Plant is growing well. Probably the prettiest one outta the bunch so far.

February 16, 2021 (Week 6, Day 43): Very nice canopies beginning to develop now. Growth sites are apparent and growing vertically. Had to slow Unknown 1 down just a little bit because it's outgrowing the other plants; brought branches down level with other canopies. I watered today with 4 liters per plant + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 1ml/l Cal-Mag Plus at 5.6 pH. Runoff sitting at a perfect 6.5pH and 900ppm. Loosened all remaining LST ties to promote upward growth. It's officially wall-to-wall leaves in here now. I hope there's lots of great growth this week so we can switch to flower soon! Happy growing! 👻 February 17, 2021 (Week 6, Day 44): Saw between .5-.75" vertical growth over the last 24-hours. Canopy is coming along nicely. Everything is growing very evenly - I only had to adjust one branch to keep it in-line with the others. Hopefully they'll continue to grow even with each other. Medium is still very moist after watering yesterday. Gelato 1 seems to be drinking a bit more than the others, but I'll keep watering on the same schedule to promote adequate drying of the root-zone. Averaging 55% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 18, 2021 (Week 6, Day 45): Another half inch of growth overnight. These ladies are trucking along and flowering is just around the corner. With this growth I'll definitely be switching to flower on day 50. Medium is still moist, lightly tilled topsoil. LST is holding down the main branches well while allowing a bit of stretch. Hopefully this progress keeps up! Averaging 55% rH and 74℉. February 19, 2021 (Week 6, Day 46): Growth on growth on growth. Plants tacked on between .75-1" of new growth overnight. Soil was bone dry this morning and pots were super light. Watered with 4l per plant + 3.5ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 1ml/l Cal-Mag Plus @ 5.8 pH. Runoff sitting at 6.6 pH. The plants are starting to drink a lot and I barely got any runoff. I will add a quarter teaspoon of my Humboldt Nutrients Big Up flower powder to kick-start the plants and switch them to flower. I took four fan leaves off Unknown 1 as they weren't getting any light. Took all remaining LST ties off of Unknown 2 as it is lagging behind the others (as usual). Averaging 55% rH and 74℉. February 20, 2021 (Week 6, Day 47): Manifolding is coming along nicely. Defoliated bottom-most node on each growth stem on each plant. Soil is only moist after watering yesterday - these plants are getting thirsty as hell. Tilled half inch of top soil. Everything looks great today. The anticipation to switch to flower in a few days is killing me! Happy Saturday everyone! Averaging 55% rH and 75℉. February 21, 2021 (Week 6, Day 48): Another inch of growth overnight. We are up to 12" in total height now. Was aiming for about ~16", but since this is my first grow I am not trying to be exact, I just want to make sure these things fit in my tent after the flowering stretch. Everything is looking great for the switch in two days. Soil is slightly moist - tilled top half inch of soil. Adjusted a couple of branches on Unknown 1 to keep growth level. Plants are looking perfectly healthy! Gelato 1 is spitting out pistils and pre-flowers like she just can't wait to start. Smelling really creamy and sweet. Averaging 55% rH and 74℉. Nothing else for today. 😺 February 22, 2021 (Week 6, Day 49): It's the last day of veg! Plants will sleep at 8:00pm and wake up at 8:00am from now until harvest. Medium is quite dry but I will water tomorrow morning with my first batch of flowering nutrients. I'll use Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Botanicare Sweet Raw for the first 4-5 weeks, and then I'll switch over to Humboldt Nutrients Big Up flower powder for the last several weeks to finish it off. I'll feed just a tiny bit of the finisher tomorrow to give the plants a potassium/phosphorus boost to induce flowering. Really excited for the next step in this process! Been on 12/12 for a week and I am seeing a little stretch and signs of preflower. I moved her to the back row corner to pair up similar sized plants for even lighting. Spread her branches out a little in hopes that a few more of the lower branches will fight their way to the top. I am excited about all of the girls but I have especially high hopes for this widow. The veg cycle was shorter than i usually like to have a plant go through, due to time restrictions for the Bubba Cheesecake Diary grow-off, but it still did fantastic in my mind! Three months in veg under high-octane light and 11 1/2 weeks in flower have let this plant turn into a dreadlocked group of nugs. Three main colas, but lots of burnable flower to enjoy once the dry is finished. I did a light LST with a decent amount of defoliation throughout the plant's life. I like to open up the middle area of the plant and let as much light as possible hit as many branch and potential flower nodes as possible. This way, i don't need to lollipop as many branches and as much foliage as i would if i didn't do this. Plus, the candelabra look is b-e-a-Utiful, in my opinion. Light intensity through veg ranged from 40% as a fresh seedling to around 55% the week before i put it into the bloom room. Once it was in the bloom room, the intensity was set at 50% for the first couple weeks to allow for a decent stretch. After that, i think i recorded the light intensity in my diary notes for each week. But, just in case i didn't, I bumped up the intensity by a few percent every 3 days until i hit 100%. Once i got to MAXIMUM POWER, i left it there until harvest. Water was natural well water that tests out at 7 pH. I always added BuildABloom to the water, never the soil, when i used it. Same with Dr. Earth's 1-2-1 tea concentrate. Other than those instances, it was just straight water that i was giving to the plant. Grow rooms are both about 4'x8'. The Stretch is not so bad. At Flower Day 1 they are 81, 73 and 59cm big. At Day 14 are on 99, 97 and 70cm big. I look at the tallest Branch Watering daily with 1 to 2 Litres. 0,5ml of Calmag per Liter. But last Time go up to 0,8ml Run the Deep Red again to get a better Flower Production I don’t want to stress them much until Day 19. But at the Bottom of the Plants there is no Airflow and i had so much Leaves that falls off. So i make a little lollipopping Session yesterday. One Day before i gave the bigger ones 10ml PK 5/8 again with a bit of Bactrex and the shorter one 14ml. I guess she is the big Eater in the Corner. Just have a look if she like that. Forget to check the PPFD Rate since the Flower began. Good that i do it. On one Main Branch i‘m at 1700 😅 and the shortest Bilbo don’t get much. So i build her up and now have regular Canopy again. They all have 1000 PPFD now One Week left and then we see what really hangs on the Ladies 🤩🤘🏼

Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. In my opinion, the harvest was quite good for a first grow. The buds are now in jars with humidity control packs and hygrometers, curing in the dark. Several weeks have passed, and I've already had the chance to try them. I have to say that I quite like the taste, and when smoking, I don't experience any harshness or other negative effects; instead, it feels rather mild and pleasant. The effect is good—not what I'm used to, but very pleasant and calming. I'm already looking forward to the next grow.

So over the last seven days I did a lot of low stress training. Since my tent is very small, I start very early and often a little bit too aggressive. But it's weed, it's strong, it can handle it. CnW seems a little small, but there are just not so much leaves, which is a good thing. BM on the other hand seems complete out of control, but will be fine in a couple more days. And I put my net in, around 20cm above the soil. I will flip to 12/12 in the upcoming week.

Hey everyone An average week. Jack 2 still doing her best and she is whitout a doubt the best girl of this round. All buds are swelling up and are looking very frosty. she is in her final period now. Gave one last feeding with nutrients and from now on its flushing time. By the end of the week (maybe 10 days) I will chop and harvest her. The night/early morning humidity is pretty high too. Around 90%... Wich brings me too NL 1 😪 NL 1 is another story Remember I said last week I found some budrot... Well it has spread to some lower buds too so I decided to end this grow. There will be something left to save but not much. It's not for me anymore too. Gonna give her away. I'm not a fan of plants that have rot in anyway haha. I still can't blame the plant herself. She had rough conditions and a stupid accident caused by me. Still a bit sad because she looked fantastic in the beginning. Oh well Will still do the harvest report next week but not sure if she will be still here then. All focus on Jack 2 now 🙂 Another grow to learn from Happy growing friends, see u next week 😉🙏

Sensi Seeds Jack Herer 4 weeks of flowering completed 10th March 2020 💪💪 She's Got the spirit this one and is really growing to the expectations of my wildest dreams The Buds are very sticky and have a distinct aroma unlike anything else in my canna Garden. She still has about 6 weeks left before I can harvest her so anything could happen between now and then , but if I can get her right thru to maturity I think I'll have some of The Finest medicine available 👌 Been feeding about 7 Litres a day of either plain water or water with some added goodies .
