/prune. Paying attention to taking off the sucker branches, Opening up the middle for better air flow. And taking off some top fanleaves off for better light penetration. And putting another string around them to hold them together. They are getting tall. It's pretty damp around here, got all sorts of mushrooms growing out of the ground around here. Don't know what they are. And I'm not going to eat them. Took one, of the large brown ones to the mushroom club a few years ago and he said it's no good to eat. Won't kill you but you'll be sitting on the can for a while. It's been time for my 3 1/2 year cancer check up. Went to the ENT doctor yesterday. She couldn't find anything to be concerned about and I feel fine. Get another app. in 6 months. April. then not another for a year before they finally clear me to say cancer free. Still taking my RSO at 1/2 strength these days. .5 g a day. Feel Fine. 😃 Showed around my main grow room in the video. I'm not doing a diary on these plants but want to show you my best plants. Got some fungus gnats flying around. Was gnat free all summer, but they came in, in the fall. Got some nematodes from Amazon but the package seemed dry when I opened it. Don't know if any nematodes were still alive in the bags, but I mixed it up in water and applied it to the roots. So we'll see. Probably old stock. Been sitting 1/2 the summer in the warehouse heat. 😒 Got my seeds picked out for the next diary. (see pics) I've got room for, and I think I'll do 16 plants, to find the best/strongest one. I'm growing indicia's for my cancer, but I really love/miss sativa's. So I'm going to try this one. The description sound great. Up to 36% ( hope I get close) and tastes of pineapple and lemon. OK. d.57 - looks alright, had to do some lst and adjustments to level out the height gave an additional biotab. move my big fan, below the plant, in an effort to push the moisture upwards and out, which resulted in me being able to raise the lights further up.. my plant is way over the average height of is genetics, thanks to biotabs 🌞. fastbuds said it would have an average height of 70-100 cm, and ny plant is closing in on the 80 cm and she keeps going ^^. and people say that autoflowers cant be main lined, well i believe this grow proves it. achieved darker folliage in the bottom, so i believe that we are on the right track. hopefully the deficiency levels out. day 62/63 gave an additional biotab so we are at 6 total. day 63 i gave 10 ml bio pk with the watering.

Right until the end they finally beefed up right into the late blooming stage . Ill flush starting next week . This Friday will be the second flush with Flawless Finish Advanced Nutrients recieved by the Critical Punch by Dutch Passion as she is not taking much water after the first week flush . Die Blüten bilden sich schön, bin sehr gespannt was da in ein paar Wochen dran hängt. Gestern haben alle Pflanzen nur Wasser bekommen, da die Platt spitzen leicht gelb waren. Ab morgen gibt es wieder die normale Düngung laut BioBizz Schema. Ist es normal das die Wurzel bis zur Oberfläche vom Topf kommen? Seit dem die Nematoden und die Raubmilben im Zelt sind gibt es nur noch vereinzelt mal eine Trauermücke zu sehn . Werd ich auf jeden Fall bei nachfolgenden grows beibehalten. Painkiller 1 und 2 sind in Der Blüte, nr. 3 noch nicht, sie hat aber schön an Höhe aufgeholt. 06.07: Mittlerweile sind wir ende Blütewoche 3 und die Painkiller 3 hat immer noch keine Blütenansätze, das wird interessant bei der Ernte… 08.07 Painkiller 3 ist immer noch stark im Strech und ist mittlerweile die höchste Pflanze im Zelt, Blütenansätzt sind endlich zu erahnen,

I’ve stopped tucking over the past week to avoid snapping shoots during stretch. At this point I’m letting the plants do what they do best and focusing on environment and nutrition rather than manipulation. Once the second trellis net goes in, I’ll start assigning individual squares, spreading the canopy a bit more, and following up with a defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration. We’re currently 9 days into flower and the plants are healthy, vigorous, and drinking well. I couldn’t ask for a better run so far. I expect to see bud sites forming across all tops by the next update as stretch begins to slow and flower development kicks in.

Hello friends here we are in week seven of flower. Sorry there was no daily time lapse or pics went out on vacation. So today Day 105 12/24/2021 marks the end of the week, She is coming along nicely and the smell is just WOW. She should be ready to start flush after next week. I checked the Trichomes and mostly all cloudy few clear and few amber. Also got a new tent last night that will be setting up for next year grow.
