WEEK 7 - Day 51 - 05/21/20 Rickey Cricket is thriving in his little garbage can grow! 😵 The training has allowed the lower branches to reach up during the flower stretch and should get a fat little stocky bud-ball of a plant out of it. With the small amount of soil I can tell it's going to be a quick drinker. Nice and open now and need it for the small space of the grow. Welcome to the start of week 5 for Queen Citronella. She has developed a thick stem and really short internodal spacing. She responds willfully to LST. Day 29.5: Repotted. Look at those roots!! This is a special plant. Day 30: There was brief transplant shock as I forgot to flush the medium to correct PH... she's bounced back today. Queen Citronella has almost outgrown Karen who is 2 weeks older. Day 31: Happy one month birthday your majesty! Swelling in every direction. Starting to gain height. Day 32: I've noted a sudden uptick in thirst. In an unrelated note I have added a little 15w LED above her at about 10cm. I doubt it'll make any noticable difference but it's in there anyway as I use it for photos, so it may as well be on. Day 32.5: Have removed approx 20 fan leaves and performed further LST. Day 33: Look how fast Queen Citronella responds to LST and defoliation. She has gained 1cm in the last 24 hours and now stands at 25cm. Day 34: 26cm. Day 34.5: Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Performed further LST on lower nodes. Performed HST on some higher nodes just for practice. Day 34.75: Fertigated 4l Day 35: She didn't gain any height at all that I can tell, but she has put on a lot of leaf growth in the last 24h. So here we are at the end of week 5, and Queen Citronella is starting to take her regal form. Slightly alarmed by the yellowing new growth but her growth rate has stepped up again so it may be just normal. I'll keep an eye on it. Once I can take enough clones I'll cut her back a lot. For now she can grow as much as she wants. Citronella now smells citrusy, if you brush against her it's quite strong. Defoliated approx 6 fan leaves.

what do they say about different strains on the same RES, in the same pot??? welp, here goes nothing... Last time I saw this waterfarm I was still a teenager. Ran it in a closet with two 4ft flouro shop lights either side going vertically upward like the letter "A". Had two BIG ASS plants roughly 4ft tall in it side by side going STRONG! Healthy asf, huge ass healthy leaves, some 13 fingered. Flipped em and turned out BOTH were male... Been toying with the idea of doing it again... So what the hell... Here goes, 2 Girls 1 Cup or "pot"... One Herbies Godzilla Cookies Auto and one Fastbuds Wedding Glue Auto. Current setup: -36x36x60 tent -"1000w" led light (130w from the wall) -4in extraction fan/scrubber -20+ yr old GHE Waterfarm fitted with ice probe w/ controller and PLENTY of insulation around RES. -Multiple circulation fans -Taotronics humidifier Stay tuned to watch me fuck this up too 🤣 *Sow'd em both in organic peat pellets after a 24hr soak. Getting them acclimated to their new home early. Doing environment tests and dialing it in with the new to me ice probe, and the change to hydro versus soil plants that were in there. Will be more moisture in the air until a canopy covers my balls with the evaporation from the light. **lookey lookey, BOTH have come to life and are making way to the surface. Not long and they'll be in their new "cup". Last update on germination week as once they pop we start counting I suppose.

Had to spray some medicine again as there was a few bite marks from spidermites. May not get rid of em but can keep them at a lower number until harvest otherwise I would love to get rid of em but don't know the likelihood of that happening. Currently in the tent at 12/12 light schedule and have the lights running at night so cold of the night doesn't stunt any growth.

Growing report: The growth through veg stage was amazing couldn’t fault the plant or the feed BUT then flower stage is where these genetics goes all wrong! So two weeks into flower I see one plant had Hermied, so gave this one the axe, and then spoke to acouple of other growers that have the same strain Had the same problem So it’s now named (hermie pie) then in week 5 all plants Hermied. I managed to keep the seeds at bay mostly and slow down the process of them seeding until harvest on week 7/8 I got signs of bud rot but dealt with that quick enough it didn’t damage the rest of the the harvest. Once harvested they got a light trimming then hung up for 5/6days at temperatures 20/28 and humidity 45/60. Used Trimbag for the rest of the trimming process, got 6oz off 3plants 😬 curing for 2weeks in one ounce Jars 75% full. Bud report: Smell; is sweet and tangy Taste; sweet spicy taste Density of buds out of 10; 8. Some seeds found in buds😞 Thank you all for watching another stressful but fun and learning harvest.

Pineapple express is really going along nicely into week 8 for her got the white widow at the back left week 7 and grape ape back right week 8 you can see the difference In the colours of the leaves and how they have grown the pineapple is just a monster nice wide and fat would be good for a scrog net white widow and grape ape are really lanky but all 3 have many bud sites and I have had no problems at all with these girls so much fun and really easy to grow I surprised myself but I think alot need ti go down to the genetics and who you get seeds off use code ZAMMIGROW2024 for 20% off best thing I ever

6/7 - Day 78/Day 38 Flower Lower leaves continue to show signs of a deficiency but haven't been able to pinpoint what is causing it. I watered with a gallon of distilled water today in order to induce runoff. I got the following readings: - pH: 6.3 - PPM: 1530 - EC: 3.1 My PPM reading is about 120 less than last week which tells me that my girl is still feeding but not nearly at the rate that I would have anticipated this late in flower. I'm going to hold off on supplementing with any additional nutrients until I get down to 1200. Given how much time is left in flower (3 weeks), I doubt I'll hit that threshold before my flush. Going to continue just watering and watching pH. I've noticed that the smell has started to dissipate a bit over the last few weeks. I've had a stint of a few hot days where the tent was registering temps in the 90s. I'm hoping that I didn't compromise my terpene production. Only time will tell. 6/12 - Day 83/Day 43 Flower Starting to see signs that my leaves are entering the fade so decided to take a peak at my trichomes to see how close I am to harvest. I'd estimate the ratio of clear to cloudy trichomes to be at about 60% to 40%. Seeing a few amber heads but they are few and far between. Forgive the potato quality of the trichome pics - need to work on my photo technique. Based on the guidance from ILGM, the flowering period is expected to last 9 weeks and I'm right at the tail end of week 6. Given my current progress and how my trichs are looking, I'd expect that I'll be in a position to do a final flush next weekend. I'm going to hold off on feeding any further nutrients from here on out so that I can reduce my PPM count and have my girl ride out the remaining nutes in the soil. Based on my readings from early in the week, seems like there is still plenty of food in the medium. On a positive note, I noticed that the smell returned last night! Assuming I corrected the problem that cause the smell to dissipate over the last couple weeks - I am looking forward to a pungent yield in a couple weeks!

With the seeds of the next cycle already germinating in cups of water it was time to harvest the Northern Light Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds. She was moved outside the tent and was given a full hand trim. The entire process took about three hours. As opposed to the Sherbet Queen of last run, the Northern Light was trimmed wet. Drying conditions are 23°C and between 50-60% humidity. She still smells a bit like hay on the second day after harvest, nowhere near dry. On the third day after harvest, the hay smell is stronger. More information once she's dried sufficiently. Ofcourse, I will then also share her dry weight. After some consulting our peer group came up with a range between 65-90 grams. What is YOUR guess?

Hey there the 2 pound cake plants are doing well they grew a decent amount sense a week ago. I turned the light up to about 200umol they seem to be able to take more light earlier than photo plants. I'm wandering if I should be giving it even more light I don't want them to be to small when they go into flower they look nice and the leaves are never sagging
