During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. 9/8 starting to look frosty, starting to ever so slightly start looking more like buds. Switched to beastie bloomz. Shes the one plant barely affected by these high winds we have. Shes a short stocky ultra durable plant producing heavy resin so far 9/10 plants filling out nicely. I lollipopped some of the lower branches that werent really producing any buds at all. Should've done it like a month ago but oh well.

Que decir os esta semana?!? Pues os dejo un vídeo en Alta Definición 4K, que os dejará ver los aspectos preciosos que se han desarrollado en los últimos 10 días. Primer aspecto de relieve, la cantidad muy elevada que he estimado tener hasta el momento y que puede que se encuentre en casi 350g sin secar y es muy sencillo, el árbol Sativa que se diseñó con el ScroG, ha tenido un crecimiento fantástico conectando internudos que tenían un espacio que no dejaba anticipar que los cogollos se fueran a unir unos a otros. La descripción de la cepa, dava a la Strawberry Cheesecake Automática de Barney's como un "cultivar" con posibilidad de yeld/m² sobrepasando los 600g/m² y la matemática de mi grow tent nos dice sin lugar a duda que tenemos una área de 0,7 m² o sea que la cuenta de productividad nos enseña que de modo muy claro estaremos por arriba en lo expectable y con lo que está diseñado en la estructura de cogollos, se han formado con los supercropping y el Scrog, al menos 6 colas que tendrán como casi 30 cms, sobre las ramas y un espesor casi como una lata estrecha de bebida y en el vídeo es muy presente lo que os digo. Después y en una línea alternativa nos ha salido adelante, pero muy justa, la Critical Jack Herer de Delicious Seeds. Ambas las cepas son fenomenales cuanto a la calidad de sus terpenos y las hojas de azúcar y porcentaje de resinas es muy elevada...pese a que como he ya referido en la pasada entrada del diário, que las dos cepas no son las más aromáticas y eso no representa un problema...o a lo mejor, si olieran mucho, ahí si tendríamos un problema que cualquier productor puede que tenga si las familias Skunk,Haze, Cheese o Sours se presentan a "grow". Se de experiencia sobrada que cuando empezemos la seca en el saco red y bajando la humedad de la habitación para un nivel aceptable en la seca de los cogollos (rondando los 40%) seguro tendremos un olor mucho más intenso y en esos momentos y por que el armario y el área de red de secado se encuentran en la habitación más interior de mi piso, tendremos por precaución el cuidado de a diário, quemar un par de astillas de incienso de preferencia, el sándalo de Sri Sai Baba, que es un increíble disfraz del olor canábico. Por mis cuentas tendremos más 10 a 14 dias de Strawberry Cheesecake, antes del flush final y después a los 6 días del flush, haremos el "sacrificio" de esta bella planta. Cuanto a la Critical Jack Herer, tengo seguro que todavía tendremos como al menos más 3 semanas como mínimo, para la engorda de cogollos y para la maduración de pistilos y terpenos. Es muy claro para mí, que la temporada de otoño 2022 y por que nos han tocado dos perfectos fenótipos Sativa, tardarían mucho más que los 80 días que cuando consulte las caracterizaciones de las cepas, pensé en principio que tendría y queda muy claro que con las Indicas que se anunciaban y con la evidencia de Sativas que al final nos salieron, tendríamos más tiempo de grow. O sea que esta temporada de otoño del 2022 que con el seedling, empezado el día 12 de septiembre en las dos cepas, tardará al menos en una de ellas, a desarrolarase casi como se de una fotoperiodica se tratara. Si lo sé plantaría fotoperiodicas y eso sí, por el tiempo consumido en esta temporada, tengo muy presente que las opciones para la primavera 2023 se decantan, de momento y de modo muy claro, por plantar tan solo una fotoperiodica que pueda garantizar un elevadísimo yeld y una calidad sobresaliente y en este momento, mis opciones se decantan por el experimento de grow con la cepa Bay Burger de Delicious Seeds, con su potencial de producción de casi 1kg/m² y su impresionante cantidad de THC que sobrepasa los 27%. Just another week veg

Day 29: No defoliation today. Giving the plant a rest after accidentally breaking the branch yesterday. Watered with nutrients (1ml G, 1ml SR). Took just under 3ltrs including run off. Day 30: Removed 3 of the original fan leaves attached to the main stem. There’s 2 left still to be removed. It seems all of a sudden the bud sites are staring to look like flowers. It doesn’t look like there’s not many bud sites. There’s also not a lot of leaves, it’s not what I would call a bushy plant (yet anyway). This suits me, well it does if the yield is good. Day 31: Watered with nutrients (1ml G, 1ml SR). Took around 3ltrs. I clipped off one more of the original big fan leaves so now there’s only one left. I also pulled in the two branches furthest to the right, bracing them off each other. Day 32: I don’t think worried is the correct word, but I am definitely conscious of the fact that this plant leaves are small and sparse (photos attached), it I’m used to battling plants that have too many leaves. There’s only 7 proper bud sites which at the moment look like they will be small. Branches are also very skinny. All this could be because of the strain itself or it could be due to the fact that the bulb I used from weeks 1 to 4 was only 125watt CFL compared to the 200watt CFL which I have always used. That’s the only difference between this and any other plant I have grown. The flowers are very well formed considering it’s not even 5 weeks old yet. Sure all we can do now is just see how it goes. Day 33: Just continued to use the Force to make the plant grow. Removed the the last two original fan leaves. *Due to commitments in the real world this week will only be five days long. Next week will be 9 days long to balance everything out.

Day 50: Girls are looking great! 💪 A couple of them are a little further along than the others. Pistils are starting to change colors. PPM's going in are higher than runoff PPM. No change in the PH. In at 6.5 and out at 6.5.... Still have some rust spots. Still thinking that I need to dial in my light distance/intensity. Day 51: Got one girl that the issue of rust spots is not going away. Not getting worse, but just will not leave. Other than that they are still bulking up and looking beautiful. Can't wait to start checking the tric's! Using AN Big Bud for a couple feeds and MOAB for a couple of feeds. Have been feeding every water as my output PPM's are less than what is going in. Will keep this cycle until needed to flush or an issue occurs.. Day 52: No new updates. They still look basically the same as 5 minutes ago when I checked em!! 😂😂 Day 53: Went ahead and ran 2 gallons of PH'd water through them. This rust spot issue is driving me crazy!!! Will just use PH'd water for a day or 2 and hope that it stops! Day 54: Well, no new spots that I see. Probably too early to tell, but I feel better about it :) Day 55: No new updates today. Watered with Recharge. Day 56: The girls look wonderful and smell the same. Gave them a good defoliation today as they were extremely bushy! Thanks, B for the pointers!! 👊

On the home stretch! Should see some decent bud swelling this week (at least that’s how this strain develops in DWC ... haven’t flowered White Shark in coco before 😬). Trichomes starting to cloud up more, as are the pistils browning and curling in.

Germinated seeds in half cup of water, and put straight into rapid rooter plugs, then into dwc buckets with hydroton clay pellets.

Day one of week 7! Saturday 3rd Oct. Yay I made it to week 7!! First week of flower! Flipped the lights and the girls are getting their first 12 hours of darkness as I type. As soon as it’s lights go on I’m gonna get the next lot of nutes in as they seemed almost ready for a feed when I put them to bed. Getting a little nervous the temps are a still bit high as we go into flower but these girls seem hardy so staying positive! UPDATE: Day 2 of week 7, Sunday 4th Oct. Girls still looking strong and nutes gone in again today. Got a fan blowing onto the outside of my tent (which is helping lots) as the slightly lower humidity levels are really heating things up with the dehumidifier working harder inside the tent now, especially around watering time. Fan at full whack, if this doesn’t work I may have to get an intake fan but was trying to avoid extra costs. Keeping a close eye 👁️ UPDATE: Tuesday 6th October Day 4 of week 7 Nutes in again and a little more teasing with the LST to keep the girls low on the stretch. Think I found a little white hair 🤩🤩 (see pics).... It’s getting exciting.. 🤓 UPDATE: Thursday 8th October Day 6 of week 7 Ok great news today.. All four ladies have some pretty little pistils all over various bud sites and no hermies in sight! Phew! 😅 Nutes going in too 👌🏼 Happy growing and all that jazz! 🍃🍁👌🏼❤️
