The girls have filled my space very nicely! i'm heavy handed on the defol trying to optimize bud sites & trying my best to keep everything even as i know these girls will stretch hard! Girls have been enjoying plain water and foliar sprays including EM1

They got huge. Nice green leaves and smell great. I bend the fan leaves a little to get more light in the canopy. They love the nutes. We having a great time! Transplanted 3 to 3 gallons pots. They love the air. Topped(fim’d) one. She getting lanky but I feel she’ll snap back strong.

Day 42 flowering: What a start to this update with the #3 Mango cream being ready for harvest NOW!!!. She has been maturing very quickly during the last few weeks and I have been concerned that she was somehow going towards a toxicity issue. Her buds began darkening really early in flower and I thought it looked very different to the others. As the last week has passed I have been looking at her trichrones with the microscope as they oustils had all gone majority brown too. They had mostly clouded and a couple of odd amber spheres were visible too. as the week went on I saw more begin to amber so took her out a day ago too have a dark period before trimmed for drying . She is the first I have ever had this quick in decades of growing !. The video shows her colours off well and her maturity to harvest too. @exoticseeds have a winner here. lol she smells amazing too with a really nice icky sticky feel . I will update her progress once trimmed. #1 is the smaller of the 3 remaining ladies now ansneven with the #4 beingna week behind her she is still the smallest in height. Her buds are nice and chunky and just as we hit the budswell period too , so shebshould finish with some nice sized colas. #2 Mango is a beast of a plant and by far the largest. Her main is a beast of a cola already with the side branching really picking up some size now too. A brilliant example of the strain I think. Her main is really tacky to touch and the nice smell it leaves all over my fingers is mouth-watering now. She should yield very well. #4Mango at day 35 looks very like the #3 plant for her bud appearance. slightly different pheno i think. More like a wedding cake strain but still very nice and colourful. She has been using pellets in the soil mix and just waterings but they are not good in my opinion and I have had to add megacrop to keepnher growing well now I waited as long as I dare to see if the pellets helped in flower but even using the second part of the feed has not helped. The megacrop has already begun to colour them back up to a more healthy green so i am hoping I can keep her happy until harvest now. She is pushing out a very nice fruity smell now too. I am looking forward to trying the photoperiod strains I have from exotic now and will be germinating Herz Og and Quick sherbet in a couple of weeks time for the summer run. Top genetics from a great breeder . Thank you Exotic. ###UPDATE###UPDATE###UPDATE### The Mango cream #3 has been in the dark for the past 48hrs and has now been trimmed and is hanging to dry. She will be dried low and slow now for approx 10-14 days at around 15-17°C in a large cardboard box with a steady air exchange. She has a surprising size and weight to her for such a short time from seed and is as finished as any plant i have harvested before . What an amazing little lady she has been to grow She looked a little stunted initially and soon filled the pot she was in. 20L was way too small for these genetics to flourish and at least a 30L would be my advice. Happy days , let's see what she yields dried while we wait for her sisters to join her. Be well Growmies

Hands down she has raced to be the first plant that will be harvested, which I do not mind because this cheese scent she has is driving me crazy, my senses are drooling 🤤 and crying, patience is a skill reserved for the brave. Love how the LST has given me about 3 main stems, the crystallisation on this plant is incredible, it looks like I am growing it in an indoor environment. All she’s doing is fattening her buds, I hope she gives about 50grams of dry bud. I need to start formulating a questionnaire, I am going to dedicate 10grams to researching how well I grow bud, that is six strains, 10grams each, that is about 60 joints weighing a gram each. At the end I want to open my own community weed forum.

Hey y'all! This is how the girls look at the end of flower -week 2! I tried my best to let them grow out but I did some light defol throughout the week, mainly on large leaves covering bud sites and to help with circulation on permanent marker. Most of the plants are now touching the screen and branches can be tucked/manipulated as needed. I began taking clones to help with canopy management and for genetic retention if they end up being great! So far 6 of 13 have been cloned. I have moved on from Jacks 321 and will now add MKP to the mix and adjust the formula accordingly (2-2-1.2-2). The plants were fed this flowering formula yesterday (Sunday) I am excited to see how these plants look at the end of this week. I was nervous going into this grow as this is pretty much my first grow of my adult life. I am still pretty nervous as I enter bloom and there are some things i would do differently (like this many plants in a small space...) Thank you for everybody who has engaged with my diary so far! Lovin her so far. Fingers crossed but i havent had a problem with her yet. Did my math wrong on the nutes so i fixed that this week. Spread out leaves so shes easy to defoliate and she doesnt really need it much cause all the parts still get light. She just started showing pistils which im super happy happy about The stems smell super dank but still a pretty weak smell so far. 3 days later and shes even taller and the pistils are starting to look like buds. She dried up already so i gave them an extra litre of water this time so i adjusted the nutes a bit. I plucked a lot of the big leaves again. IDK if that was a good idea or not but it felt right because so many of the lower branches werent getting that much light. I didnt go too crazy and left some leaves. She bounced back fine last time so im not worried. Cant wait to see some buds!!

Day 65 - Bessy got some needed defoliation as the central part of the plant was becoming too dense. Lower nodes were exposed to direct light and air circulation through plant was increased. Bessy has longer internodes than Jessy, but is not lanky in growth. Day 66 - Both ladies showed signs of a very slight nutrient burn on the leaf tips. They will be getting only water tomorrow to avoid any more damage. First time growing photoperiod cannabis, the practical learning curve is real! Day 70 - Thinned out both ladies, starting from the bottom and removing any branches growing inwards and lower leaves and growth. Also defoliated a bit from the top of the plants to expose lower growth to more light. Loving the way they are both growing, slightly different phenos.

Both the gelato and the forbidden runtz have nice bushy structure as of now.. I may train them when they get a little bit older but as of now I will let them be and see how they veg out.

Day 31: 2L (PH6.3) with 1ml/L PK13-14 She's definitely well on her way to stretch, and some of the bud sites are already showing signs of consolidation and an increase of mass, not so much as to call it stacking or bulking, but a great early flower nonetheless. To aid with bud forming, I've started mixing in some flower nutes. I'm starting at half dose and will probably follow up with a regular watering later this week. Additionally, after taking the pictures, I removed the upper fan leaves of the main cola and the next highest too since it was outpacing the others. I'm trying to not agitate her too much to prevent stunting. Since she's grown so much, the main cola was receiving 900 PPFD, and the lowest canopy budsite - in the front on the pictures - was receiving about 450 PPFD. Hence, I raised the light up to 30cm above the main cola. I haven't remeasured the PPFD afterwards. Day 34: 2L (6.5PH) + 0.5mL/L CalMag
