They are looking healthy and the stems are very strong. Excited to see how big these nugs get with this bud candy. Week 4 today. My grow is always frosty. For some reason a lot of people have told me my grow is the best they have ever had. I’ve tasted other growers grow and their stuff wasn’t as good as mine. Definitely have a great green thumb in growing.!

The LUSH soil is providing plenty of nutrients. Some of the girls have remnants of the burn. I'll get em taken care of in two weeks. When I do the last small defol. I believe my bx ibl skunk ( by my company Arkainjenetics ) . is a male ! So pros and cons. Pros. It's short. Which is awesome and what I was going for. Stem smell is strong. And it handled my Nute burn and topping like a champ. So I deem him worth of his seed. ( His pollen ) 😂. I'm working on where I want him to go. I don't want him to go into the 4*4. Cuz I'm starting my next grow in there. I bought a 3*3*72 but I'm realizing I don't need that big of a space for one plant. ( Cus the 3*3 is still in its box I didn't want to put it together for just one plant.). And I need to get all the right equipment for the 3x3 still. But that's for another diary lol

After 21 days in turbo cloner I transplanted 4 Sweet seeds Green Poison into 1 gallon plastic pots filled with Cana coco. Few days later I transplanted another 4 clones into DWC! Stay tuned! Coco feed at 700ppm Dwc feed at 480ppm

Quick update just to upload some photos, but unfortunately I don't have many relevant news to report. Leaves are yellowing, but I can't understand if it's senescence or lack of nutrients. Since she's not gonna finish within the next 2 weeks, next week I'll add some nutrients in low dosage, which shouldn't be a problem since the runoff is more or less 250 PPMs. This week there are some videos too! 🎥 Day 136: 9L of tap water (PH 6.5). Runoff: PH 6.8, 256 PPMs. Day 139: 9L of tap water (PH 6.5). Runoff: PH 6.7, 245 PPMs.

Another eventful week! Transplanted into 5 gallong pots. Its interesting to see that there hasnt been much vertical growth but allot of branchung out compared to how it was with the other lights

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 6 flower : I stopped the pk half way through week 6 so it had a total of 10 days feed with pk13/14 I also cut out the silicone and calmag on the same day . I defoliated a little as there was a lot bud sites covered . I am going to start the flush in 3 days which will be . .6 1/2 weeks into flower , going to give them 2 weeks flush with plain water . Still have a bit of leaf curl from the light being so close I did move it but because the canopy is not so even it’s hard to get it right .

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and getting chunky. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

Training coming along nicely, broke the first branch today. This pheno breaks super easy. Just lowered lights to 14-16 inches, instantly noticed a difference. Just measured lux with my phone app maxed out at 100k at high points.

Having some major heat problems in the group room due to the summer heat raising up a temperature of the addict which is where I’ve been through. However the planter you’re looking fine above but we have some drying out leaves on the bottom

I felt things were going well, and didn't want to jinx it.... however my time has come for the next level of challenges. This week things were looking great, but then I saw some leaves having discolored spots. I looked under the microscope and saw it was the leaf, didn't think much more of it. Next day, more spots, so I investigated. looking again with the microscope, I found the devil! Spider mites! So, I sprayed greencleaner on them at light shutoff... and the following day plant does not look too good. Looks dry and light burned. So I moved the lights up, they were not a problem before and the plant had stopped stretching this week. hopefully I this will go away, but I need to spray tomorrow to keep with the schedule, hope it does not dry out y plants as much this time! However looking at the bugs again, they are dead! I also lollypopped the girls, however since I am a noob, I could have trimmed more, but it makes me nervous of taking off too much, so maybe a few days I will take some more off, or just watch the dead leaves closer, and will clear daily...
