The plants start flowering last week and the light schedule is 12/12. I feed the plant every day. Hesi nutrients controls and correct the PH level, thats really helpful. Let's see what size will be the buds after 2 weeks.

Day 50

This week are repotted the plants and will move the four in BAC lava soil up to my Dr120 this week. I have just cleaned it and like to leave it empty for a week , move the food source for any bugs. They have just had water this week and are bouncing back from being topped. The two in dwc are staying in this tent.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Moving the light schedule to 12.5hrs on on the way to 13hrs on by week 5. I'm super happy with the growth, though the flowers are about half the size as it's pot-mate's.

Leicht den Überblick verloren. Wurde krank, dann viel Arbeit und keine Zeit gehabt. Die Pflanze hatte zwischendurch mal Probleme, weil ich ihr viel zu viel Wasser gegeben habe und das hat sie locker eine Woche gekostet. Egal, jetzt sieht sie fit aus und geht in die Blüte. Sie hat 1x 100 ml FertiPlus 5-1-5+ bekommen und eine hohe Dosis Pflanzengeflüster, das hat sie wieder auf Kurs gebracht. Trainiert wurde nur durch gezieltes Entlauben einzelner Sonnensegel und mit LST Clips Tag 34: Insgesamt sieht die Pflanze wieder super aus, vielleicht etwas klein fürs Alter. Heute wurde auch stark trainiert.

Die Letzte Woche war hart. Die Lampe habe ich zur Vorsicht wieder auf 127 Watt gedimmt. Bob hat zu zwittern angefangen und ich habe einige Bananen entfernt. Ich hoffe die Schnittstellen erholen sich, doch bisher bin ich guter Dinge. Aufgrund der möglichen bestäubung habe ich jedoch keine grossen Erwartungen mehr an das Endergebnis. Nichts desto trotz sind die Topcolas wirklich saftig und dick. Der Geruch im Schrank ist Muffig, Süss und fruchtig. Die Mädels erholen sich soweit und werden wieder elastischer und klebriger. Ich verzichte nun bewusst darauf, die Pflanzen zum Fotografieren aus dem Zelt zu stellen und beobachte nun täglich mit Adleraugen die weitere Banenenentwicklung sowie Trichomreifung

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance. Well the girls are swelling up and smelling fantastic this week.Noticing the trichomes really building up lately.These papaya cookies are a very resilient strain as I’ve battled heat and humidity for a large portion of the grow and they have been doing great.Its been a blast watching these girls grow and develop.Will update later on in the week also I’m keeping light intensity set at 60 percent power because that’s what seems to make the happiest.Ive tried to pound them with light and added a co2 bag but they did not like the heat or extra light.I used some organic Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses to add some sugars and a dash of epsom salts for a little more Magnesium.Ive been back and forth in my brain with the light intensity and Day 52 now set at 80 percent power.Reading some reviews of this strain she is a sun lover I believe so I’m just going to let them have it.Some of the fan leaves are fried some curling and fading but the new growth looks healthy and the buds are looking amazing..I’ll give them a final haircut later on this weekend.Day 55 the buds are maturing the pistols turning bright orange and trichomes building up making some very frosty buds :).I can’t wait to smoke these girls 🥦🔥😎.

Filled in nicely after all cropping was done.Mostly the bottom and midsection show great development. I've had them on a 16 hr schedule for a few weeks I think I'll flip the lights to 13/11 tonight. Trying something different in lowering the daylight time gradually to a final end of flowering light/dark of 10/14.
